Having injured my shoulder about 10 months before my first visit to Exeter Health Plus, I was suffering a lot of pain both in that area and in my neck and arm. It impacted quite significantly on my everyday life and I was desperate to get some help. Jack’s kind and friendly manner immediately put me at ease and he explained in detail the cause of my pain and the treatment he could offer. Throughout the course he was very caring, encouraging and realistic and after each session he gave me exercises to follow at home. I am extremely grateful to Jack for enabling me to return to normality and would not hesitate to recommend Exeter Health Plus.

I have been visiting Exeter Health Plus for just over 4 years. A friend recommended the practice she attended after I mentioned that I had fallen over 'nothing' several times. I was given a thorough assessment by Richard and he found that my body was lopsided hence me overbalancing and falling over. This was soon sorted out with a course of manipulation, massage and exercises. I have continued visiting the practice for regular adjustments to my spine (I haven't fallen over since) and to deal with any additional painful aches and strains, including a frozen shoulder from plastering a ceiling as am currently in the process of renovating my house and garden.
I have found the Team professional, approachable and caring and you are always greeted by name and a friendly smile as you walk in the front door. They listen, offer advice and are extremely helpful even to suggesting paint colours for my house. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needed their services.

I went to Exeter Health Plus for an issue with my achilles tendon, likely caused by poorly fitting cycling shoes. Over the course of around 8 weeks, not only did they completely resolve my achilles problem, but also fixed a long-standing issue I had with the ball of my other foot! Very professional team, from the highly efficient reception staff to the clean and hygienic treatment rooms. Quality physiotherapists using laser and shockwave technology that fixed something I had totally given up hope of ever healing. Thank you!

Ive been seeing Jack about my back. When i first starting going my back was extremely stiff.
Jack has been given me Sports massages to help with this. Also i been struggling with Runners knee He has shown me some stretches which helped. This lead me to completing a Marathon which a big achieve for me.

On going back issues due to over working it in all areas. Treatment has made a massive difference and I would recommend a visit to see if Jack can help .👍

I have been having treatment from Richard for a few years which helps to keep me mobile and free from aches and pains

After having years of back pain, sciatica and slipped discs, I went to Exeter Health Plus and have been out of pain for about 5 years now. Absolutely superb. The whole team is friendly and personable and I now go for regular maintenance sessions.

Have been seeing Richard for more than 6 years now. First went for worrying neck pains, after a course of treatment I was very much better and have continued monthly visits to keep things at bay. I can thoroughly recommend Richard and all his staff, they are kind,caring professionals.

I had been really struggling with my lower back for over 2 years and despite numerous visits to both a local physio and a chiropractor there was no improvement. It was then that I decided to look further afield for a lower back specialist and came across Richard and his company Exeter Chiropractor. Richard quickly diagnosed the specific issue, which had not been the case before, and after a course of treatment I was fixed, it was such a relief! I have never really suffered with a bad back and always thought the people that did made too much of it. However, one day completely out of the blue BANG, my back went. I’d been bending over to pick my Daughter up.

I left it a couple of weeks to see if the pain would pass. It didn’t. I then contacted Richard at Exeter Health plus. The treatment he gave immediately started to relieve my symptoms and eventually, after a course of treatment, my back was much better. I was so thankful for Richard’s treatment and advice.

I would have to say I was disappointed that Richard dropped my case during Covid and refused to see me as I wasn’t on his list, despite me having had a number of treatment sessions with him. I’m still none the wiser as to why Richard dropped my case, or why I was not on his list. I had assumed (wrongly) that having had treatment before Covid would have meant that I was on his list.

Anyway, the practice subsequently employed a Sports masseuse called Jack who I started to see instead. Jack is excellent and I would highly recommend Jack.

We have been going to Richard at exeterhealthplus for regular maintenance for the past 8 years, which has helped to keep us fit and mobile. As regular clients we felt it worth while to take advantage of the optional maintenance plan. Should we need an urgent appointment the request is always dealt with quickly and without fuss.

I have suffered with lower back pain for years, sometimes meaning i cant walk for days. Exeter Health Plus have helped correct the issues with my spine, and now I have no pain and can lead an active life. Treated for Frozen Shoulder by laser. Very successful. After a course of treatment full mobility returned and I am now pain free. Very professional with everything explained fully.

After a long period of severe upper leg and lower back pain I contacted Richard and was very pleased with his diagnosis and use of the decompression beds which greatly improved my mobility and pain reduction.
