Dear all,
I would give a higher rating; however, I must tell my sad story.
Barbour Abi's representatives were swift to call me after my inquiry and sweetly seduced me into giving up on other platforms like RatedPeople and join with them instead.
Their presentation made it seem too good to be true.
Bearing in mind that I told them repeatedly that I am but a small contractor and my company is on the small size.
They made it sound like I would get much success from their company's platform with direct access to the project managers and architects/clients for the projects presented on their site but the sad reality proved them wrong.
I was told by each person I contacted that they prefer to work with large companies.
Now, after not winning a penny, they left me with a hole in my pocket of nearly £5,000 affecting my business tremedously and with a bullying collection agency breathing on my neck, threatening with liquidation of my company.
I honestly think that there is no such thing as honesty in this company, at least from a sales perspective and they should stop luring small businesses like mine with their sweet seductions.
They certainly are good salesmen who know how to obtain what they want.
They were supposed to contact me within the first 6 weeks or so to see how I get on, but never did I receive such call; they were supposed to return my calls when I asked to speak with a manager or director and pull my contract out but instead they were only emailing for advise on why I stopped the direct debit.
It's sad, but I would recommend any small business to carefully consider and to ask for a trial period instead, thing which they did not offer me.. and to balance things and ensure they won't end up in my shoes.
I am still paying to this day in installments.. but.. is it fair at all??
I am sorry dear Barbour Abi.. you've deceived me.

Really chuffed with the service received and the product too! As a new customer, I wanted to find out how best to get the system to work for me, rather than me having to work how the system pushed me to. Lynsey quickly booked a training session with my colleague and I and showed us exactly what we wanted and how to automate a lot of stuff too - very happy - I'd give 10 stars if I could but there's a cap at 5 stars!

I can't believe this company has just got good reviews, makes me think this is suspicious.
We (tried to) cancel after the first year due to having inaccurate data, we were working on a job and the contractor (our client) was completely different on Barbour ABI.
Anyway, we cancelled 2 days after the renewal, they charged us a full year's worth of service, we are currently taking this legal with an aggressive debt collection company which they passed this to. Avoid at all costs.

We’re an international organisation that sells security fencing to the worlds most iconic sites.
Our UK operation is still in its infancy and we looked to Barbour, and their competitors, for support in streamlining our lead generation and project identification.
Barbour by far exceeded expectation and the support we were given by Tim Maddocks has been second to none. For the small initial investment we have gone for Tim has treated us like I imagine he treats his highest paying accounts.
I cannot rate Tim and Barbour highly enough.
