I have had a very positive experience with Jones-Whyte throughout the process of reviewing my family protection Trust. This has been largely due to the help and guidance I have received from Sarah Dooey who has responded quickly to my questions and emails, been patient when my Trustees took time to respond and supported me with understanding at all times.

My partner and I used Jones Whyte solicitors,Glasgow to carry out the conveyancing work required to purchase our new home and also to sell our own property.
This whole process began early February 2026 and was completed in June 2026. The majority of the work was carried out by Jones Whyte’s Paralegal secretary Nicole Somerville.
We are writing this review with pleasure as the whole experience working with Nicole was felt to be excellent,she was always very honest, calm and empathetic when she knew part of the process was becoming quite problematic.
Nicole was able to explain appropriately the legal issues involved and she understood our worries etc, she would then put our minds at rest which was a relief as moving home as we know can be one of the most stressful times in our lives, we cannot express enough how grateful we are to Nicole . It was time for the annual review of our Family Protection Trust. Our trust was originally arranged through McClure, and when they unfortunately ceased trading, Jones Whyte stepped in to continue the annual reviews.

With 270 miles separating us from Glasgow, the review was carried out by video conference. Katie was the person with whom my wife and I conversed.

Being retired, we don’t claim to be experts with modern technology — we even nearly forgot to slide open the laptop’s camera shutter — but once connected, everything ran smoothly. Katie took us through all the necessary checks on our Trust, and the half hour passed without a hitch.

She was both friendly and knowledgeable, and dealt with a significant alteration to our letter of wishes with clarity and care. If the next review is conducted in a similar manner, we will both feel well served by Jones Whyte.
