The hotel was clean and comfortable. Tour Manager was exceptional and so was the driver, both very friendly and helpful.

Lovely hotel, Grand Uk coach driver and tour guide excellent

Pick up from the first pick-up point was on time, but me and 4 others waited at the second point for 45 minutes after the pick up time and had great difficulty in reaching anyone by phone for an update.
The food at the hotel was disgraceful, inedible and disgusting to look at. I stayed at the Leonardo Bradford Hotel.
The first full day started with our coach breaking down and we had to wait an hour for a replacement. I understand that these things happen and are out of your control. The tour guide was inept to say the least. On our first day trip, Settle to Carlisle by rail he did not realise that he did not have the correct tickets for the journey and we had to do a detour which meant that instead of having some time in Carlisle to wander about, we had 25 minutes to get something to eat. (We were on the coach from 9.30 until 2.25 with a 15 minute break when the tour guide went to get the new tickets.) At the end of the train journey, there was no coach outside the station and the guide set off with a few passengers (all on foot) without telling anyone where he was going. So all 50 or so passengers were trailing along the streets of Settle trying to catch up with the guide.
The Skipton visit and cruise was uneventful and quite frankly boring. The 'cruise' being 30 minutes going up and then back along a short stretch of the canal.
The final day was a disaster. We were dropped in Harrogate on time (about 10.20) and told to get back to the bus for 2.00. When we got to Knaresborough we were told that we would only have 45 minutes there. The guide said that he was concerned about the mobility of some passengers and that we would not have time to visit the places of interest in Knaresborough as a result. As I recall, the city of Harrogate was very hilly indeed and I did not see that Knaresborough was no different. At approx 4.00 pm we set off back to the hotel.
The roast turkey dinner on our last night was terrible and again inedible.

Excellent hotel and good servings of wonderful food. Enjoyable trips out and Katherine was a lovely tour manager with a great sense of humour. Of course, the good weather helped, so all in all a very good holiday indeed.

As a single traveller I had a good room with a double bed. The Hotel was very good in all different ways particularly with the food and service in the restaurant. The pickup times were at a reasonable hour and on time and the driver and tour manager made the holiday with their willingness to go out of their way to attend to our needs and make the holiday a carefree one. The trips out were very interesting and an additional morning trip was one of the highlights of the holiday. Of course having lovely weather for the whole trip added to what was such an enjoyable holiday as was the cheerful company of the other people on the trip.

Dorothy and Gorden very helpful. Hotel lovely although our room was very tiny. To get six stars you need a rep at Cobham service station. .

Amazing that a coach company cannot arrange a pick up as the tour is going in 4 weeks time. How long can it take to re-arrange things???

Another fantastic trip with grand uk the driver Dave and his wife Sharon are second to none we laughed from start to finish. Trips were fabulous I had my daughter with me and she loved the week. I cannot stress how much the driver and tour manager were professional loads of information given and always around if we had a problem. Well done grand uk.

Cannot fault it. Journey excellent. Rooms and food perfect. Only suggestion is perhaps split the excursions with a free day instead of having two excursions together. (Less tiring)

Just back from isle off white and what a great tour lovely hotel and food Marcus and angie great fun so knowledgeable every day was so much fun coach so comftable we have been with Grand UK before and will use again after a sad start to year this was just what we needed I am a terrible passenger but I felt so at ease

Excellent friendly Tour Manager and Driver. This is 2nd holiday with them this year (and another last year) and they definitely had their passengers enjoyment first.

We stayed at the Sprowston Manor Country Hotel in Norfolk. Everything was well organised from the taxi to the feeder coach to the hotel. Praise for everyone who helped make this a great holiday from the taxi driver to James/Chris/feeder coach (coach drivers), Angie the tour guide (very knowledgeable and friendly) and the hotel staff. The food was delicious and the trips well organised and fun. Met some lovely people. Already looking at next year.

It was exactly as described nice hotel and the trips out were an interesting and enjoyable day out.

Went to Morecambe & The Lakes in June 2025 and stayed in the Strathmore Hotel Morecambe.
The shower in our back room was so small you could not turn around, no where to put wet towels, shelving, step into shower,
No housekeeping
Although staff of approx: 6 tried their best, they were doing everything from reception, bar, kitchen , waitresses.
The hotel also ran out of supplies, toilet rolls etc.
The tour itself, only visited Lake Windermere, drove passed Ullswater, so was disappointing in that respect.
On writing to Grand Uk, complaining, did / have not reply / response.
Have since learnt hotel being demolished!!!
