Over 2 weeks waiting for a warranty claim response that I made through the website and nothing. I'm forced to order a new one as I need it for my commute and can't really use my bike without a lock. Now have been waiting for longer than a week for it to be delivered. These guys suck.

No reply.. passed the deadline for when my claim should have been assessed.

I bought the Kryptonite Avenue F-150 and Avenue R-75 COB Light Combo, which broke after only 3 months. I therefore asked customer service for a replacement. Initially I received a reply (every 1-1.5 weeks) and from the beginning of October no reply at all. I have made 2 more tickets, but so far no reply.

Edit: Nachdem ich meine Bewertung abgegeben habe, hat der Kundendienst prompt reagiert. Mittlerweile habe ich die Ersatzschlüssel erhalten und auch der Zahlungsbetrag wurde mir zurückerstattet. Danke an dieser Stelle dafür. Eine solche Reaktion habe ich nicht erwartet.

Originalbewertung: Habe im Februar ein Kryptolock 912 erstanden, bei dem mittlerweile beide Schlüssel ihre Funktion eingestellt haben. Das alleine ist schon Grund für eine Abwertung.
Die Ersatzschlüssel habe ich vor 6 Wochen bestellt. Bislang ist aber noch kein Ersatz eingetroffen.
Der Kundenservice ist praktisch nicht vorhanden. Eine Anfrage landet im elektronischen Nirvana von Zendesk.
Insgesamt habe ich 100 EUR in den Sand gesetzt.
Aus meiner Sicht ein klares Veto gegen zukünftige Käufe dieses Anbieters.

Quick resolution to my problem after my negative Trustpilot review.
I ordered replacement keys, which arrived promptly but did not fit. On contacting customer service I received no reply, but after my review here I was refunded for the useless keys and as a courtesy received a new lock.
Great service in the end, just a shame it couldn't be achieved without a public complaint.

Purchased a lock just under a year ago, key stuck in the lock and not able to extract. Local locksmith told me it wasn't fixable.

Tried to contact customer service (as comfortably within warranty period) with all the details specified in the contact form, but have had ZERO response for 26 days, despite commenting on the zendesk ticket.

Phoned them to follow up on the issue, simply told "someone will get back to you at some point". Tried phoning again and stuck on permanent hold

Nothing I can do at this point but purchase a new lock.

Plenty of other companies selling locks - suggest you take your business elsewhere.

I have been an extremely long-term customer of Kryptonite, having bought my first lock from them back in 2001. I have 2 chain locks, 3 d-locks, a disc lock and many many cable locks all from them. The first time ever I have needed replacement keys and have been totally let down both with regards to delivery time and the company will not answer my emails or messages on social media. In future I will use ABUS as I need to rely on these products.

My bike and lock was stolen.
It's been almost 3 months from when the event and claim was sent through and I am yet to have a response even after numerous attempts to contact them.

Complete SCAM! DO NOT trust this company to insure your bike.

The Kryptonite support is absolutely NON-EXISTENT!!! Opened a ticket 20 days ago and no reply, I called their support numerous times, but keep getting an answering machine... With this support how can anyone safely rely on their products!!!...
*** Unbelievable ***, despite waiting three weeks for some response to the initial ticket, after that the ticket was closed on 10 November 2023 but until today 24 November 2023 I have received nothing, absolutely NOTHING. So tickets are closed before the actual resolution is provided!!! Does Kryptonite really feel that this is good support?

Appalling customer service, made a claim over a month ago for the free set of keys as I had lost mine, and not heard back!! They don't have a UK contact number! Email and you will not get any response! Never buying a lock from them again, imagine if you ever needed to make a guarantee claim! Stay clear! To much stress and hassle.

Terrible company. The warranty is basically a scam. They take weeks or months to reply to your emails once the lock fails. Then they send you away again to try things which make no difference. Then it's more weeks and multiple follow-ups before receiving a reply. Rather than apologising the for the failure of the lock. The employees seem to have contempt for the fact that customers claim on the warranty used to sell the product.

Edit: We were eventually sent a new lock, although it took way too long and too much time invested.

I had my bike stolen from work while using a Kryptonite New York lock - they used an angle grinder to cut through the lock.

I had signed up for Krytonite's Anti-Theft protection scheme, so I immediately put in a claim via the website and the response said I would be contacted within 30 working days. Three months later and I've heard nothing back. Reading other reviews, I see that I'm not alone - this scheme seems like a marketing scam. My advice is to go elsewhere and buy a lock from a different manufacturer.

EDIT: Now 5 months on and still nothing - so much for them responding in 30 working days. I understand there is a massive backlog, but this is ridiculous. I will never buy another Krytonite product again.

I have bought a Kryptonite lock and twice it has been forced. Twice I bought the anti-theft protection, but when I tried to claim after the lock was forced and my bike stolen, there was no response what so ever from Kryptonite. The insurance is a scam. Don't waste your money.

I contacted support to replace lost key over a month ago, followed up 3 times, and still not heard back from them. I am disappointed because I thought they were a reputable well run company, I was mistaken.

Customer service is unreachable and their phone lines don't work.... now stuck with what to do as I can't contact them in anyway and they don't reply when you submit a request. Very disappointed!

On 10 June I requested a replacement key for a lock (ref #421312) via the website. It took over a month - 20 July - to receive a response, saying that the order will be placed. Still not (Oct 15th) received confirm of despatch or the keys!

Are others experiencing such delays? Very slow!

I sent a further ticket on the website to chase, but no response. Hoping this review prompts somebody to send a key as I subsequently lost my second original key and can no longer use my bike.

Used to have very quick support.

One of my locks has seized up so I contacted them on the support site. It’s been a week so having read other reviews I don’t think they’ll be getting back to me. If not I’ll chuck it and buy a different brand next time.

Shockingly fedex have lost my new lock. Now I’m without a lock and have to start the whole process again.

No response to my claim. Been months

UPDATE: I received a reply to my review, and what about it? Nothing. I've sent them the info as requested, my 5y cover confirmation email with all the details and NO REPLY. It's been over a month since this occurred. No bike, no money. If I could, I would leave 0 stars. Atrocious service!!!!!!

After 2y of using one of the most secure locks from their range, my bike got stolen
And that was 2months ago. I contacted them, submitted the police report number, opened 2 tickets so far and haven't got a reponse at all!!!!! I speciffically went for this lock as it has the money back offer in case of theft. Was definitely not worth the money at all. Rubbish lock and rubbish service. AVOID!!!!!
