Really impressive service
Zoe responded to my request speedily and extremely efficiently. My repair was carried out in significantly less time than anticipated and my earrings returned to me with no problem.

Brought a special bracelet and…
Brought a special bracelet and champagne bottle charm for my daughters 21st. Unfortunately the clasp on chain broke and is unable to be fixed and could not replaceso offered to exchangethe charm. Which my daughter was very upset about as it was for her 21st, they said as it was her 21st that she could keep the charm and still replace it with another. This made her very happy. Excellent customer service. Thank you.

Gold vermeil item shoddy quality
Avoid anything gold vermeil!
Having complemented a friend on a silver locket necklace she was wearing I was signposted to Astley Clarke. I have been looking for gold jewellery for a long time but every design I liked was either gold plated or vermeil. I was dubious about the quality of plated/vermeil jewellery but having looked at the information on their website about the longevity of vermeil I felt it was worth a try.
When the bracelet arrived I was so pleased with it. The chain was extremely delicate and worrying I might lose the locket, I decided to only wear it for special occasions.
I have worn this bracelet only a few times, each time just for a few hours. Being paranoid about vermeil, I was strict in terms of removing the jewellery and have never worn it in the bath/shower. Due to a chronic illness I am not able to exercise or go swimming so the item was not exposed to chlorine or sweat etc and I don’t use products they list as problematic for vermeil. Based on this I would expect the jewellery to still look good in years to come. Sadly this was not the case. After just a few wears, the vermeil was clearly wearing away on the side of the locket that was in contact with my skin. How can this be if the quality of the vermeil is as described??
I contacted the company and they were quick to respond. Sadly I was informed that I could not return or exchange the item as it was not faulty but they offered to recoat it. Thinking this was my only option I accepted. It took a while but when my locket bracelet was returned it was missing the photos. Customer services were apologetic and advised I could reorder photos for free. I did this and when the photos arrived they had been cut so the top of my son’s head was cut out of the photos. I ordered them again and the same thing happened. I have now tried to order the replacement photos 3 times and this time there is a delay from the courier so I still do not have the photos.
I have since looked into vermeil further, knowing I have not mistreated the item in any way and have only worn the item a few times, I have no confidence that the same wont happen again. I therefore got in touch with customer services again stating that for the vermeil to wear away so quickly the item was faulty when I originally made contact and have asked for a refund or at least exchange for an item that is silver (not vermeil!). I have been told that because I accepted their original solution I cannot pursue this. So now I’m stuck with a locket I have no photos in and that is of questionable quality. Very disappointing.

Great product and customer service
I ordered a personalised necklace, however on arrival on element was missing. I contacted the company via email and Zoe got back to me straight away to rectify the situation free of charge! Great customer service and a great product. I bought on recommendation of a friend and I’ve not been disappointed! Thank you

Excellent service
Excellent service, had my locket a week or so and my chain broke and they replaced my item straight away.
All I did was email them re the breakage and they Responded quickly, the item was replaced with help and advice from them. Very pleased 5stars

Lost bracelet
I recently lost a bracelet I'd had for a while and wore a lot. It is no longer available online but I contacted Zoe at Astley Clarke to see if it was coming back into stock. She replied that it wasn't available online but they had one in the studio I could buy. She quickly sent the relevant paperwork through, I paid and a day later the bracelet arrived. Superb customer service from Zoe - she was extremely helpful and efficient and I am delighted with my replacement bracelet.

A good service for a repair and a fair price
The catch on my bracelet broke one day, I’d been wearing it nearly every day for about 4 years!
I took it back to Astley Clarke in Covent Garden. They sent it to their workshop for an estimate. I agreed to the fair price they told me it would be for the repair, I paid online and they emailed me when it was ready. I went back to the store to pick it up, although I could have also had it posted to me if needed. Everything was done within the time frame they gave me. I am very happy with the repair and the service.

Requested to repeat buy my favourite necklace… instead I got advice on how to restore my old one
I reached out to ask a question on how to purchase an exact replacement for a very old and well loved necklace from Astley Clarke. Instead of pushing me to consider purchasing something similar but not the exact same… my love for the necklace was respected and instead I was given some simple but comprehensive advice on how I might be able to restore it myself…. Absolute epitomy of customer at the heart of everything! Thank you again Zoe! Ps. It turned out quite nicely and I am wearing it again after more than 10 years 🙏🏼
