This is probably the most expensive toilet paper you'll ever buy, because if you buy traveler's insurance from AXA, you're better off using your policy to wipe your ass. We've been buying AXA insurance for years whenever making an overseas trip, and when we finally had a trip that was delayed by 12 hours and filed a claim with complete documentation, they found any lame excuse in the book to deny our claim. Like "your airline did not specify in their certification that the delay was caused by engine malfunction." Like what else would cause a trip delay? We had to sleep in the airport and were sleep deprived (my mom also suffers from high blood pressure), tapos eto pa. If Eirene Follero Maramag is reviewing your claim, you can be rest assured that they'll give you nothing. She's a glorified toilet paper salesperson.

HMO? Avoid them like the plague

Read the rest of the reviews here regarding HMO. Don't get it from them; when you're sick, have an emergency, or anything that requires immediate assistance, no one from AXA will help you. My sister went to the ER and no one was answering her. She emailed for reimbursement and they said that they're declining her claim because she should have called. You need to email them for every single little thing. You can't even get a simple CBC from them. Or a chest Xray. Without emailing and waiting for them to reply in 3 business days. Sometimes they don't even bother at all. It's horrible HMO. They have no compassion, and no intent to help you with your medical.

Scam!

My parents bought insurance for their visit to the US, but we have been experiencing delays with our claim for my dad's ER visit .Despite submitting all required documents, AXA has continuously delayed the process by attributing it to various reasons, such as the claims officer being on leave. This experience has been frustrating, especially after reading negative reviews about AXA.

Huwag maging tanga sa axa

Sa mga nagpaplanong kumuha ng AXA investments, huwag na! Sobrang talo ko sa AXA investment ko...imbis na makaipon nalugi ako ng husto. Naiscam ako ng tudo..pakiramdam ko tayo pang mga policy holders ang nagsweldo sa mga tauhan nila
, grabe!!!!! NakakaTANGA ang pakiramdam hinintay ko pang umabot ako sa ganito ka lugi. Almost 10 years na. Mga walanghiya talaga nakakainsulto sa pagiging mahirap, bakit mga mahihirap ang binibiktima netong mga ito! Maawa naman kayo taga AXA AYUSIN nyong magpa explain mabuti sa mga iiscamin ng mga agent nyo. Nakakatanga kayo ie!!

Magbigay lang kami ng advise na wag na huwag muna kau basta basta mgbabayad in case na may magalok sa inyo ng kahit anung isurance policy from AXA unless nabasa nyo ung full contract..kasi once na makapagbayad na kau ng initial premium di nyo na rin kagad marerefund even may window time 15 days na pwde refund kung papacancel. Kasi sa case namin pinacancel n lng nmin even n di nmin mrefund..atleast di gnun kalaki nwala smin..kasi ung nabasa ko na full contract imbes n kumita pera at end of 5 years or 10 years..parang nalugi ka pa kasi may automatic na cost insurance charges na di sasabihin ng agent at first.

DO NOT AVAIL THEIR HMO/ HEALTH CARE…

DO NOT AVAIL THEIR HMO/ HEALTH CARE ACCESS. It doesn't serve its purpose as HMO. If you are sick, you would need to send them an email asking for LOA (Letter of Approval) 5 days prior to your scheduled check up. That means, if you are sick today, you need to wait for 5 days before you can have a check up. Either your sickness will get worst or (hopefully) you will get well. Now, when you have your check up and the doctor requests for a CBC or whatever lab test, you need to send an email AGAIN for approval. Every service that you need to avail has to have an approval! It would have been okay if the approval arrives within the day, but you have to wait a minimum of 5 days! It doesn't make sense for an HMO when you can't even use it right away when your ill.

Reminder

Please follow up on the status of your insurance. Nagbayad ako 5 years sa Axa. From 2013 to 2018. Hindi ko naicontinue ng nagstop ako ng 2018 to 2023 ( financial problem) . Pero pinapacheck ko via email ung amount value. Hanggang sa magpunta ako ng metrobank para magtanong sa agent. 10 years pla ang babayaran ko. At kapag naubos ang laman nun na 18k na un close ang policy ko (which is pagkakaintindi ko insured ka na) jusko . Eh ang nabayarann ko na almost 80k. Imagine inubos ang laman. Pwede ko naman ipagpatuloy. Kaso ayoko na. Ilang taon ako naagrereach out sa agent ko. Walang reply basta makabili ka n ng unit nila. Pabayaan ka n nila jan. Walanh update update update. Sayang ang pera. Isa lang naman akong sumaasahod na miminum, pinariority ko ung pagbabbayad ng axa na yan. Tapos ganyan.
Kung kukuha kayo ng insurance. Ifollow up nio lagi anng status, kung hindi nio na makontak ang maagaling na agent na binentahan kayo. Dumerecho na kayo sa office nila. Maka 6k commission lang cla sayo. Babye na.

Denied my claim even if my papers were complete. Will never buy insurance from AxA again

my trip to bahamas was cancelled due to unsafe weather but this company refused to reimburse even if my papers are complete.

In my HONEST OPINION…. , buying insurance from this company is an utter waste of money! It refused my travel insurance claim worth just thousands of pesos.. what more if your claim is life insurance worth millions?!

Just read all the bad reviews here. Anyone who gives this company a good review is probly an insurance agent.

BEWARE!!!

I invested my hard earned money 10 years ago, relying on the promised minimum ROI of 4%p.a. Instead of realizing 200K for 10 years, my 500K is now down to P448.000.15. Its very depressing that I should've have taken the time to read reviews first. People should be warned.

AXA will take your life's savings

AXA takes advantage of the sick by making maneuvers so that you will no longer get anything from them. So what happens to the monthly premiums that you've been religiously paying from your hard earned money? They STEAL it from you!#@ Why take advantage of the oppressed and defenseless??

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

One of the worst travel insurance company in Philippines!! They sell a travel insurance with covid included BUT WHEN YOU DENIED BOARDING A SHIP BECAUSE OF POSITIVE COVID TEST THEN THEY DON'T REIMBURSE THE TRAVEL EXPENSES!!! IS THIS A SICK JOKE AXA??? 😡😡😡

AXA HMO is a MONEYMAKER.

AXA HMO is a MONEYMAKER.. WOrst HMO, need approval everytime you need a check up. I just came from ER , treatment is not covered because I'm not yet a member for a year, so it means in able to use my HMO I need to renew it!!! No to AXA health insurance..

THIS IS A SCAM!

Please please please. To save being scammed. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH AXA. Since we got the hmo, we experienced the worse! We can't have ourselves check up, you need to have approval everytime. I was also brought to the emergency room at dawn and no one from axa is not answering to have me approved. I ended up paying. They said the reimbursement will take 24 hours. But no. Until now from nov 20, 2022. I have not received any refund. This company is a scam!!! What a waste! I dont even understand why agents still sell this crappy company! Oh well, because its all about the money. Do your research first. Jeez!

Warning do not sign in AXA

I was at AXA in Makati it was quite an experience as so many customers were queuing up to withdraw their savings and were completely disappointed and furious. What AXA promises are empty promises, they show nice pictures with happy families, mother and child, and illustrations of false high returns, which make gullible investors pay for bad dispositions and incompetent AXA advisers. While I visited AXA, angry investors were queuing to save the last money, loss of 50% and AXA running from any responsibility, be careful and think before you sign with AXA, they throw your money out the window. A customer at the desk next door had lost P500,000 over 10 years of savings, over half gone, it's a scandal AXA takes no responsibility.

Health Insurance

I applied for a health max insurance last month and few days after my application declined because of my health condition which is I have a polyp in my gallbladder which is it's been 5 months already and I told my agent that maybe they thought I'll go for a surgery which is my condition is only benign and not dangerous. And my doctor told me no need for surgeries. I don't get it, people like me want to cover for health insurance don't want to help and I'm so very disappointed with AXA. Look for other insurance who will surely cover you.

Customer service is the worst!!

Customer service is the worst!!! I want to withdraw/cancel my policy because no one has been assisting me. My request is simple. I just want to be able to see my receipts. I can do this online but my account doesn't show any receipts. But my agent hasn't been helpful, and customer service agents are always so dismissive. It's so frustrating! Sometimes I feel like crying just thinking of how annoyed I am because of the wasted money. Stay away from AXA like it's a disease!!!!!

HORRIBLE

HORRIBLE! We've been trying to withdraw our investment ever since Feb. 2022. First the agent lost our docs pero kept on telling us nasa head office na. Followed it up with him again and again. Then I called head office in April to verify if docs were submitted na wala naman daw. We were told to submit na lang sa HO through email and they will call the owner to verify. This was May 2022. They did process and called up ONCE and hindi nila nakausap dahil senior na ang owner and the caregiver didn't wake her up. I called AXA again immediately ng May 2022 to tell them to call and nabilin na sa caregiver to wake her up. NO CALLS. Called up again ng June na and customer service said pending sa payment center. Then afterwards rejected pala informing daw the owner who is the senior citizen thru SMS even if may submitted AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE. I already told them all other communication is through me, AUTHORIZED representative kasi SENIOR NA and does not actively use a cellphone. IF THEY HAD CALLED A SECOND TIME ALL OF THIS COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED! It is now JUNE 30 and now ko lang na laman na rejected when I called again today. Reason was hindi na tama ang signature ni owner. Policy was taken more than years before. OF COURSE NAGBABAGO ANG SIGNATURE LALO NA SENIOR NA, which they would have discovered and understood IF THEY HAD CALLED FOR A SECOND TIME! TERRIBLE! PERA MO NA HINDI MO PA MAKUHA!
Worse is WALANG MAKAUSAP NA ACCOUNT OFFICER NG AXA! BACK AND FORTH LANG SA CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WILL BE ELEVATED TO THEIR SUPERVISOR! NO ONE TO TALK TO WHO CAN MAKE DECISIONS ON HOW TO PROCEED THAT IS APPROPRIATE TO ANY UNIQUE SITUATION! Now the customer service said to stand by kasi someone will call me. Its almost an hour wala pa rin. Hanggang kelan ang stand by na yan!
