Ordered some shoes , they are from china not uk based they take ages to come and they are cheap and sizing don’t fit , so it take 3 emails to return they keep offering 20% back , I said no I want to return, so they give you the returns address and postage cost £24.80 same price I paid for shoes , so just going to take the 20% money back , just a scam

Don't buy from them
I'm sorry, but they should be ashamed of themselves pretending to be a famous brand and selling counterfeits of especially terrible quality. These shoes aren't even made of faux leather, but some kind of paper. They bear no resemblance to the photo on your website, and they have nothing in common with orthopedic shoes. These shoes are the same quality as those worn in coffins. And I'm sure they'll fall apart after just one wear. They are deceiving people and selling this junk. The cost of these sandals is no more than $5. 🤬🤬🤬🤬
P. S. I am not gonna remove my review, because this company website is using your brand name, just swapping the words and your anti-fraud department should do a better job of removing sites like this from the media platform. They should work with Google and Facebook platforms.

I can find no record of you on our side, and the details do not fit how we operate: we take payment in pounds and ship within the United Kingdom only, not to Canada, where your profile is based. As some reviewers have pointed out themselves, a number of the reviews here are meant for a separate company with almost the same name, Clark Bennett, based in Canada, which we are regularly confused with.

So Bennett & Clarke - CHINA (not london !!)
So Bennett & Clarke - London ……… is actually based in China - delivery times are a complete lie - I ordered shoes a week before holiday - now on holiday and just got an email from them to say that they are with the airline !!!!
So when they do finally arrive - after I get back from holiday, I won’t be able to return them

Their returns policy is a scam
Their returns policy is a scam. The clothing I ordered was poor quality, but the only way to return it is to pay postage back to China, which they estimated would cost twice the price of the item. All they offer is a 20 percent discount.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY
Even though they look like they're trying to be reasonable in the response below, the best they have offered is 30% off the price.

Received trainers very poor quality I…
Received trainers very poor quality I contacted the company although polite not helpful. Returns are extortionate as they are returned to china.They do not offer a full refund unless returned to china in the given period. They only offer 20% refund on the total price Especially for something not fit for purpose anyway. Really mega disappointed and would not recommend buying from this company.

Do not buy from here..advertised as Bennett and Clarke London...they are nothing to do with London..they are shipped from China and are primark standard at best...paid £38 for fake Birkenstocks..which were apparently reduced from £80...absolute false advertising..also took 2 weeks to come..ridiculous

Please do not use this company.
Despite the London name, this is a company operating out of China. Delivery of shoes took 3 weeks, poor quality and ill fitting. When I tried to return the items they waste time offering all sort of discounts off next product or a 20% refund and keep the items. Eventually tell you can be refunded but have to be returned, tracked to China. Estimated cost €35.

Ordered from what was labelled as Clarke Bennett Toronto only to get a product from China. The sandals which claimed to be Orthopedic looked like beautiful quality shoes in the pictures turned out to be extremely poor quality and they are definitely not orthopaedic. They are poorly stitched plastic shoes with no support or grip. Buyers be warned.

Avoid this scam company who are not what they say they are. I purchased a pair of shoes that are awful cheap material used and are fit for the bin nothing like the pictures . Scammers and should be investigated.

Would not recommend at all.
Ordered some shoes specifically for an abroad wedding, they didnt arrive in time. Contacted the company regarding returning the item as the shoes were unopened.
They made it difficult to request a full refund, offering me different return options rather than listening to what I had requested which was a full refund. Seemed like delay tactics to get closer to the 30 day return deadline.
Once they finally listened to me they advised that I would have to return the product to China myself which would cost more more than the product to do so.
Will not be ordering from them again.

We ordered 2 pair of mens clogs for…
We ordered 2 pair of mens clogs for around 30 pounds and they sent us very cheap quality creased clogs. The shoes in a plastic bag, not in any shoe box at all. One pair of them came squished, with the leather material creased. The same show had a very cheep quality undersole where the sole was all bent and curved. We tried to get a full refund but the company said that they will give 10% of our purchase back and that if we want a full refund we have to pay around 20 pounds to get them shipped back to China. Overall very poor quality customer service and I wont be buying other things at all from them if this is the quality of shoes/clogs they sell.

I placed an order and, several hours later, I still had not received a confirmation email. The only proof I had that my order was successful was a screenshot I took during checkout.
I also tried calling the customer service number listed on the website, but I was unable to get through. I then emailed the company to cancel my order, but I have not received a response.
One of my biggest concerns is that I believed I was ordering from a London/UK-based company. After placing my order, I discovered that the business appears to operate from China, which was not clear to me at the time of purchase. Had I known this before ordering, I would not have gone ahead with the purchase, especially as I needed the slippers for an upcoming trip.
Based on my experience so far, I cannot recommend this company. I hope this review helps others do their research before placing an order. If I could give no star I would
