Great customer service and product!
I ordered a book last minute for our SVP who retired. I was able to set the project up and had a few response submissions and placed the order without issue. After the order was submitted I received quite a few more responses and reached out to have them added to the project. Brittany was so helpful and accommodating and made this so easy and stress free! The whole project was simple and the customer service was absolutely amazing! The book turned out great and ended up making a strong hard man shed a tear after receiving his gift. I would recommend this to all my friends and family to make a lasting and great keepsake that has so much room for customization!

Good but could be better...
To start, the pros:
- The overall quality of the book, pages, and pictures were great and worth the cost.
- There were good color choices and customizable choices.
- The setup was fairly easy.
Cons:
- Arrived with a dent in the lower left of every page so looks like something happened on the press and it was not checked for quality.
- The title page could have been created better and/or things could have been checked before printing. I know it stated no human would check but I also could not make adjustments to how the title fit.
- I could not delete certain questions after people started answering and I did not realize you had to mark "optional" or "required" so everyone had to answer all prompts and if I wanted to delete some that folks could not answer, I would have had to delete all responses and start over. This is definitely a flaw in your overall design.

Great experience
Brittany was such a help with editing the book. She was prompt to respond to my many questions and requests. The contributors all appreciated the writing prompts- made it easy! The photos and cover were clear and looked great. It arrived early! Most of all, my husband loved the book. Hearing from all of the people he loves meant so much to him and was the perfect way to commemorate his 50th. I will definitely use them again!

Terrific experience
Terrific experience! Used K&K for an 80th birthday book. Format allowed us to reach out to people across many locations and generations. Ultimately got over 50 contributors. End product was exactly as advertised and arrived early. Encountered one technical difficulty while finalizing. Customer support response was immediate and helpful.

The kith and kin books I have gifted to family for milestone birthdays are hands down some of the best gifts I have ever given. They are beautifully made and allow easy creation of a priceless treasure. Customer service is quick and very helpful. I am so happy I found these and look forward to creating more.

Don’t use these books! You are better off making one yourself on a photo site.
These books are not easy or user friendly. The pictures looked darker than what was submitted. There is no live customer service to help. My book ended up missing an important page and was delivered late. People submitting pages were confused by only being able to include one photo and had trouble with submissions. The way to preview your book and check for mistakes was confusing. The customer service was decent when I shared my complaints and they replaced the book at no charge however, I will not be using them again.

Your book was ordered, produced, and shipped within our standard 5-business-day production window. The economy shipping option selected at checkout provided an estimated delivery timeframe, but as this is not a guaranteed service, delivery times can vary—especially during the busy holiday season. Since mail carriers do not deliver on Christmas Day, this may have contributed to the delay in receiving your order on December 26th. I regret that the chosen shipping option didn’t align with the timeline you were hoping for.
As a small business, we take pride in responding to customer inquiries promptly—typically within a few hours. When you first reached out after receiving your book, we responded immediately and worked quickly to find a resolution that would address your concerns.

OMG! The book is absolutely even better than I imagined it would be! The process was seamless, the quality is amazing. Thoughtful Customer Service
There were a couple of print issues that the PDF proof didn’t reflect. When I brought it to their attention, I was able to open my project back up, make edits, and then they reprinted with expedited shipping. I appreciate the prompt response and action…and the book is going to be such a wonderful gift!

Overall nice but could be amended
I have received the book and the paper quality and pictures are all lovely. If I had to do it over again, however, I would make certain that the each open page would have the writing on one side and the submitted picture on the other. If someone did not submit a picture, I would like there to be an option for a blank page. I also noticed that in some cases where the contributors wrote more, the writing had to continue onto another page. Is there a way to decrease the font so that it can remain on one page? Again, this is to ensure that each person who submits has their own open book pages and the recipient can drink in the submissions each on their own. Although a review system is in place, it is difficult to assess. Finally, the ability to actually talk to a person would have been very helpful - and then the issues that I described above could have been handled.
