Great experience

Great products at great prices. Shipping was swift, arriving ahead of predicted date. Some buyers seem to have not experienced such on-time delivery but that would would seem likely due to product availability - some ski socks I considered buying stated delivery in 2-3 weeks, so I chose not to purchase.
That aside, I'm very happy with the helmet...and £30 cheaper than elsewhere. DPD shipping at around £8 seems decent, and it's a reliable service.

Good overseas, UK use overpriced.

Gave my son my Caxton card, he was charged £1.50 for every tap transaction. It probably states that in the T&C but it seems excessive. Especially with fewer places taking cash, and Tap being so universal. Paying 80p for a drink, and then paying almost twice again for the transaction is ridiculous.

Lily was very helpful and promptly sent out a replacement, which arrived within 48 hours. Really pleased with the lamp, and a good price too. I will be a repeat customer. Thank you very much.

Just an affiliate platform. Poor products.

Nothing but an affiliate platform these days. The two items I ordered came from individual suppliers, both delivered shoddily by Evri, both damaged on arrival. Any issues have to be taken up with the supplier, as Debenhams not interested. One, a bamboo cabinet so appalling, that it takes the top spot of 'worst thing I have ever ordered on-line'. Flimsy, unstable, splintered wood shelves. Scratched acrylic panels. Holes drilled in the wrong places. This thing could barely support its own weight, let alone a book or two. There's no option to leave a product review of course...but all I can say is do NOT buy 'Living and Home Versatile 3-Tier (or any other tier for that matter) Bamboo Storage Cabinet'. It's not in any way fit for purpose.
So 1 star for you Debenhams for being a shell of your former self. I won't be buying again.

A very good company

Good products at good prices, with free postage at low £ threshold. Great customer service too. I've used this company a number of times, it's too bad that they're closing in the UK.

Poor shop, good phone support experience.

After a frustrating exchange with shop staff who couldn’t have been less interested, I spoke to a representative on the phone. He promptly rectified the problem and offered me a very good deal as apology. Based on that, I’ll be staying with O2 - a great reminder that decent customer service goes a long way. So 4 stars for him, and no stars for the two fools in Oxford Westgate shop, who were too busy watching videos on their phones to help customers.

Bad. Missing flowers, poor quality.

Update: refunded but this company needs to look at their business model. Orders are shipped 3rd party, via Interflora - a company I’ve had issues with before. So unfortunately I won’t be using Flying Flowers again, regardless of prompt refund. Also, replies to complaints are just copy and paste. Pretty poor.

Appalling. The Sunflowers were ordered for my mother on the anniversary of my father’s death. I paid £29 for what should have been 12 flowers, delivered next day. They arrived on time and my mother was grateful. On visiting, I saw the bunch. 8 small, tired-looking droopy stems. Mostly brown, they looked dry and sad five days later. Obviously my mother wasn’t going to mention it, and on seeing them, I was thoroughly disappointed. I will not be using Flying Flowers again because I now can’t trust that the recipient is going to receive what I ordered and expected. And considering the nature of the gesture, I think it’s shocking.

Increased price from online quote without explanation

Clicking through to Swinton from comparison site, the policy price increased by £60. Ringing them, the person I spoke to said 'I don't know how they do those things, I can't tell you why'.
'Right, so I'm just supposed to pay an extra 12% on the quoted price without knowing why?'
'Yes'.
All the other providers quotes remained the same.
Incompetent. So my Swinton journey ends here...

Wasn’t going to be in, so stated alternative address or back to depot. Driver left it by my door, signed for by me. So unbelievably hopeless. If there was a choice when ordering from websites to NOT use this company, I never would again.

Initial slow after-sales-service, later rectified

1* edited, as problem (significant damage and disintegration of box, from mystery blue chemical that had leached onto helmet) now rectified. SBS’s initial lethargic response was frustrating - I felt they should have sent a replacement straight away, and not wait for DPD’s ‘investigation’. But as new helmet arrived before my departure deadline, I consider it resolved.

Poor. Very damaged, wet box and contents. No response.

Poor. Box arrived sodden from unknown blue chemical. Bag and helmet covered inside too. Driver tried to leave it without ringing bell, when I came out he said ‘yeah, don’t know what it is, sorry’ and left. Still waiting for collection from DPD to return to Sportsbikeshop, neither company seem bothered to rectify this problem swiftly. Poor.

70% failure rate trying to go swimming.

Signed up for Oxford Ferry swimming/gym, paid 2 months in advance, around £70. I've managed one swim so far in three weeks. The other attempts have been thwarted by 'no lifeguard'. I've tried booking a session with the fitness coach too. A rare date became available...but 2 weeks in advance was 'too far ahead to book'. Seriously, this is useless. I'll be cancelling membership before the end of the year.

Dry, tasteless, missing key ingredients. Poor.

Terrible experience. Bath restaurant was dirty, lots of people waiting too long asking where their orders were. A Deliveroo rack stacked with bags not being collected. But worse, our order was cold, dry and tasteless AND missing key ingredients - no onion, NO CHEESE and NO PEPPERCORN sauce. Never before has the product description and imagery been so inaccurate. By the time we got home, a 15 minute drive, we were not bothering to return. The whole experience felt like nobody gave a damn. How could this shamefully named ‘Steakhouse Stack’ (ha! Has anyone there actually ever visited a Steakhouse?) leave the ‘kitchen’ like this, without staff being aware. They just didn’t care. I suggest you don’t visit this hole.

Well, I'm trying but as usual it's impossible thanks to frozen forms, pages missing and errors of your making. Question: what four letters succinctly sum-up the current dysfunctional, poorly-performing and contradictory merd-show that is UK government? D, V, L and A.

DVLA, reliably brilliant...

Nothing works, no support, hopeless. Attempting to renew licence online results in repeated errors of DVLA's making. Try it all again, states 'we can't match your details' - the same details I previously entered. Try again, states 'please close down your browser and wait 20 minutes'. Try Chat, first message states 'you have answered yes to all questions, please close chat'. If I didn't already know the DVLA to be entirely dysfunctional, I'd assume it was some sort of scam. Is there any other government department as hopeless as this? Probably, yes.
