I was considering 4 stars but considering the context of these services in the UK, I doubt I would have a better experience with any other company. The doctors themselves could not be better, friendly and supportive. Extended my appointment to ensure they got a full picture. I jumped at the opportunity to get a faster appointment 2 hours travel from me, glad this was an option presented to me. Email and text communications werent always crystal clear but were generally good, in the end I received relatively quick and friendly diagnosis through NHS right to choose. Thanks to the team.

Great service. Everyone incredibly friendly. The Reception staff, those undertaking the assessments in person and those completing online assessments.

Every assessment (for our child's combined ADHD and ASD assessments) were all very thorough and nothing seemed rushed at all. We attended in person for the initial part, where my daughter was assessed, it was a very calm and relaxing environment. This followed some weeks later with 2 video calls (approx. 1 week apart) where my husband and I were questioned in depth about our daughter. One was a 2-hour video call (with a break in between), the second an hour long. This didn't feel like too much, I appreciated the time taken to get a rounded understanding of her.

We received results approx. 1 month later via video call where we were also given advice and recommendations. At this stage, we were sent a letter with the diagnosis which meant we could pass this onto school etc and the full report followed approx. 4 weeks later. Again, very thorough, with lots of information that we are able to provide to school etc to fully support her and highlight her behaviours outside of school that we maybe weren't able to articulate or understand well enough to realise it was worth sharing prior.

Note, our daughter (who was 10 at the time) is great at masking. I had my concerns that they wouldn't be able to detect anything, especially as she told me that she will (in her own words), "Just act normal, so they won't be able to tell anything anyway!" That was the first time I was made aware that she knew she masked at all!

We recently had our child assessed by Evolve Psychology and I can’t thank them enough for the support and professionalism throughout the whole process. From the very beginning, the team made us feel heard, understood, and supported.

The assessment itself was incredibly thorough, everything was very detailed, clear, and gave us so much insight—not just confirming the autism diagnosis, but helping us understand our child on a much deeper level.

The whole experience was so positive and reassuring during what can often feel like an overwhelming time. Evolve Psychology provided guidance, kindness, and expertise every step of the way. I’m so grateful for everything they’ve done for our family and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone seeking answers or support for their child.

Just to add to my previous review...after chasing the report and getting told it wasnt a priority as they hadn't realised I was a private client they finally sent it.
Not only were family members names wrong, not just misspelled, completely wrong names, my they mentioned my one year old daughter. My daughter is 12!
I find it hard to trust someone's opinion on my child when they don't seem to know his nana who basically co parents with me, name or his sisters age.
Let down every step of the way.

My experience with Evolve has been absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Initially, I approached them for an ADHD assessment for my child. However, after a discussion with the SEN teacher at school, it was suggested that my child might be presenting traits of both ADHD and Autism (AuDHD).

When I brought this up during the assessment with Charlotte, she listened carefully and agreed that some of what we discussed did point towards Autism as well. She clearly explained my options: either pause the ADHD assessment to convert it into a combined ADHD and Autism assessment, or proceed with ADHD now and complete a separate Autism assessment later. I chose to pause and pursue the combined assessment.

Charlotte provided clear instructions on what needed to be done, and I immediately contacted our GP to request an Autism referral. The receptionist at Evolve was also amazing—she managed to rearrange our face-to-face appointment into a combined assessment within just two days. Her efficiency and support were truly appreciated.

We then travelled to Exeter for the assessment, where we met with Becca and another lovely clinician (whose name I unfortunately forgot). They were both absolutely fantastic throughout the session. My child was extremely anxious, but they kindly allowed me to be present at the beginning of the assessment to help settle them in. Their compassion and professionalism made all the difference.

From the psychologists to the admin staff, I genuinely cannot thank the entire Evolve team enough. They provided an exceptional level of care and support throughout what could have been a very stressful process. I’m so grateful for the understanding, flexibility, and dedication they showed us—an absolutely great service.

Highly recommended service from start of referral to outcome and diagnosis. Very professional but also put us at ease through the whole process. GP referral after I selected Right to Choose, complete an online form, Video assessment for history, face to face assessment and then video call to discuss outcome, followed by report in 6 weeks. My experience took 3 months to get ASD diagnosis amazing knowing how long other people have to wait. Resources materials sent to you too.

My experience with evolve from start to finish has been amazing. All the staff especially Leese have helped me and my son with his diagnosis. They made me feel very comfortable and they have been very helpful. We travelled to Exeter due to the wait times and the staff there was really nice and Pleasant towards my son. Our specialist Jennifer was perceptive and kind throughout the whole process as talking about your childs history and difficulties can be actually quite an emotional process. The staff at the centre in Harrogate were great, my daughter had various tests and found the experience fairly straightforward. At the end of the process when Jennifer went through the diagnosis outcome she spent a lot of time explaining the criteria, the evidence and the result in a very logical and understanding way. Communication with Evolve was good throughout the process. Overall, a big thank you to Jennifer and the rest of the team at Harrogate

The process was good and very detailed with Evolve Psychology and we feel like we were listened to throughout. The only thing I would say to help make improvements would be that we were given a list of the types of questions that would be asked for the first sessions. Our first session was over 2 hours long and trying to remember things that my child did when she was a baby was quite difficult at times, given that she is nearly 15 now! If a list of questions had been made available, these could have been discussed with other family members before the meetings. Apart from that though, all positive. Thank you Evolve :D

Been the most positive experience we could have asked for. They were friendly, approachable and was very good with my child. The staff were above and beyond for us and we are so grateful to them.

Absolute waste of time. They advertise jobs that don't exist. People who interview clearly have a profound lack of subject knowledge. It seems likely to me that they advertise jobs that they don't actually have to get the company publicity.

We had our son assessed via evolve and they couldn't have been more helpful and understanding. Communication was clear from the beginning of our journey and plenty time given during our feedback session to ask any questions we had surrounding the outcome. I would highly recommend this service to others in a similar position to ours.

Excellent, the lady who assessed my daughter was fantastic with her came out to greet us and immediately got down to my daughters level introduced herself my daughter who was extremely nervous holding my hand tightly I felt her instantly relax, the lady who I had the video call with was very understanding and empathic, both ladies were incredibly knowledgeable in their areas, I was expecting a 2 year wait for assessment but 6 months in got a call for the assessment, the lady said I would hear back in 4-6 weeks a week later I had an email to say the decision has been made and that a week later I’d have a video call with the conclusion on my daughters assessment, they offer lots of support and guidance great service will definitely recommend thankyou evolve

Such a great experience, evolve have been fantastic with my son, they made us feel calm and welcomed on our assessment. Hannah was amazing my son felt relaxed in her presence and was able to be himself. They are quick to answer any questions and offer support even after a diagnosis is made.
