I have used Comdata/Fintwist Mastercard for 2 and a half years. I have had 3 cards compromised. On my 4th now. I have $490.11 in my acct but I can't get the money from them.
Been 3 weeks now and still getting the run around. Can't understand the Customer Service Reps and just keep getting lied to.
I NEED MY MONEY!!! quit being a corrupt company and do what is right! REDICULOUS

Worst card in history. 100% no way to get cash without paying fee. Use as atm pin, fee. Everything is a fee. Its also mastercard which many mer hants dont use, Costco for example. Withdraw 20 bucks st atm that dont charge, dont worry this card will. Its basically robbery. This bank is nothing but crooks. 100% will never do business with them

I am paid for plasma by Octapharma with a Comdata card.
The fee structure is all encompassing and outrageous. Very predatory.
You can’t add it to payment processors like PayPal. It is classed as a prepaid.
The card doesn’t support Apple Pay.
The online portal looks to be from the 90s. In theory you can add a bank account to direct deposit into, but it just errors out.
The customer service is a horrendous maze. Corpay seems to own FINTWIST, and FINTWIST seems to own Comdata.
I’ve spoken to all three and every one of them points the finger at someone else.
The Comdata customer support was nasty, just some snide patronizing Indian guy who actively tries to make you feel like an idiot for even asking for help. Every time you ask something, he laughs a bit before responding, like he is correcting an idiot child.
I should also mention that during the customer support survey at the end, where you rate the service with the touch tone keypad, you can hear him still on the line making the selections for you. Slimy.
FINTWIST and Corpay were pleasant, but not necessarily able to help with setting up direct deposit.
It might be just me, but it feels like this experience I had was intentionally crafted to frustrate me into giving up so I’d just pay the fees.
Something like 50 cents for a purchase of any size. A soda out of a vending machine for $2 would effectively increase the price by 25%.
Appalling. You’d think collecting interest on deposited funds and ordinary invisible percentage-based transaction fees, charged to the merchant, would be enough.

The hidden fees are crazy with this card service. Debit card surcharges are illegal. the Durbin Amendment of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. They send your call to some Indian person not located inside of the United States trying to argue the laws of the United States. They also stated that all-point atms don't surcharge you but they do surcharge you. You bring up that all point is also surcharging you then all of a sudden the customer service representative says that they never advertised that all-point doesn't surcharge.

Comdata is, without question, the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. They definitely illegally take money from your account. After 3 hours in their automated phone maze, I finally reached a person. I want everyone to understand that this is absolutely true: the customer service rep I talked to literally laughed at me and said "I'm not going to help you" as soon as I started speaking to him. Then he told me to f- off and hung up on me. This is not a legitimate business. It's a criminal enterprise.

Where do I start?, I’ve been working with the company for years and ever since I’ve started with them. They have used Comdata. They are the most complicated most non-making sense corporation that I have seen in my entire career as a professional truck driver and I’ve been out here for almost 20 years.. on a grand scale, if it was something that had to be done on paper sure and if it had time for things to process, it would make sense of what they do, But it seems as if they’ve taken the role into the civilian population and they are trying to be a corporation that handles typical every day drivers and employees that use this system of Comdata. If a Comdata check is written wrong or a mistake is made it takes almost an act of God and several people to intervene to correct the problem and several phone calls later back-and-forth that’s ridiculous. One cannot simply take money that is paid to you. That is your money and transferred to your bank account. You have to wait several days that is such an inconvenience.. Because if you need money right there and then it ain’t gonna happen on top of that 85% of the time their Comdata card somehow becomes magnetized or a magnetized and it’s useless. So many ATMs out here nationally don’t even recognize Comdata a card and they won’t work so if you have money that you immediately need, you can’t get to it. You always have to go to a bank.. And when you get to a bank, they may or may not treat you correctly because it’s a credit card, not strictly made out to me as a debit card and it has to be pulled out like a cash advance when you’re not advancing any money from anywhere it’s your money. I don’t think this corporation in my opinion should be out here. They should’ve stuck to million billion dollar accounts and stayed out of the civilian aspect of the business.

I am so fkn mad at this stupid company! They constantly tell me the wrong information! I swear none of them even know how to do their jobs! Right before christmas I had a scammer steal all of my money from me. I was hysterical. I looked down at my phone and by the time I realized it this person had stolen all of my money before I could even do anything! I call my bank to tell them and they tell me that it was under the name Javon Cross on PayPal. It wasn't under my PayPal account it was under his. I called paypal numerous times to try and get them to help me with this situation and they can't. Comdata told me I had to wait 7 days and call back to file a dispute so that's what I did. Today I got an email saying that they needed further information because I've used paypal before. ARE YOU FKN PPL STUPID?! it's literally not even under my name! I did not send this money and it was not under my account. It would be my name if I made these purchases! There is no reason that I should not get my money back whenever these purchases were not made under my name! Are you people seriously this lazy that all you look at is that it's from paypal and completely ignore the fact that these purchases were made under the name "Javon Cross"! It was devastating having all of my money stolen right before christmas! And of course this stupid card company can't help me with any of it because they are practically useless! Any bank would have immediately seen it wasn't me and given it back! But none of these people know how to do their jobs! Any time I call needing help with anything they tell me the wrong thing because none of them even know how to speak English let alone understand how to do their job!

Extremely Disappointed with Comdata - Unresolved Fraudulent Transactions and Terrible Customer Service
I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience using Comdata’s Fintwist Payroll Card, and I feel compelled to share my story in hopes of warning others about the lack of transparency and poor customer service.
I was an election candidate during the most recent campaign, and I received a direct deposit onto my Comdata Fintwist payroll card on October 31st. On November 2nd, while I was campaigning at an early voting center, I received notifications of several unauthorized transactions totaling $1,300 on my card. Naturally, I was distressed and immediately called Comdata’s customer service.
The first issue arose when I was asked for my card number, which I did not have at the moment. In the midst of a stressful situation, I struggled to recall the number, but eventually managed to provide it. I also filed a police report, reporting the card as stolen.
Customer service advised me that I would need to wait 7 days for the transaction to process before I could file a dispute, which I did on November 11th. At this point, I was told I would need to wait an additional 10 business days for an investigation to be conducted before any refund could be issued. This extended delay was already troubling.
On November 23rd, I followed up with Comdata, and was told to call back on November 25th. When I called this morning, I was informed that my dispute had been denied and that an email with details had been sent. However, I never received any email or notification of this decision. When I inquired about contacting the fraud department directly, I was told they did not have a phone number and could only be reached via email. I was informed that they would submit a request for the email to be "resent," but at this point, I am left with no clear answers.
This entire experience has been an enormous source of frustration. I feel like I am being ignored, and the lack of proper communication and accountability is deeply concerning. As a working individual, this money is critical to my survival, and Comdata’s failure to handle my claim with the urgency it deserves is both unprofessional and unacceptable.
Given the lack of resolution and the poor handling of this situation, I would strongly advise others to think twice before using Comdata’s services. I am determined to continue pursuing this matter, as I need my funds returned, but I am thoroughly disappointed by how this has been managed.
If you are considering Comdata as a financial service provider, I suggest exploring other options. Based on my experience, I would not trust them to protect my money or provide adequate customer support.

I wrote a check to my pilot car for the wrong amount. I called Comdata and they asked to verify my identity to transfer to a new check by giving them a landline phone number to call. I do not have a landline I can use. Nobody does! This is stealing money! Would avoid using these scammers at all cost.

If I could I would give this company zero stars. I called to get a replacement card 2 weeks ago and still have not received it. In addition, I had an unauthorized charge to dispute also still has not been reversed or even updated me. The customer service is abysmal, of the roughly 10 representatives that I spoke to throughout this unnecessary long process 2 were competent. Of the 8 reps who were awful none of them asked for my ticket number. Even when I asked why won't you ask for my ticket number so can you can help me. They would not. This is awful, this company should not exist let alone handle people's money. Go the other way!!!!

They trying to take my money I had a cancel transaction that was returned to my card 20 days ago they refused to put the money back. The supervisor finally told me I need to have the merchant file a claim for my money to go back to my back. I will give this group a 1 because have it set up activation of a combats card. Have had the card for over a month with no activation pin and all you talk to is a computer and can not enter the reference number to get any where so there com data can shove their card up their ass and keep if you cannot do the job in person then you don’t deserve to have a company like. Still can’t get an activation pin and have almost $70.00 on it so there fore I call that theft of services and I will be looking to file a multi million dollar law suit since you can’t get your job done right then you don’t deserve to be in buisness

One overarching thing for the people who have this card is none of us are wealthy. We are working class. Either donating plasma for gas money or working in service work where are peanuts pay goes on a comdata card. Nothing designed for us ever works well. Then the companies we are forced to rely on hire a poor joe like us to respond to all the criticism they get so the company is completely insulated.

Criminals, they steal your money!!! NEW OWNER OPERATORS, STAY AWAY!! They are in it for themselves, not for you. I use TAFS as a factoring company, they suck too, tafs use comdata for payment.. don’t use either!! They all are scammers and should be out of business.. do not use these people, for you own good!! I am an owner operator and stuck in a contract for 6more months. I will not be doing any business until the 6mo is up.. their contract is for 12months.. find a non recourse factoring company with no contract or a month to month contact. If a broker doesn’t pay, they come after you instead of the Broker. DO NOT USE THEM, i wish i would’ve read the reviews beforehand

Run! This company refuses to transfer funds, refuses to do direct deposit, is almost impossible to reach on the phone, and when you do they act as if letting you access your money is a favor. Terrible terrible service. I did not choose this company as a payroll option. I was forced by the company I worked for. Nothing but terrible from day one. Fought to get my money into my personal bank to pay my bills for 2 months. As soon as I was able, I emptied my account via ATM. Now I have like 32 dollars in there and they've won't let me access it. Very sketchy company. They are one of the reasons I quit the company I was working for. It's MY money not yours comdata! Run Run Run. And watch out. Lots of people on BBB saying they let their money get stolen off the card. Takes an act of congress for them to resolve it too.
