Hi Imogen,

Thank you for review, although the feedback being less than positive on our best selling product, that is the challenge.with selling footwear, to one person its brilliant and the next person its not!

Imogen the Vim, has never been advertised as being waterproof, so apologies if along the journey we have miss led you, its always been advertised as water resistant which it is 100%.

The rubber used in this process is natural rubber, to be fair whilst we listen and and share all the reviews, i do not seem to recall any issues with the rubber being stiff and unable to offer any flex while you walk. Apologies this must be again a specific issue the affected the fit and comfort attributes when you used the boots.

Under normal circumstances Imogen we would happily exchange the products or refund, however if the products have been worn outside its impossible to do this, as we are then left with a pair of partially worn boots that we would not be able to re sell.

Please accept our apologies for your experience, this is not what our aims are, to the contrary we want all of our customer to enjoy the experience and be comfortable in our products.

I hope this hasn't put you off visiting the site again in the future, we hope to see you again.

We continue to do our bit towards the ethical foot print that is so important to everybody involved with the business, as well as continually sourcing and exploring new materials for new designs etc.

The Piper is a great boot and has been consistent best selling style for the last three years, hand made in a lovely supplier in Portugal.

We are delighted that you are pleased with your purchase, great news.

You were lucky with the prompt shipment as we have been experiencing massive issues with couriers companies for the last 4-6 weeks now, i'm guessing its been down to COVID infections and staff shortages, like we have all faced, however the ability to speak to anybody in customer services, in an attempt to help, in the key courier companies has been a nightmare.

Probably non-existent !

The boots are hand made in Portugal, and have been a hugely popular item within the collection for the last 4-5 years.

Lets hope they continue to keep you smiling and at the same time, warm, dry and comfortable!!

We have updated the line for SS22, all from the sample great supplier in Sri Lanka however updated designs, with some great new branding and colour applications. We hope to land this line around Mid March 22.

Hi Tara,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

I have replied to your e mail that you sent this evening with an update.

The two pairs of slippers have been dispatched and will be with you early next week, i am afraid the final item has sold out and not available, we have refunded this, in full this evening.

We have experienced issues with our warehouse, having to close for 10 days and losing 90% of our staff with COVID related illnesses. I am delighted to say that all 4 warehouse staff are safe and well and fully recovered.

Apologies but the staff remain a thoroughly important asset in the business and they must come first.

Losing the ability to access and operate through our warehouse was a real challenge and caused us noticeable issues at our busiest time of the year.

You are 1005 correct the level of service hasn't been up to our normal level and for that please accept my apologies, we are working tirelessly on the back log and trying where we can to speak to as many of our customers daily, as we can.

Fingers crossed that they will remain comfortable & keep you warm and dry!!

Great news with regards to the delivery as we have experienced massive issues with couriers and shipments in the last 6-8 weeks, unprecedented really, all blamed on COVID, unfortunately the level of shipping itself as well as the follow up customer service has been appalling.

Thank you for your feedback and please accept my apologies that the level of service hasn't been anywhere near what we would expect.

The automated review request is being withdrawn as its annoying and unnecessary.

We have had our challenges - there is absolutely no getting away from that and when people are concerned we take this seriously.

OK your particular boots unfortunately will not be shipped, as we do not have your size available, i will authorize a full refund immediately. This particular style exceed our own expectation in the run up to the Christmas period.

Considering your own experience your probably will not be interested, however the VIM is just being ship from Sri Lanka to our warehouse as we have been able to obtain more production at short notice and will be with us in around 3 weeks.

Please accept my apologies for this experience and for the business not being able to deliver a product you ordered.

We hope to see you again on the store if your able to help the existing boots last a few more weeks!!

Thank you, very kind.

I'm afraid you have me again as we are struggling with staff sickness within the business, so its all hands to the deck!!! We have experienced a challenging 2-3 weeks with COVID, staff sickness, (thankfully all the employees are safe and fully recovered), poor service by our courier partners and a warehouse closure, all part of the joys of owning a business!!!

Really happy that your experience was positive, this is what we all aim to achieve. Sometimes we do make mistakes and errors happen with our external partners, but we always try and help, be transparent, and look at ways as to how we can resolve any issues that could crop up.

Hope to see you again soon on the site, BTW hopefully soon, we will be opening a USA distribution hub which will make shipping much faster and allot cheaper.

I like to often use quotes in our marketing material, i have to ask permission if we could use your feedback as a simple quote with your sign off as Sophie - London. Nothing else to identify you at all, we were looking for three articles and up till this evening had two, so this would make the initiative complete.

Thank you for your review, although its clearly nowhere near the quality we are used to or would like to see.

I have e mailed you through your private a e mail address with a couple of options to this delay in shipping your order.

We have as i have outlined been struggling with staff in the warehouse and our office with staff having to self isolate with COVID, our warehouse was closed for 10 days with no access allowed to anybody 1 week prior to the Christmas break.

Thankfully all of the staff are safe and well and recovered 100%.

We have experienced horrendous issues with normally reliable couriers over the past 4-6 weeks, which has been in the main blamed on COVID and staffing issues or the lack of staff.

We also experienced our own internal issues relating to COVID where our warehouse was closed and staff had to self isolate for 10 days, thankfully all the staff are now safe and well and back to work.

I do apologise about the level of service that you received, although thank you so much for your understanding and patience.
