If I’m honest this whole process with move me has been the worst I’ve had hiring a car. I constantly got send emails asking me to fill in details I already had done, and I’m still getting them now even though I’ve returned the car.
My reception at green motion was awful and I absolutely knew I would get stung for something. As a result I never felt comfortable driving the car, getting a cab twice to avoid parking it in a public place. Even on return they didn’t want to know me, stating that if there are any issues or charges that they would contact move mee and I would get charged.
Regarding the mileage, I got told by a advisor to check the mileage and put in a few miles more to be safe. Alluding to me actually having to check the number on the mileage and putting more fuel in, not issuing the bars. I’m sure you have this call recorded. I then got charged £18.75 extra even though I sent proof in via live pics.
I will absolutely never be using move mee again, it was a huge pain, although your staff have been helpful, I’ve had to call up five times with questions and queries. What a waste of my time and yours

ENORME ARNAQUE! A EVITER ABSOLUMENT!! A savoir: MOVEME sous-traite à des agences qui se comportent comme des escrocs: on vous remet une voiture dans un état lamentable (impossible d'utiliser le système de retrait du véhicule sans contact Moveme, la voiture étant trop vieille...) et dangereuse : le loueur a refusé de changer le véhicule à moins de payer 900 euros supplémentaires (!), malgré nos nombreuses alertes, et nous avons frôlé un accident grave sur l'autoroute en Grèce. Nous nous sommes retrouvés, choqués, sur l'autoroute, et MOVEME, quand quelqu'un daigne vous répondre, vous renvoie vers le loueur, et ne vous apporte AUCUNE AIDE NI SOUTIEN. De plus, le loueur vous facture des frais au montant ahurissant pour tout problème ou toute demande, et MOVEME s'en lave les mains. A éviter donc à tout prix!!

I did a mistake and I booked one day earlier. I Call Greece rep and they told me OK no problem you will take it tomorrow with a minor penalty. Also they told me to call next day In the morning.
I did that and they told me they will be back
Nobody called back and as I was worried I called them 4 hours before my flight and they told me sorry your car is cancelled
I told them this is not true I call them so many times telling them what is going on and the last time before my flight they sorry?

Buyer beware
Buyer beware! Use Hertz, Enterprise, or just take an Uber!! Their customer service is non-existent. They stated I signed up for a car that I wasn’t even on a trip for and then charged an additional 70 dollars with no exceptions for an additional driver even though I would never be driving the vehicle. The site in all in Euros so needs to be converted last minute. All information that was needed on the app was for the driver which was a driver license, passport, selfie, credit card etc but that was a separate entity completely. Just save yourself the hassle and don’t book here.
Responding to your response…that is not true. If the account was in my name that is one thing I never put the rental In my name as I was never going on the trip. Even still I have never heard of not being able to change names on the car. This has been done even third party with other car companies. Actually I did it in July with Hertz no extra charge at all. Again 70 dollars for an extra driver is ridiculous to begin with

J'ai loué un véhicule en cette compagnie tout s'est bien passé jusqu'à la restitution du véhicule ou l'on n'a pas voulu me rendre les 140 € que j'avais avancé et qu'on devait me rendre à la fin si tous se passait bien

Good idea but wouldn’t use them again
The idea of only having to use an app to pick up your car is great but too many issues along the way to use them again. Additionally, as they are only an agent instead of the rental company, if anything goes wrong, all they do is pass the blame onto the rental company and do not take any responsibility.
For example, in my case, I was charged £95 for a valet service (Rental company - Green Motion) as the vehicle was supposedly heavily soiled, sand in the boot and everywhere in the vehicle (I would love to upload a photo to show the extent of this but it doesn’t seem I can). In reality it was a small amount of sand in the drivers foot well and behind the drivers seat. We stopped on the way back to the airport for a walk and it was raining so I am not sure how I could of returned it any cleaner. I would of thought the standard clean would of been sufficient to clean up the sand.
I understand that Move Mee are not the rental company and are just acting as a middle man but as I booked with them and not Green Motion I expect Move Mee to be reasonable and act in my best interest. Unfortunately they do not comment on whether they think this is reasonable and continue to pass comments between myself and Green Motion. So many opportunities for this to be a positive experience but they didn’t seem interested.
If they continue to associate themselves with companies that are unreasonable and continue to not act in the customers interest then I am not sure how they will improve customer relations.
So to conclude, great idea but plenty to improve upon.

One of the worst experiences of my entire life. They say they are 'hassle free' but I suffered non-stop hassle from start to finish. Their app is atrocious. It didn't verify my documents so gad to go through a long-winded manual verification process that then didn't show up on the app. Plus i had to change planes and fly to a different nearby airport but, because i cancelled my booking within 24 hours, was charged The Whole Amount! And then had to book a completely new rental vehicle. I advise everyone to avoid them like the plague.
After posting this review I received a patronising response from this dreadful company barely acknowledging their incompetence or unhelpful attitude. I re-iterate. DO NOT USE THEM

Claim to be digital
Claim to be digital - but are analog as the other ones. Main problem is that they work with no trustworthy companies. Movemee is just an agent. I rented a car in Rhodes and the rental agency ( greenline) gave us a so called brand new ac with tons of dents. Since I have not documented every little dent they charged me after return more than 500 € for the repair. They even said it was covered by the insurance of movemee, but it wasn‘t. PLEASE KEEP YOUR FINGERS OFF

i scraped a wheel and they charged me £750. when i questioned it i was told as it was so badley damaged that they also had to track and balance all 4 wheels
all i did was scrape against a kerb.
then when i asked for the wheel to prove they replaced i was told it was already disposed of

Avoid hiring a car here
First thing first the app you need to use to get the car is totally useless so frustrating over 2 hours I was on it drove me nuts
So tryed calling the phone number no answer still waiting on them getting back to me
And for the £1250 deposit you need to put onto your credit card is shocking
You have to phone them to pick you up asked if I can get the address to go there myself NO we come pick you up at airport
Got took back to the airport with Louis Hamilton idiot driving a mini bus flying over the speed bumps myself and a older lady were bouncing out the seats
ASKED ONE FOR THERE STAFF TO LOOK AT THE CAR I JUST RETURNED

I JUST WANTED THE CAR LOOKED OVER AS I WANTED MY FULL DEPOSIT BACK

The car was ok I got but again you need to try put photos on the app THAT DIDNOT UPLOAD when you return car you need to post more pics of the car

Don't waste your time
Buggy app, which took ages to get through all the repeat validations of ID, license etc. as I constantly had to restart the process. Not really sure of the point of the app either as you'll need all the documents to collect the car anyway; basically just extra steps compared to a normal rental. Poor customer service as well, it took an hour for me to get through to request a refund and was then told they'd look into my request and get back to me... It's now been over a month and I've given up.

Horrendous service
Horrendous service. Complete opposite to what was advertised. Ended up having to wait in queue for 40 minutes to add an extra driver. The man on the counter in the Green Motion Car Park (Edinburgh Airport) hadn’t got a clue what was happening. I asked for a manual car and got an automatic. Didn’t dare complain at the time as we were seriously delayed as it was. Got a fine from Edinburgh Council for driving in bus Lane but the company will not send me a copy of the fine and were extremely efficient at removing the money from my account. Avoid at all costs.
