Do not use this company
Do not use this company . I downloaded the app and after many attempts managed to upload the required documents. I filled in the ID confirmation many times each time it said I had been successful and would receive an e mail which never arrived. I tried contacting them several times both by e mail and phone and spend ages and money ringing Spain to talk to Carjet only to be kept on hold for ever and having to hang up before my credit ran out. I was arriving to pick the car up late , the app kept telling me I had actions to complete before I could collect my car then wouldn’t let me do it . As a back up I had to book a hotel near the airport in case I couldn’t get the car. I was eventually contacted by green motion who told me I would be collected by them . I was taken to their office and spend forever submitting documents which I had already submitted . I was then charged €25 for a late pick up .
Bad communication useless App too much stress.
Overbooked the car rental agency
Overbooked the car rental agency, and we didn't find out until we arrived at our destination. We were stuck at the airport until we were able to make other rental arrangements.
Rubbish. App didn’t work! Had to do the whole booking process again!
Complete waste of time. Spent ages registering my passport driving licence and card details. Got to the pick up point and the app just froze and had to waste time putting in all my details again with Green Motion. Awful experience. Won’t use again!

Totally mis-sold
Totally mis-sold. Advertised as 'collect car at airport' but once ordered, it was an off-facility collection and drop off. The blame was covid, but covid has been with us for almost 2 years. The change to 'off-facility' is not therefore new so should have been noted in the original sale condition. Never using this company again.

I did not like that both times I phoned I got a message saying someone would get back to me. They did but it took 24 hours.

So easy no queuing nobody trying to sell the extras, we left an iPad in the back of the car and there was a really friendly guy on hand within 5 minutes. Great service!

Booked my car on line and advised my age was 74 and was given a price which I paid. On arrival in Athens I was asked to pay an additional €140.00 because of my age.
This is not acceptable.

Bad experience. Canceled my reservation
Went for this from Google search for cheap rental car for 1 day. Everything was shady. Price was practically the same as real rental companies. App is horrible. They wanted 600€ as depositum which i did not want to do hence the crappy quality of the whole service.
Sent e-mail but never got answer. Tried to call and no answer.

I made a booking on line and then trued to download app. My phone couldn't take it - it is quite old but most apps work. I then tried to find out how to cancel online and you can't find it. So I sent messages. Three of them over 48 hours. No reply at all. Then I got a friend to download app and logged on. Booking showing cancelled but I have had no confirmation by email of this so if you take a payment I have no way of showing I cancelled. As other people have said great concept but just too many problems fir customers.

I never booked with this company
I never booked with this company, yet they still send me emails as if I did. I enquired at one stage last year, but received confirmation back then, that there was no booking.
However after they got in touch, they have now conceded that it's possible that text messages were still going out. That indeed was the reason why I made the complaint. I sent an email with evidence that my booking was cancelled and refunded. But despite this, I kept getting messages during the period of booking that I had booked elsewhere. Even up to the point when I was returning the car I did book elsewhere. You need to look at your internal systems and prevent this happening. I could have got stressed about this, but I chose to ignore it. Others may not in that situation so I think it just gets your organisation a bad name. I'm trying to help here, by providing this feedback, so hopefully it's been a learning exercise that I took the trouble to help you with. Thanks

Further response: Thank you for your response, however I had a phone discussion with someone at MoveMee to clarify some terms, and it was decided then, that it wouldn't work for me. I told them on the phone to cancel it, but to be fair, I didn't chase the fact that I had no notification it was cancelled.
When I received an email from you on 24th, Gareth confirmed it was cancelled which was appreciated, but it was disconcerting and extremely frustrating to continually be receiving automatic emails from you right up until the commencement of our holiday and all through it, till completion. Couldn't you just have switched that off, once confirmation it was cancelled had come through? Thanks

excellent quality / price ratio
We had never booked a car with this company but this Christmas we did it for a 10-day interval at Glasgow airport. Our experience has been excellent. The reception and return of the car was very fast and easy through the company's App. The fairly new vehicle (8700 miles), extraordinarily clean and the host company (Green Motion) very fast, friendly and helpful with the questions we raised.
We wrote several times email to movimee to answer some questions about the rental and the responses were quick and friendly.
In summary, great the price, vehicle and the reservation in general. We will repeat with this company.

You are better off getting your rental…
You are better off getting your rental from high Street shops than these apps trying to be smart without any background tech. Verifications process takes too long, after getting your car you need to do the same thing again then it's better to take from enterprise or anyone similar.
Instead of it being ease of use its more of nightmare to use and app definitely sucks

I needed a car that was 'on airport' for collection and yet when I booked the car it said it was a bus ride away. This was annoying as I had to then cancel the hire and find another company actually 'on airport'. Please make your details clearer as for many customers this will be an important factor.

It took me multiple times to fill in…
It took me multiple times to fill in all necessary data and send copies of passports and credit cards. That was all in order and finally accepted. In the middle of the night suddenly all this information was requested again.
Next day when I cam to collect my car, no information had been received by the rental company and I could do all over again.

Avoid, avoid, avoid!!!
As others have said, not worth the trouble.
I booked through Move Mee for a trip to Edinburgh. I did not realise that my car would be provided by a different company, in this case Green Motion, actually horrendous, separate review on them to follow.
Pick up place is not on site at Edinburgh airport with other car hire companies, which are a walk away, but a bus trip across the airport. Picked up the car and returned it in the same condition. Charged £377 for "damage" which couldn't be proved, pictures provided of wheel scrapes were close up and could have been from any car and probably were. I cleaned the car before returning it, so I know that there were no wheel scrapes, but unfortunately didn't have pictures to prove it. Also charged for going over the mileage limit when the contract I took out said unlimited mileage.
All in all the car ended up costing approx: £120 per day. My main issue is the underhanded manner in which this was handled. Don't pretend to provide a great deal and then make up claims of damage and charge me additional money to get what you should have charged in the first place. Paying for a service is one thing being cheated is entirely another. Move Mee you really need to partner with better providers. Will never use again. The fact that 50% of your reviews on this site are Bad should tell you something. I have seen your replies about what didn't work and why people had issues, but really, do a root cause analysis and be better.
