Cheap crap…feels like a toy
Remington colourcut….absolutely the cheapest piece of crap I’ve ever tried cutting hair with..feels cheap it feels like a toy..very light and the motor has hardly any power what so ever..waste of Time buying these..never buying anything Remington again..the fact everything on them is so cheap and crappy make them awful to use…just so they can make more money disgusted

Their team member answered my enquiry promptly, confirmed my faulty item was covered by their 3 year warranty and despatched an identical replacement, which I received within 7 days by tracked delivery.

Remington F3 rechargeable shaver…
Bought this F3 rechargeable shaver January 2022, and already the batteries are on their way out. Batteries not holding a full charge as long as the previous model (F3800).The shave quality is ok, but needs charging after 2 shaves.Been buying Remington shavers since the 80`s, they would last about 3 years, but dont see this one lasting that long. Dont recommend, but what else can you buy for this price?

Leaving this review following a very dismissive customer service repsonse.- I had bought a hair dryer around four years ago, well within the five year guarantee. This hair dryer was a replacement for another that also blew up withim days of first use whilst using it. This dryer has also blown up shattering numerous plastic shards in my face around my sitting area whilst drying. Something in the back of the fan appeared to blow breaking into tiny clear plastic shards inside. Very very dangerous I was very worried to touch the electrics to take out of the wall power clearly a significant fault with this design.
Had problems with Remington skull…
Had problems with Remington skull shaver, shaver unit had to be charged after only 3-4 uses, contacted customer services and spoke to Stefan, I was asked to provide proof of purchase and take picture of the shaver after a couple of weeks I was asked to supply a video of the fault which I sent to Stefan, it was agreed that a new shaver would be supplied.
Thank you to Stefan who has dealt with my complaint from start to finish

These Heated rollers are dangerous !
I purchased heated rollers from remmington ! They are terrible hit and no cut off on heating up ! Trying to put in when cooled and still burned my hand on metal in curlers ! It’s impossible to put these in ! The holder is very fiddly and putting them away fif the next use takes about ten minutes !! This box of heated rollers are not suitable for any market Edie silly older people ! And maybe teenaged who might leave them on !!! They will over heat v quickly and no safety switch off !!!

Seems like a cheap made in China product. Contacted customer services but their website is so clunky and doesn’t work well with inputting your contact details in.
Awaiting a Custer service response within 1-2 days but I’m not holding my breath for a replacement.
Won't honour warranty
Bought a razor that stopped working during warranty. Wrote to customer service to request a new one but they wouldn't give me one because I couldn't provide the serial number for the razor that they claimed was printed on the plastic. I sent them pictures of every inch of the razor demonstrating that there was no such number and now they aren't even responding to my emails. I was dealing with Stefan, who couldn't have cared less.
Bought a hair trimmer and the comb…
Bought a hair trimmer and the comb attachment broke after about 6 weeks. Customer service said they needed a video to prove the comb was broken - sent the video now they won't respond. Three months later, 15 emails (they won't answer the phone) and they no longer respond. Not sure what else you can do with a company who have outsourced their customer service to a company that doesn't care.
Poorly designed and supported product
I bought the Quick Cut hair trimmers from Remington. These are electric clippers to which you attach plastic combs to the desired length. Problem is the plastic combs are so fragile they break after a few uses and then won't stay on the clippers. I've been backwards and forwards with Remington. They sent me a full set of new combs (when I only requested one size of comb). But the comb just broke again within a few uses, plus all the other combs are useless to me as they are the wrong length. Basically, the combs don't last long and they don't sell them individually which is wasteful and not environmentally friendly. I'd be having to buy full sets of new combs every few weeks just to get the one that I need. Plus they won't do anything about the issue now, so I have a fairly new razor that is useless to me... shall I just chuck it in landfill then?

Warranty... What warranty!?
The warranties provided aren't worth the paper they're written on.
After 13 months, one of the comb attachments had issues and a few of the plastic prongs had snapped off.
Contacted Remington to be told that the attachments are only covered for 6 months. So the 3 year (Plus the extra year for registering) isn't really worth anything at all.
I was then told I could buy a single replacement attachment for £12.30. This is for a device that cost £30 new.
Absolutely awful company
Absolutely awful company. Took ages to reply to a faulty product and then wouldn't honour warranty as I couldn't provide a copy of the receipt. I purchased a set of straighteners three and a half years ago and warranty is covered for four years. I registered the product when I originally bought the item and obviously after all this time the receipt faded and is no longer readable. There is now wiring showing so dangerous to use. Customer service totally unhelpful.
