Warranty not worth the paper it is written on!

I bought our Cosantino Silestone counters in 2011 through Home Depot, who only sells the product and facilitates the installation. They do NOT warranty the product. I love the counters! However, the 15 year limited warranty from Cosantino given at the time of purchase is NOT WORTH THE PAPER IT IS WRITTEN ON! It covers only "manufacturing defects." ...not a crack that develops later, stretching 6-8" out from the sink! The crack was, according to the installer, not the result of improper installation OR heat! ....so, it must be a weakness in the product, i.e., a manufacturing defect! End of conversation!

Cracked counter.. don't buy from them

Just like the other reviews say.. cosentino does not stand behnd their product. we had a Silestone counter installed in August and it cracked shortly after. it cracked on an area that has very little use and salesperson /installer confirmed install and substrate was perfectly done and that this was most likely a production issue with the lot. Cosentino basically said sorry not our problem. but thanks for your money..

Most expensive, least durable and awful customer service

Really poor, disreputable company. Bought £8k Silestone worktops, which cracked on the corner of induction hob <18mth after installation.

When the came to inspect they stated 'heat stress' was caused by hot pans - Joke as it is clearly not suitable for a induction hob. Even the installer said they should have stood behind the claim!

They market the product as 'designed for life' and provide a 25year warranty which is worthless.

How thoroughly disappointing - usually you can trust products at the higher end of the price bracket, but not Consentino & Silestone. Genuinely avoid this product

Waited 2.5 years for a response

Thank you for your response 2.5 years after I submitted my review. I said what I needed to say in the review below, and as I didn't have a response, I decided to tell all my friends and business contacts who expressed an interest in having their kitchens refitted about our bad experience. Hopefully some decided, based on that to use a different supplier. I just can't be bothered with such conduct and level od service.

We hadnew kitchen fitted in 2018 with a Sensa granite top with a 15 year guarantee. Less than 4 years later I discovered a small chip on the granite. I sent them photos as it was a very unusual chip mark. Their response was that, that type of chip happens with natural stone and that there is no guarantee on that. It was never mentioned to us that something like can happen to natural stone. If we had known about that we would have selected some other product. Really disappointed.

They use fake imagery to showcase their…

They use fake imagery to showcase their products(3D with wrong patterns). Ordered a counter top for 5000 euro that I have to throw out, ive demanded that they bring down the fake images and give me a discount for a new counter top. They said its not their problem if I didnt bother to leave the country to double-check if the photos was actually photos or a 3D-rendering with the wrong pattern. So instead of getting a new order of 15 000 euro and taking responsibility, they are getting an anti-ambassador for their brand and will 100% lose clients. But they don't seem to care. Some companies are just to big to bother.

Salve,nell ottobre del 2019 ho acqistato top sileston miami sp 2 cm,a distanza di 1 anno circa è partito un crepo dal vertice sinistro del piano cottura.ovviamente la garanzia di 25 anni non copre i crepi,ma solo le macchie.meglio altri produttori,non rispondono neanche alle mail.

Spent 6k on worktops
There is shade variation and some rings in one section of worktop. They are telliing me it is not covered under warranty as I have caused the problems by using an abrasive cleaner. I have only used liquid and a micro fibre cloth. There are no scratches around the affected areas. Stay away from this company. The warranty is worthless.

Read the fine print.

Read the fine print. Spent almost 10K on countertop, which cracked less than a year in. Warranty (25 years or so they say) doesn't cover cracks.

Just lost 10K.

Not worth the expensive countertop. No customer service whatsoever. Waste of time and money. Go elsewhere.

Awful

Awful. I bought 2 integrity sinks from them and several worktops.
After less than a year the bottom of both sinks are pitting. The reason they are pitting is that the sinks cannot withstand the hot water, which is 40 cm above. The sinks are not fit for purpose.
Their customer service is diabolical. They choose to not understand the problem, haven't sent anyone round and tell me to clean the sinks. Clearly you can’t do that when the problem is pitting and the surface has come off.
