Emailed them a number of times, weren't helpful, were unable to order any guitars in, did not read emails properly.

You try to support smaller stores and you're met with small minds.

I have now Purchased two guitars through ProjectMusic.
Firstly a Godin XTsa when I visited the store in Exeter 2019 and recently this month, I purchase a Fender Telecaster 50s Vinters in Butterscotch Blonde on line.

I can only describe the service by Lee and ProjectMusic as first class.

Really impressed with Project Music. Just bought a guitar for a ‘significant birthday’ and couldn’t be happier. The instrument is wonderful and plays beautifully. It has been set up perfectly too. The guys in the shop couldn’t have been more helpful (we live a distance away so I could never go in person) and the delivery was very prompt. I really couldn’t have asked for more.

Just bought my second guitar for a good price from Project music. I have found the staff to be curtious and helpful and the guitar was set up nicely.
I am very happy with the price.

Being a sax player I was clueless when my daughter took up guitar. So when it came to buying one for her I had to ask a few questions.
Lee from Project music has always got back to me promptly and has been able to give fantastic advice with great product knowledge.
Unfortunately, the guitar I was looking to buy went out of stock just when I was looking to buy it but rather than take my money and hope it would arrive before Christmas, lee told me they couldn’t guarantee it would be back in stock.
I did source the guitar elsewhere but will be going back to project music to buy all the accessories as I feel they are more interested in helping the musician than helping line their pockets.
Brilliant service, honest and knowledgeable advice. Can’t rate highly enough.

I have now bought three guitars from Project Music. On each occasion I have felt that a love of musical instruments and customer satisfaction plays a greater part in their business than profit.

Where any negotiation has taken place they are scrupulously fair and open. Finally, and unlike many English businesses, their Free Delivery includes shipping, at no extra cost to The Scottish Highlands...in two days!

Fantastic service and customer attention. I ordered a guitar that was a new list item from Gretsch. They ensured that I got it as fast as possible and at an excellent price. Their customer service and communications were second to none.

My Local guitar shop. On Saturday the 27th of January my amp stopped working. I had not purchased the amp from Project Music but was hoping they could help me as I had a gig Sunday lunchtime. Unfortunately the fault was not something that could be rectified easily and the amp has been sent away for repair. The reason for the review is that even though I didn't buy the amp form them they lent me a demo model to get me through my gig. They just got a new customer for life as I don't think many other independent shops would care enough to help like this.

I placed an order with this company and instead of my guitar I received a story that insulted my intelligence. I then sent an email requesting cancellation of my finance application without any response. Very poor customer service. Never again will I order from this place.

I bought a set a white EMG pickups from these guys for my bass. I couldn't get them in white any where else apart from importing them from America. They gave me a call to say they would have to order them in and would take a bit longer than stated on the website.

I have given 4 stars because this did end up taking a few weeks when I was expecting a few days extra from the initial conversation. However the people who work there are good guys, they kept in touch and offered me updates via email and phone calls which is really appreciated.

Really good customer service and communication, would give 5 stars if the pickups arrived quicker but I would have thought that was out of their hands anyway!

The guitar looks lovely but plays poorly.
A set up is supposed to be done. But, it isn't set up , or set up aboninably by a chimp.
Fret buzz , dead notes , incorrect intonation, etc etc.

I've just bought a Fender from Project Music, and I have to say that they are a fantastic retailer. The whole procedure has probably been the best customer service experience I've had when buying (anything) on-line. I have received email responses in minutes, and they thoroughly check the guitar before sending it to you, and really go out of their way to help. They aim to beat any price that you can find elsewhere, and I will definitely be using them for all future guitar related purchases. If what you're after isn't displayed on the site, just ask and they'll probably have one. Can't praise them enough.

Very happy and will definately use them again.
