Received a Whatsapp days after placing order saying my item was not in stock. Asked for a refund. Was instead told to wait 4 weeks for item to come back into stock.

I spent AED 1,800 on glasses in Deira branch, but the experience was extremely disappointing.

The lenses were poorly made — neither my near vision nor distance vision is clear. The staff’s advice was not professional; it felt like they were more focused on selling higher-priced products rather than helping me choose what actually suits my needs.

One staff member (with a large beard) initially promised a correction, but later disappeared. When I followed up, the rest of the team asked me to pay again for new lenses instead of fixing their mistake.

Overall, very unprofessional service and a waste of money. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

they did not have my order in stock and never communicated that to me! I had to call and ask for myself after 3 days of no revert back from their side

Initially very impressed until I received my order which had half of the items missing. I had to call to find out why , at which point I was told that they were out of stock and that I would need to wait between 4 and 6 weeks! I should have been informed straight away.

I recently purchased a pair of lenses for my wife from Gulf Optics, Sheikh Colony branch, Dubai. The staff Ms. Tania was very courteous. She did a thorough eye test and gave her recommendations. Prices were reasonable and delivery was very quick. My wife is absolutely happy with the new pair of lenses. I will definitely go there for my/our future needs also.

Late delivery, gave me false promises of when I’ll be receiving my order when it was urgent, courier was also rude when I called. Will not be ordering again from Gulf Optic, very disappointed.

The sunglasses I’ve ordered is not same , comes in different colour of frame with scratches and looks old .
