I felt that I was actually listened to without feeling judged, the process was quick and simple though i wasnt rushed!!

1 Star – Poor service and unacceptable delays
I would strongly caution anyone considering Care ADHD through the Right to Choose pathway.
I was diagnosed with ADHD on 30 September and was provided with estimated waiting times for titration. I am now significantly beyond those timelines and still waiting to begin treatment, with no clear communication or explanation.
What makes this particularly frustrating is that my brother, who went through the exact same process with the same provider and was diagnosed later on 11 November, has already been contacted and is now starting titration within the expected timeframe.
This raises serious concerns about how patients are being managed. It appears there is no consistent or fair system in place, and cases can simply be overlooked. In fact, earlier in my journey I was already “missed” once and had to be apologised to — yet the same issue now seems to be happening again.
The lack of organisation and transparency is unacceptable, especially given the impact ADHD has on day-to-day life. Delays in treatment are not minor inconveniences; they have a real and ongoing effect on wellbeing, work, and relationships.
At the very least, I would expect:
• Clear and accurate waiting time expectations
• A fair and consistent queue system
• Proactive communication when delays occur
Unfortunately, none of these standards have been met in my experience.
Until this is addressed, I cannot recommend this service.

Endless wait with 0 communication throughout
Honestly, the audacity of Care ADHD to ask for a review of their service when I’ve been waiting for 6 months on titration with 0 updates is astounding.
I picked Care ADHD because it claimed that wait times wouldn’t be as long as other providers. I started the process in May 2025, waited until October to get diagnosed and then … nothing? Actually, not nothing, they sent me the same form to fill in about 6 times – I think at this point everyone working there knows my blood pressure readings.
Last I heard was a standard template email mid-December 2025 saying they’re aware I’d been waiting for a while but there is a waitlist (like yeah?) and it should get better in January 2026.
It’s now March 2026 and I’m still waiting for any kind of news, but I’m glad they value reviews over actually providing service.
Only gave this 2 stars because the diagnosis came through fairly quickly.

Very prompt issue of diagnostic questionnaires, easy to follow instructions for completion and what comes next. Assessment appointment swiftly followed completion and assessment achieved an outcome where advice could be sought thereafter.

Care ADHD provided a smooth route to a diagnosis.
Following a discussion with my GP, I chose to seek an assessment with Care ADHD via a private route. Although the amount of form filling can be overwhelming, they are all paramount tools used in the diagnostic process. If something was missing, Care ADHD were prompt in making me aware of this. Once I’d done this, I received an assessment date for the following week. This was undertaken by Bronwyn Evans who made it feel like more of a guided conversation than an interrogation. She was warm, understanding and reassuring and made me feel as at ease as is possible. I received a diagnosis at the end of the assessment and was advised of the next steps, including the potential for management with medication. I received my diagnosis report within several working days. This was a comprehensive breakdown of each topic we’d covered and included direct quotes from myself. In addition, plenty of resources were provided including a covering letter to give educators or employers. I finally have some long awaited answers and can go a little easier on myself!

ADHD Assessment
Had my assessment with Pooja and she was great. Really friendly and easy to talk to, which made the whole thing way less stressful. She asked some really good questions and felt genuinely engaging throughout. Definitely a 5-star experience, couldn’t ask for a better clinician

Amazing process from start to finish
Amazing process from start to finish. Very speedy from referral to assessment. All communications clear and precise. Assessor was extremely nice and helpful.

Awful communication and inaccurate waiting times
The wait between referral and diagnosis was reasonably short but following diagnosis communication has simply vanished. When I signed up the waiting period for titration was 12 weeks. When I was diagnosed it was 12-16 weeks and now the estimate has vanished entirely. I’ve been waiting 18 weeks with zero updates and I’ve been told to not to bother contacting them before it hits 20 weeks. For any other conditions, a policy of diagnosing people then refusing to treat them for months on end would be considered a total failure of service.
It feels a lot like they’re prioritising getting as many people in the door as they can to obtain funding, and once you’re in too deep to go anywhere else you get abandoned. Complaints regarding their lack of communication receive little more than a generic copy/pasted email of excuses.
Don’t trust any waiting times they publish, go somewhere else even if their waiting times make them look good because they’re totally meaningless.

I’m a bit disappointed.
The initial process started well, and I felt listened to and cared for, with things progressing positively.
However, during my assessment, I felt it was quite rushed. The practitioner reminded me several times that “it’s just one hour,” which made me feel unable to fully express everything I needed to. When I later received my report, I noticed several inconsistencies and details that I had not said, which I believe may be due to the use of AI-generated notes, as this was mentioned during the appointment. Although these were later amended and corrected, it was still concerning.
Following this, I was sent incorrect documents on two separate occasions after requesting amendments, which was frustrating as I needed them for work and Access to Work support.
While I do feel that the clinician providing my care is supportive, I am concerned about the overall service. I am currently close to running out of my medication, with only around one day remaining. I had brought my titration appointment forward specifically to avoid this situation, as I was advised that my prescriptions would be issued sooner; however, this has not been the case.
As a result, I have had to pay £20 for an urgent prescription, yet I have not received any clear communication regarding when this will be issued or how long it will take to arrive.
Overall, I do feel that the team cares, but it seems that due to the volume of new patients being taken on, existing patients may not be receiving the level of care they should. This has led to a number of avoidable mistakes and communication errors.
I am grateful to the staff for their support and for helping me receive my diagnosis; however, I am disappointed with my overall experience and would appreciate this being reviewed.

I feel like I got bait and switched
I feel like I got bait and switched by the waiting times listed when I chose this provider for RTC. The wait for diagnosis was within expectations but have now been waiting for months for titatration, and I no longer trust the updated waiting times that promise an appointment in April-July. It feels awful to get diagnosed and then are faced with a waiting list for medicine that seems to grow rather than shrink.
Supportive and relaxed..
Pooja was very helpful during the assessment. What could have been a stressful time was very relaxed and open. Alot of care attention was taken from the Care ADHD team.
Communication is awful..
Communication is awful..! I hear nothing for months. Had assessment and diagnosis almost 12 months ago, no medication or help, nothing. No way to contact anybody. Feel helpless…
