Kryptonite is the worst kind of lock , is always blocked when I lock my bike I get difficulties to unlock it , avoid this this pruduct

I ordered a second key and paid for it. It never arrived. I tried to get in touch with Kryptonite via the online form twice, never got a reply. This company is a total scam. There is no way to reach them. They take your money and then ghost you. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Update: got my spare key on october 04th, more than a month after ordering it. It's sad that trustpilot is the only way to get in touch with kryptonite.

My 2 bikes were stolen back in August and I did all that was required to report the theft to Kryptonite. However I was never contacted within the 5-7 days as mentioned in the confirmation email. After 30 days, if the bikes were not found therefore I should be eligible for reimbursement but still no new from Kryptonite. I subscribed for the 5 years ATPO but it seems I should not have invested in that unfortunately.

It took close to 6 months to get the reimbursement but it came and I can now look into getting 2 new bikes. So it was very long to get an answer but it eventually came. Thank you Kryptonite.

Stay away from their locks and ATPO.

I am trying to get in touch to replace my "lifetime guaranteed" lock which has failed. I have had no reply for some weeks and nobody answers their US based telephone line. I am loathe to buy another lock as this one is guaranteed but I fear I have no option. Buyer beware! Do not rely on them for after sales support.

Zero stars for service although lock is very good. Ordered additional keys through Key Safe offer. Original claim acknowledged 11 August 2023 and sent follow up email but no response. May need to try some other avenue as companies shouldn’t be allowed to offer deals if they don’t follow through. Very poor customer service. Expect I’ll get the same automated response from Kryptonite via trustpilot as others received. Please prove me wrong Kryptonite!

My bikes were stolen after two years. I had the Kryptolok 912 Combination Integrated Chain and the thieves just cut the lock.

I bought one of their locks under the belief that should my bike be stolen whilst the lock was in use, the company would reimburse me for the value of my bike. (As previously advertised and stated on my paperwork).

My bike was stolen in October 2022. The theives were caught on cctv and the crime was reported to the police. After much fuss trying to find out how to submit a claim, I eventually found the process online and provided all details requested in order to submit my claim. Needless to say, I never heard anything from the company, and it looks like I'm one of many people in the same position. I've since bought myself a new bike which I had to take out finance for, along with an Oxford lock and bike insurance. I will never buy a lock from Kryptonite ever again!

Don’t buy 2 bikes stolen today within 4 mins they simply sprayed @@@@@ into lock freezes lock 3 hits of a hammer boom done watch the whole thing on Cctv there’s videos on YT showing it , disappointed.

The company claims to offer free replacement of their locks which they say have lifetime warranty.

They don't however respond to the claim and also don't have an email address on their website so completely impossible to follow up with them...

Doesn’t worth it as all thieves can broke it/ cut it.
I had my bicycle stolen last week even having this lock, as all UK thieves know how to get it out of your bic.
It’s a shame as I bought the locker to avoid exactly this situation.
Do not lose your money with this locker.

Ordered a key ,that doesn't fit nor open the lock . Customer service is non existent . I wrote a few mails.no response .so I guess I buy a new lock from a reliable company .and never ever spend a single dime on that fraud of a company .thank you for wasting my money on a joke of a company

Is Anti-Theft Protection Offer a scam? I submitted my application on May 3, 2023 and received confirmation of my application by automatic e-mail, stating that I would be contacted by their team within 5 to 7 days.

As I didn't receive a reply, I contacted them again on however no reply. I had already sent the purchase invoice for the Kryptonite Lock, a photo of the dismantled lock, a photo of the lock keys, the lock key number, the purchase invoice for the stolen bike, a photo of where the bike was parked, a photo of the bike before theft, a photo of the lock key. Could you please give me an answer?

I am really worried as they say you will receive a response in 1 month however i have been waiting over 2 months coming too 3 which is really disappointing.

My Claim number is 109170 I hope you resolve this and contact me as soon as possible

After having my bike stolen on June 6, 2023 from my collective underground garage locked by New-York Lock Standard and Messenger Mini+ and since I had subscribed to ATPO. I submitted a claim on June 12 and received a confirmation of my application by automatic e-mail, stating that I would be contacted by their team within 5 to 7 days.
As I didn't receive a reply, I contacted them again on July 18 and 19 with all the new information in my possession: details of my home insurance cover. I had already sent the purchase invoice for the Kryptonite lock, the ATPO subscription confirmation, a photo of the dismantled lock, a photo of the lock keys, the lock key number, the purchase invoice for the stolen bike, a photo of where the bike was parked and a photo of the bike before theft.
After getting no answer to my emails and requests on their website, I came on their Truspilot page and writted a negative review on July 31. They answered me on the Trustpilot page the same day and came back to me by email the next day, August 1st to confirm that my claim was complete and gave me the amount of the compensation. I finally received the transfer for the compensation on August 17.
I'm glad it is over and that they have finally fulfilled their commitments.

Can't find a telephone number to talk to a person about shipping a replacement key to an address in Canada.
I found a price of $ 30.00 USD to send the lock to an address in MA; however I have read reviews that the company cashes the check and does not respond., There seems to be some degree of unscrupulous business! I am thinking of throwing the lock in a recycling bin and buying a cable and a padlock.

Bought a D lock from Halfords, and after 6 months it stopped working. The key gets stuck doesn’t lock,

The Anti-theft program is BS! My sons bike was stolen on school grounds, I provided Kryptonite a detailed school report And because I didn’t provide a picture of the broken lock my claim will not be further reviewed. The thief was obviously covering his tracks and left no evidence. School cameras are not angled where bikes are stored, which is completely out of my control and neighbors in the area reported someone jumping the fence after school hours. So apparently it’s my fault because I didn’t read the anti-theft policy thoroughly. Without a picture the detailed report was not sufficient enough. Now I’m left paying for a bike that we no longer own and Kryptonite can’t even offer the courtesy to pay for any of my ongoing costs. So damn me for not providing a picture of the “unbreakable lock”

The "Anti Theft Protection Program" is a joke. You pay a registration fee to participate, with the goal of being protected/ reimbursed, if you bike is stolen.
To file a claim with Kryptonite, it's mandatory to provide a photo of the broken lock.
In the majority of cases, thieves will take the lock with them when they steal the bike, as the lock could provide traces for the police. So they make it disappear as well.
And, well, according to the T&C of the Kryptonite program, you can't file a claim if the lock is gone.
This is a cheap marketing trick to make additional money while finding an excuse to disappoint customers if their bike is stolen.

My bike was stolen, the lock was cut off, they claim 30 days to process the claim, it's now been over 3 months.

can anyone from kryptonite can get in touch with me regarding my unanswered claim?

I've been trying for quite some time to get a hold of someone to let me know about the status of claim its now come to 30 days still no answer
