Loved the box, hated what came next

My godchild absolutely loved his boxes when I would get them for his birthday. I cancelled the subscription 2 years ago, and have removed all billing information, and delivery information. At various intervals I am still being charged over 100 dollars for a box I didn’t sign up for, with all of my information removed. I have been in contact with them, and this is an ongoing issue. My next step is to block transactions from my bank account and file a dispute. This is incredibly disappointing, loved the product however I don’t like loosing a random 100 dollars and having to file a case each time and the issue never being resolved. Please don’t sign up unless you too would like to be in this awful purgatory.

Customer service was an amazing help too with a one off situation.
My only complaint is there isn't enough room to share all of kiwico's praises. Def recommend. 11/10!

Great customer service

My grandson loves his monthly crates! The gift subscription for my grandson renewed on July 1st. I emailed Kiwico after that date to request the 4th of July promotional discount that was being offered. A customer service person, Ken, promptly emailed me back and offered me a credit off of my next order, which I accepted. Ken was very professional and polite.

Kiwico and their partner company With reach!

The first payment was normal that what you see you pay but after my 3 month subscription went over they reactivated the subscription without any question.
The payment after that was way more then normal! It wasn‘t the usully 80€ for 3 month. I payed 120€ for 3 month. And what i see was a company behind kiwico with reach (just google it). This company picked up my money from paypal!
And this comapny screams scam in your face when you look up their Reviews.

Subscription Help

I had initially reached out via email about a concern with my subscription and was told by Lloyd there was nothing to be done. I then called and spoke with Ays who resolved the issue almost immediately. 0 stars for Llyod but 5 for Ays. I wish I didn’t have to go through to modes to resolve my issue, it would have been nice if it was taken care of the first time, but am appreciative it was eventually resolved.

I contacted them over a holiday weekend…

I contacted them over a holiday weekend and both their virtual assistant and a regular person replied via email very quickly. They resolved the situation and I didn’t have to wait until Monday morning to get the issue resolved.

Make sure you cancel subscription prior to "renewal"

We subscribed for our 3 yo grandchild. The kits were "good". Kept her occupied or ~60, minutes total/kit including assembly time and playing with it. So not worth the money. I forgot to cancel prior to the year end, and noticed the renewal bill on my credit card. They would not let me do a partial year and refund part of the renewal. So stuck with another year. I cancelled immediately.

Impressive response time & resolution

I never received my first crate after waiting almost two months; I reached out to the support team and the replies with action steps on KiwiCo's part were incredibly prompt. My issue was resolved quickly and kindly within twenty-four hours. Very impressive. Thank you!

Excellent service!

The customer service rep Camille did great!! She looked into the issue, fixed it and reassured me it shouldn’t happen again. She even sent me a replacement crate and upon realizing I didn’t need it she told me to keep it or donate it or gift it to someone who could use it. Great customer support!

Kiwico themselves reactivated the subscription !

I stopped the subscription from my account page and Kiwico themselves reactivated the subscription and then debited the money! It's like forced sales! I don't recommend this dubious practice.

Update: Thanks for getting back to us. After reviewing your account, we can confirm that you'd purchase two auto-renewing subscriptions (please see invoice). On 6/24, you'd had manually paused the subscription until July, so our system unpaused on it's renewal date on July 1st. We see that you'd reach out to our team and we can confirm that both subscriptions are now canceled. The charges are both fully refunded. Thanks again for letting us resolve this for you. #1 Prepaid subscriptions are NONREFUNDABLE

#1 Prepaid 12 month subscriptions and others are NONREFUNDABLE! On the checkout page click on the very tiny ? to read the fine print. Very disappointing. The kits are too difficult for my granddaughter.

UPDATE: Now that my granddaughter is a bit older, and has more time as school os out. She is enjoying the kits at this time, and she looks forward to getting them.

Terrible customer service, great toys

Terrible customer service, great toys.

Our experience in summary was:

1. Got delivered the wrong toy
2. Refused to give the real toy
3. We thought about cancelling, but mistakes happen. We wrote a bad review.
4. Kiwi reached out, they cancelled our yearly subscription, and asked us to pay more than what we originally paid for a resub.
6. We told them to go themselves

In summary: I cannot recommend giving money to this company, even if the toys are great - you just don’t treat people like this.

Also: their comment is wrong, no refund for the toy, promotion was just whatever promotion was at the time. Avoid them. Support is gaslighting

Absolutely atrocious company

Absolutely atrocious company. I've emailed them at least 10 times and haven't received a single response, despite them having taken my payment. I made a simple error with my email address and have tried multiple times to clarify the situation, but they've completely ignored all of my messages. At this point, I’ll have to go through my bank to request a refund. Truly shameful customer service — I would strongly advise others to avoid this company.

On June 15, you sent the first email (from email account A), which was replied to by our AI agent. We received an additional 8 emails from you, 3 of which were responded to by our AI agent before being transferred to our Customer Care team. You were informed that our email team would respond to you within 24-48 hours. Our Customer Care team sent an email to you requesting additional information within the 48-hour timeframe, but you never responded to it.

On June 16, via a different email account (from email account B), you sent a new email. Again, our AI agent responded to you, and you sent an additional 4 email replies, and our AI agent advised that your email would be routed to the care team for review after you had been informed of a 24-48 hour response timeframe. This new email would normally be replied to by June 18 (today is June 17).

On June 17, 30 minutes before your review on this website, you sent a new email (again from email account B), and our AI agent advised that your new email would be routed to the team and that there is a 24-48 hour response time. This email would normally receive a reply by June 19.

While we understand that you have a concern that needs to be resolved from a mistake you made in your order, we have responded to you, asked for additional information, and you’ve not yet replied or provided that information to us, and your new emails are now in the queue to be answered. We’ve merged the three different emails from two different email accounts into one and have asked the first agent who responded to you to send a new message asking for the information we need to assist you. We hope that you will respond to our email so that we can assist you further with the order you recently placed. We look forward to hearing from you soon.

Kiwi.com Is a Scam

Kiwi.com Is a Scam – 100% Refund Is a Lie

Do NOT book with Kiwi.com. This company is a straight-up scam. I bought two tickets that were clearly marked 100% refundable if canceled at least 48 hours before departure. I canceled more than 48 hours in advance, followed every single rule, and they are still refusing to refund my money.

Their so-called “refund policy” is just a marketing trick to lure people in. Once they have your money, good luck getting any of it back. Customer service is a complete joke – unhelpful, evasive, and clearly trained to wear you down until you give up. They hide behind vague excuses and don’t even try to explain why they’re breaking their own terms.

This is a predatory company that takes advantage of travelers. They lie about refunds, ignore fair cancellation requests, and treat customers like garbage. I wouldn’t trust Kiwi.com to book a bus ride, let alone a flight. Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy being robbed.

Shame on Kiwi.com for scamming honest people and refusing to honor their own policies. I’ll be reporting them everywhere possible.
