Had 2 head shaver,such poor quality neither have lasted.Will buy other brands from now on

They sent me the wrong item (straightners instead of curlers which were half the price)

So difficult to get hold of anyone and an absolute lack of care / customer service. So disheartening and disappointing when I specifically told them it was a Christmas gift. I went out of my way to follow their instruction and return the incorrect item which was an inconvenience to myself and then I sent proof and have heard nothing since. So now I am not going to be receiving the curlers in time for Christmas when I told them it was a gift. It was delivered to me on the 14th December so they had so much time to sort it for me in time for Christmas yet refused / ignored me and just made me rush to return it for nothing.

Absolute shambles of an experience. It was their mistake and they have absolutely no sense of urgency to fix the situation.

By far the worst shaver I ever owned.
I made the mistake of being impressed by the shaver booklet stating that Remington started in New York.
The one I bought, the Style Series Foil Shaver, was made in China and never provided me with a good
shave while making a horrendous noise.
I decided to recycle it at the tip after a week of trying to shave with it. and had to as the idiotic, poorly designed system for removing the cutters and then putting them back in the shaver, fell to bits when I tried to put it back after a clean. I pressed a silly little object which then took off and I lost the part that held it in.
Fortunately I kept my old Phillips shaver which is a far better design all round.

I recently bought a hair straightener and so far it has been working great! Just it kind of smells like plastic so hoping that will wear off.

Useless Brand. I wish I read these reviews before purchasing any thing from them. Bought a hair Straightener that only lasted one month after which it blew up. And while my product is still very much within the 5 year warranty period, a customer representative has asked me to change the fuse like i am a technician of some sort. Cant wait for this brand's demise!!!
Scammers!

I bought a 5 blade head shaver on the basis of Remington being a brand name, and offering a 3 year guarantee.
Unfortunately my device has developed a fault.
I have contacted customer services via email, providing all details.
The are demanding a video shared via a public link, which I have no idea how to do.
Seems very odd to me, I've already wasted 3 emails and multiple photos and I'm no further forward.
My advice is to avoid Remington, they are not honourable in their warranty service.
****Update, eventually received a warranty replacement but process long winded and chaotic. I've moderated my rating.

Unkomplizierter Austausch eines defekten Gerätes. Amazon konnte es nicht so schnell. Kompetenter Kundenservice und sehr freundlich.

Hatte eine Remington vor 2 Jahren gekauft und war nun defekt. Der Service ging schnell und es wurde mir ohne Garantie mit einem neuen Gerät ersetzt! Super Service gerne wieder.

Bought the shine therapy hair straighteners. I was pleasantly surprised .they work as well as the £179 ghd’d I had previously and are a fraction of the price. The only thing is that they take a while to heat up! Also have a 6 year warranty which is promising

Hatte mir vor knapp 3 Jahren eine Rundbürste der Marke Remington gekauft.
Diese hatte kurz vor Ende der 3 jährigen Garantie einen Kurzschluss.

Wurde aber problemlos ersetzt.

Bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Gerät und dem Service. 👍🏼

Jeg købte en remington blow out børste da min egen var gået i stykker og skulle bruge en i en fart, selvom jeg har givet den en chance på 2 måneder for at teste produktet ville jeg ikke anbefalde dette stykke elektronik til nogen som helst, den hiver hårene ud, larmer ligeså meget som når et fly letter, jeg får så ondt i ørene af at bruge produktet at jeg er nødsaget til at putte ørepropper i, jeg har henvendt mig i Bilka hvor produktet er købt, da jeg troede det var en produktionsfejl at den larmede så meget, Bilka tog den ind og testede den, dog var der ikk noget galt med det, og det var præcis sådan produktet skulle lyde, det giver mig så kruset hår, at jeg er så pist på remington, det er en ommer, og helt tilgrin er det, når i har fremstillet hår elektronik i så mange år så forventer man sku en smule kvalitet, jeg har prøvet meget forskelligt hår elektronik, og har tidligere ejet både glattejern, og krøllejern fra remington som der aldrig har været problemer med, men denne her børste kan jeg på ingen måder anbefalde, det er faktisk det værste elektronik jeg har ejet i mine 32 år. Hvis jeg kunne havde jeg givet jer -20 stjerner så havde i fået det, for det så meget mit hår er ødelagt efter brug af denne her børste, i burde lukkes ned .

Ich habe den Rasierapparat im Internet vor einigen Monaten gekauft und bin damit sehr zufrieden. Von Vorteil ist es, daß er keinen Akku hat, der nach nicht zu langer Zeit meist schwach und unbrauchbar wird. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist gut. Ich kann das Gerät nur weiter empfehlen.

A piece detached from the head of my Remington shaver 1 month after purchase. I contacted Remington sending photos of the fault. Their response was appalling! They emailed to say they it was their opinion, that I hadn’t cleaned or maintained the shaver in the correct way over a long period of time, which had caused the damage. They offered to send me a new head for the shaver on condition I contacted their customer service team by phone to pay for it, but warned that it may take quite some time to get through as they were experiencing a high volume of calls! Hardly surprising if their products are of such poor quality and their customer service non existent!
To anyone thinking of buying from Remington, My advice would be DON’T.

I bought a Remington F4 shaver a while ago it provided good service. I needed a new cutter head but discovered the cost was about 75% of the price if the shaver so I bought a new shaver. After less than 6 months head the cutter head was already pulling so I contacted Remington I was told that the warranty did not apply to the cutter head but they had the heads in stock at a reasonable price and suggested I bought two. I was told that they would contact me about the sale and payment and that they used a range if different telephone numbers so I could not contact them. A few days later I received an email saying that the cutters were out of stock and would not be available for two months. I said in response to a survey that this was probably the worst service I had ever had from any similar company. I got no reply and will never purchase another Remington product, having used Remington shavers all my life!

£100 beard and hair clippers stopped working after 3 uses and the customer service was absolutely appaling one person hung up on me the didn't want to help at all thankfully the shop however was kind enough to take the return I however will be avoiding Rimington from now on

I needed some spare parts for my very old Remington electric hair & beard trimmer. I emailed them. They replied after a couple of days. (That was expected) Very helpful at getting the right part. They are now in the post. Thank you Remington!

I bought a remington hairdryer from argos, it's light weight and powerful which satisfied me enormously.
But last week , I used to try my hair , the nozzle was melting like chocolate , I couldn’t belive my eyes at allllllll.
