Never ordering from Melijoe's again!!!

I ordered a pair of Adidas Velcro superstars and was excited that I finally found a cute pair of Velcro shoes for someone my age when they usually only have it for babies and toddlers. Plus it's hard to find shoes online for my size.
The shipping was fast and great, but what's not so great was that it wasn't the right shoes that I ordered. Knowing and feeling that whoever packaged it gave me the wrong pairs on PURPOSE. It even says on the paper printed of what I ordered was Adidas VELCRO superstars. But instead I still got the LACED Adidas superstar shoes sent to me. This is probably some kind of joke, getting me hopes up for nothing.
I wish I could get the shoes that I've been dying to have for free shipped to me in return of Melijoe's horrible service to make up for it. But I'd rather not return them because I'd probably not get my money back. As again.. NEVER going to order online from this website ever again.

Disgusting customer care service

Disgusting customer care service. Buying children clothing is a wonderful experience – unless you do it at Melijoe, where they seem to hate their customers. First, they did not pass on the correct address to the delivery service, so I was called by a terribly rude delivery guy who swore at me and said he will not deliver it now, because he looked for my name too long and now he will bring it back to the distribution centre. I complained to Melijoe, they didn't care. Finally, the package arrived two days later and one item was simply wrong. I called them and wrote them and they promised to care and reply, but they never did. Unless four days later or so they sent me a horrible, bureaucratic instruction to follow to send back an article I simply did not order. Honestly, you are not worth my time and I will simply recommend everyone I know and meet to avoid Melijoe. I have never experienced anything as dumb in terms of customer care.

Terrible customer service

I agree with the previous customer! Avoid buying from them if you can! Customer service is deplorable. I’m in New York and I ordered rain boots for my son, the size on the website and the recommendations to buy a smaller size are both wrong. Okay, that happens but I called them on Thursday to get a shipping label (I shouldn’t have to pay for their mistakes), first they asked for a picture - never happened to me with a US company, then they tell me they can’t generate a shipping label because the supervisor isn’t in?!!
Okay I email a picture and wait- nothing all weekend or Monday I call Monday at 5pm (they are open until 6) can’t generate a label again no supervisor but will give me free shipping on my next order. Okay Tuesday, get the label but no free shipping code and it isn’t applied to my account. I call again- they said they will fix it! Wednesday no free shipping.
Never have I had such terrible customer service regarding a wrong item that was sent to me!! Never had this problem with gilt, zulily, ruelala, even smallabel that is located outside of the US.
Last time I’m buying with them. Instead of doing a quick exchange this is taking a week!!! Waiting to get my correct item and done with them.

***answering their response:
It took me 5 phone calls and 4 emails (that were never acknowledged) to get my shipping label and free shipping!!
Furthermore, they did not give me a full refund despite their mistake so I’ll be calling again! I will also make it my mission to post this review anywhere I can.

They came through

DO NOT TRUST THEM! DEPLORABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
I ordered a dress for my daughter's birthday on a Friday and was very impressed when the DHL delivery man rang the bell with the delivery on Monday (we live in Australia!) however that's where the service stopped. I received the wrong (and much cheaper) item. I contacted them via email and they told me that I had to organise a return myself (incl. pay for the return fee) and then they would refund me the money. I clearly stated that I wasn't interested in a refund and simply want the dress I purchased however they couldn't do that until they received the returned items! So I tried to organise the return and of course their website won't let me organise a DHL delivery return stating that the date I selected had already passed (it did not!). I tried several times and it did not work. So I tried calling the number listed and of course that doesn't work either. I contacted them via email AGAIN (I emailed them about 10 times at this point stating my frustrations) and no help there either (she simply told me to go on the website again and organise it, apparently the issue was fixed, IT WASN'T!).
So, here I am, $175 out of my pocket, no dress for my daughter's birthday, no way of speaking to a real person and stuck with two cheaper items I do not want.
UPDATE: After speaking to a different customer rep, I was ensured that she’d try her best to get everything sorted out, and she did. She found the dress (which had gone out of stock) and I got it within a few days of her contacting me (both via phone and email). Thank you, faith restored!

I ordered a bathrobe from Melijoe and called 2 times to make sure to receive it with a gift bag (even with extra fees) because this was a gift for someone I really care about. I was told to place the order and then call back to make sure to add a note on my order.

I received the package on time, but unfortunately without any bag.
I was really disappointed and sent an email to the customer service but never got a message back.
I should have read the reviews before about the customer service because now I have to rush to a shop to buy whatever gift bag I find before going to the birthday party.

Poor customer service. I won't recommend.

I've been impressed and satisfied with the past services with Melijoe. However, for this recent order that I've purchased 2 dresses - one from Dolce & Gabanna, and one from Mischka Aoki. I received the garment bag from Dolce & Gahanna but not the other. I followed up with Melijoe. They told me that because Mischka Aoki did not send them the garment bag. I followed with Mischka Aoki as suggested by Melijoe. The Mischka Aoki said that the always send garment bag with the dress. I've been back and forth between Melijoe and Mischka Aoki for total of 6 times. Finally, Melijoe told me that because the dress I purchased was past season 2016 that was why no garment bag.
This was a total disappointment. Melijoe pushed the responsibility to Mischka Aoki and just let me deal with it solely instead of taking initiative to try to improve customer services since the purchase was from Melijoe. I am sure it won't be much a problem for them to send me a garment bag. Otherwise, I have to pay additional fee of $30/bag + shipping as requested by the Mischka Aoki customer service. How fair is that for me to pay something that should already included with the order.

I like the clothes of this company and …

I like the clothes of this company and have had good experiences with them most of the times except when the company shipped the order to a wrong address.
Nevertheless, I recently placed another order. The minute after the order was placed, I realized that one of the items was ordered erroneously twice. I immediately called the customer service asking to change the order but they said they couldn't do it (!!) and that they had to cancel the entire order. They ensured me that the pending charge on my credit card would be canceled. Ten days later, while the order had been canceled, the amount was charged in full to my credit card. It will probably take a week to get a refund. This is yet another example that, whenever there is a slight problem, the customer service is not able to address it professionally and timely.

The order was cancelled 2 minutes after it was posted on 5/27. When I spoke to the customer service agent over the phone, on that same day, he ensured me that the charge that was pending on the credit card at that time would have been dismissed soon since the order was canceled right away. Ten days later the charge has been finalized and the amount has been taken in full from MELIJOE. This is the opposite of what you just replied to me. When I spoke yesterday with another customer agent she had no idea that MELIJOE was supposed to refund me nor she could give me any confirmation number that the refund will occur, nor send me an email confirming that the refund was being processed. This is frankly unacceptable.

When an order is cancelled, we process the refund, which may take up to ten working days to be visible in your account due to the handling time frame of the banks. This affects especially international transactions.

Upsetting & terrible getting your money back

I bought my son a Canada goose coat for Christmas . I took the label of so he didn't know how much it was or that I got it.. I saved the label just incase. When he put it on it was way to small. I called them up and asked if I could exchange it bare in mind I told them the reason all ready on the phone.. So the but a size 18 on hold until the received the small one back.. 2 days later they got the coat.. A week later I called and asked what was happening they said that the coat was not packaged the way they received it.. NOT TRUE !!!! The only thing was the label was on top of the coat but everything else was the same apart from I put buble wrap in for extra protecshion.. So when I called I explained again this was way to small and that was you have a bigger one on hold.. So they said that's fine just looked it it been worn... ( no tired on ) I phone ever day now and it's been another 8 days and there saying its with the returns term or its with there finance side.. I want my money the item was £577 a lot of money to keep hold of.. I never had this in returning any thing.. Even clothes that have been worn or tried on you have a receipt you allowed to change it this is not on.. Durning this winter my son has had to go to school with no Coat as I have no money till I get it back to get him a new one.. This is so up setting and scarey that a compatible will not give me my money back... If I do t hear any more this will be reported to training standards and I will be happy to take it further until I get my money back.. The coat was in perfect condition when returned no need for this at all .. I want my money if full now

I would recommend avoiding this company

I've had no reply to any emails I've sent to this company, it seems they just ignore you when things go wrong! I've sent three emails and received no response! I placed an order for next day delivery which cost me £9. The order was placed before noon on the Monday and did not arrive until the Thursday! If I had taken the standard delivery option then my delivery would have been free and probably would have arrived at the same time! I paid the excessive cost for next day delivery as I needed the items I ordered for a special event for my two daughters and was assured the items would arrive on time. Unfortunately this did not happen and I was left running around trying to find alternatives at the last minute which proved unsuccessful. I also had to contact the delivery company myself as I was ignored by Melijoe when I contacted them to find out where my parcel was as it had not been delivered as promised. The telephone calls to the delivery company cost me even more money and it should not have been left for me to do, this should not have been at my own expense. I would not recommend shopping with Melijoe due to their lack of communication, once they have their hands on your money it seems they do not care about their customers.

I contacted your company on three separate occaisions via your "contact us" section on your website and received three confirmation emails of this which stated one of your team members would respond shortly. I can easily provide proof of this if needed.

No I did not use another email address. I have one email address only. It just comes across as complete lies the longer it goes on. I'm out of pocket more than the shipping costs and that's down to your companies bad management. I also received no voicemail or missed call and yes, my details are up to date and no I did not give another number 🙄 I suggest that this phone call never took place. Potential customers that are reading this I would advise you to stay away from this company, after all this nonsense they've never bothered to asks about the he other costs I've incurred or offer any gesture of goodwill. There are better online shops out there like childrensalon who have excellent customer care, I'll never shop with Melijoe again.

Never ever again!

I have ordered a suit for my son. My parcel arrived outside EU nine days after. The parcel wasn't covered with appropriate material so the paper was heavily damaged. When I have received it, there was only one item inside, no jacket only trousers. I have refused my parcel to sign and it was sent back automatically. The logistic report said the netto weight was 250 Gramms which means there could be only one item sent, considering the suit is lined and the size is for a 4 year old child. The brutto weight sent was about 600, and local customs office had to put an extra material around the parcel since it was falling in parts due to bad weather conditions. So at the end it was a brutto weight of 677 Gramms. A conclusion is that the parcel sent contained an incomplete order from the beginning. Well they have received the parcel back 20 days after the date of purchase. Today are 32 days passes since my order was placed I there is still no refund on my credit card! I was charged high interest rate because of melijoe, my child has still no suit for Christmas and new year and my refund wasn't processed yet! I would not recommend you to order from them. Go instead after childsplayclothing.co.uk or childrensalon.
The most incompetent customer service ever! I gave so many calls and e-mails and only few of them were answered but actually ignoring my issue, saying they are waiting HQ to answer or what ever! I am very very disappointed they just don't care. I am wondering if I am going to receive my refund at all!!!!
My order number is 3077334 it makes no sense to contact Your customer service, because they are not able to help me! i did it at least 10 times.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I bought a dress from melijoe for my girls. After wearing it once, without washing, the fabric pimpled terribly. I sent them an email regarding this issue On October 19, as well as On October 26, November 2 and November 12. Today is November 28, I still haven't heard anything from them!!!! I would NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO BUY ANYTHING FROM THEIR SITE!!!!

Sentirse estafada con Melijoe

He comprado otras veces y nunca me había visto obligada ha devolver ningún artículo hasta que el mes pasado hice una compra de un vestido y me lo mandaron defectuoso,me han mandado un vestido desteñido por varias zonas en concreto por la parte de delante,como si lo hubieran expuesto al sol.
Mi sorpresa me la he llevado cuando me pongo en contacto con ellos para que me den una solución y se hagan cargo de el coste de mensajería ya que el error ha sido por parte de Melijoe.
La respuesta ha sido,que lo lamentan mucho pero el vestido NO puede ser cambiado ni devuelto,la única solución que me dan es que compre otro artículo y se me descontarán 12€ por un nuevo pedido.
Resumiendo: me tengo que tragar el vestido defectuoso que me mandaron ellos y encima tengo que hacerles ganar más dinero haciendo un nuevo pedido!!!
Esto no tiene nombre solo que SINVERGUENZAS con muy poca clase y sobre todo muy poca profesionalidad.
Solo me queda recurrir a la policia y ponerles una demanda por estafar a los clientes y no voy ha parar de hacerles publicidad para que se entere todo el mundo de cómo gastan las bromas estos SINVERGUENZAS.

Ordered on here with express delivery to uk, cheaper than other sites and came the next day like stated! Even got a phone call of delivery drivers As couldn't find the house which is very rare for a driver to do so.
Defiantly recommend
