It was easy to do, great memories.

Possibly the worst customer service I’ve encountered. Months ago we made 3 out of 4 travel books for our trip through India Indonesia and New Zealand. The 4th book does not load, we can’t edit it or finish it. Numerous emails to customer service have been ignored or replied to with short irrelevant messages and now we are nearly in April and our travel books for our trip last winter 2024/25 incomplete. Useless

Loved using Polarsteps to record our journey and allow friends and family to come along to, from a distance - a most rewarding experience! A forever keepsake, for sure!

Werkt gemakkelijk. We maakten nooit albums, maar sinds we polarsteps gebruiken wel.

The travel book produced is of a high standard. The photo's look amazing

Polarsteps is very nice to upload photo's and short video's from locations you are traveling to. People you allow can follow your voyage and see the highlights of your trip. Making a book afterwards is a bit challenging but worth the effort because in the end you have a beautiful journal of your voyage.

Prachtig boek je kunt zelf de foto’s nog rangschikken waar je ze wil hebben of nog eventueel nog foto’s toevoegen als je het boek maakt. Luxe foto boek die je het verhaal verteld over je reis compleet met temperatuur en hoogtes erbij.

Es war eine Überraschung, was alles in dem Buch steht. Bei meinem nächsten Buch werde ich nur Bilder in den jeweiligen Step stellen, die auch in das spätere Buch hinein sollen. Es ist ein toller Überblick über unsere Reise, ich war überrascht, dass auch Bemerkungen in das Buch übernommen wurden. Also werde ich bei der nächsten Reise auch darauf achten, was ich da hinein schreibe. Man lernt halt dazu.

Grundsätzlich eine tolle app! Ich habe bei den Kommentaren einige Male persönlich geantwortet und dabei die Funktion „Antwort an xxxx“ genutzt. Trotzdem konnten das alle Follower lesen, ist das änderbar?

Fantastic app which helped us map and record our trip in New Zealand. We could upload our photos and experiences daily which ended up as a fabulous photo book which we will always have

Ik gebruik Polarsteps bijna vanaf het begin en ben super enthousiast. Wat begon als 'dagboek' om later nog te weten waar je bent geweest werd later een medium om je vakantie belevenissen met familie en vrienden te delen. En niet te vergeten de mogelijkheid om naderhand een fotoalbum te maken gebaseerd op je steps uit de app!

The Polarsteps app is free and easy to use. I had tried others, but the ability to track and share your trip in real time with followers, with no limit on text, photos & short videos was the deciding factor for me. It has numerous useful features and can be used with automated tracking, or you can do it manually as you go along - even after the trip if you missed a step. The app is free as the company make their money from selling you the photobook afterwards. This hardback book is printed on quality paper and the photographs look amazing. You choose your own cover photo and title and can arrange your photos to your own liking, making some as full-page spreads and others in groups. The information (date, location, altitude, weather, etc) and my own narrative is well presented at the start of each step. We had been on a 6-week trip to Aotearoa/New Zealand and I had no problem creating the largest possible book: 398 pages! It's a huge volume that makes a fantastic 'coffee table' book for guests to browse through. I wish I'd known about Polarsteps earlier - we've done many trips that this format would be perfect to capture for posterity. I will definitely be using the app again to share our adventures in real-time and to create permanent memories of our future adventures.

Once I'd got the hang of using the app it was so easy to use. The book is very well presented although there are are a few mistakes which I know aren't mine!

Eenvoudig, snel en met mooi resultaat afdrukken. Enige twee minpunten zijn is dat je niet van 2 reizen 1 boek kan maken en dat je niet zelf kan kiezen welke foto waar moet komen en hoe groot.
Klantenservice reageert wanneer nodig snel. We maken er al een paar jaar gebruik van en 1 keer aangegeven dat de kleuren niet goed waren. Na een foto daarvan gestuurd te hebben kregen we zonder gedoe een nieuw exemplaar.

We ordered a travel book (86€), but the print quality was very disappointing.

The original photos we uploaded were high quality, yet in the final book they appeared to be heavily downscaled, resulting in blurry and low-quality prints.

After contacting customer service, we received a reprint. I explained that the problem likely originates from the book creation tool compressing the images, and indeed this book was of very bad quality aswel. I have never received a follow-up response from their customer service.

Polar Steps is the best way to log your trip with photos and narrative that is easy to use and produces a top quality book. It looks so professional with excellent quality photos arranged as you choose. A way of treasuring memories forever.
