I could not recommend Jones Whyte enough. John Paul McGuiness went above and beyond for me regarding the purchase of property, he was there for me at every point, took every phone call, replied to every email and he did so extremely professionally and promptly. He made the process as easy and smooth as possible, I will not hesitate to use Jones Whyte again in future and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Sorted out a few issues and got us over the line with courtesy and efficiency. All of the team did their jobs admirably.

Excellent review experience with Sarah. Friendly , knowledgeable, and understanding . Puts a client very quickly at ease and inspires confidence in the person conducting the business from the word go . As one should be able to expect in these circumstances. Not a lot more to be said , I would suggest!

John Paul has made the start of this experience very straight forward for us. From the initial call to give us a quote, John Paul explained every fee so it was clear what we would be paying for. Nothing has been too much for him and for that we really appreciate him!

Erin Macdonald was very professional in all her dealings with me. She was prompt and detailed in her responses to my queries. She even went the extra mile to replace a document i previously received from her that was subsequently lost in the post. All in all I was very happy with the service i received from her.

From my initial enquiry to the final document my experience was exceptional. Responses were efficient and timely, clear and easy to understand. We approached Jones Whyte for the purchase of our new home in Scotland. As we are moving from England, we wanted to fully understand the Scottish home-buying process. one of the main and key areas for improvement would be a closer look at improving active and regular progress updates/communications. My case was handled and took nearly 2 years to conclude and during that time I had to constantly badger my case owner/case worker for updates against key planned tasks. It wasnt helpful when i had at least 5 different personnel changes handling this case ( these people had moved on and left the company).

Linked to improved regular communications a forward plan or customer journey would have been helpful to outline what key tasks and activities had to be undertaken to conclude this particular case. Again this was done piece meal and I had to constantly seek regular updates. these were NEVER proactively supplied.

This was a particularly complex trust fund with potential Church of England beneficiaries as well as other national charities. I was given incorrect information and decisions advised that were at a later date totally overturned and changed. This was a roller coaster ride with regards the expected and then the final distribution of funds. Not very good for my personal wellbeing.
A good example of the impact this had on me is:-
The original intention of the trust fund that has been in place for over 30 years was subsequently overlooked and later influenced by a more recent Will change. I was informed incorrectly by a member of J&W that this would not affect the original situation but then subsequently informed it would!! Once again - changing previously agreed decisions.

John Paul was very attentive and was always available to take our calls. He responded swiftly and talked us through the house offer process very expertly and clearly. From day 1 he was helpful and offered good advice which resulted in us having our offer accepted yesterday. Success!
