Remington MS5120 rip-off

The small foil on my Remington MS5120 invariably breaks before any sign of failure of the two larger foils, but you can only buy packs of all three foils which are expensive. A rip-off!

Superlative Service

Superlative service from start to finish with Alex S at Product Support. I spoke to him on the Monday regarding my product (5 blade head shaver) which had stopped working. The usual requests for proof of purchase, date (purchased in February) etc. (via Amazon) were provided. My emails were responded to within an hour of each one. By the following morning my problem was resolved and my product replaced. He restored my faith in Customer Service. A huge thanks!!!

Remington PF7500 Rubbish.

I bought a Remington shaver online from Amazon.I Purchased it September 2021. By February 2022 the foil had developed a hole & cut my face.I purchased an expensive replacement foil & cutter set.April 2022 just two months later that too had developed a hole in the foil & again cut me.I complained to the retailer who sent a replacement.
Now today two months later that too has split.I ring Remington UK & speak to a Gentleman clearly in a call centre abroad who informs me that as I had'nt purchased the items direct from Remington they cannot help me.How many people buy direct from a manufacturer? Remington are a joke & an expensive one.Avoid.
Trading standard should thoroughly investigate this company.

This Remington Omniblade is the worst product I ever bought... Had to buy some shaver quikly because I forgot my shaver shaver at home and I tought they have good shaver, ouh boy I have been wrong.

FUBAR

FUBAR. I dissapeared up my own posterior looking for a replacement foil 8MS3K for Remington shaver. It has to be the most difficult website I have ever negotiated. Spent 1/2 an hour, got nowhere. Found one in U.S.A but the postage was dearer than the part. I think I'll just chuck it and stay wet.

Right to repair - lousy customer service also

Right to repair - Remington needs to act not obstruct my husband has a reliable beard razor MB 4045. The cutter needs replacing -it is easily deatchable and replaceable. Remington customer service confirms that they do not stock the spare part - he had consulted a helpful private service centre. They had advised me to call Remingtons to double-check and to ask if they have one, or to get a code for a discount for part of cost a new razor. The first time I call - no reply in 30 mins. Second time I am promised a link so I can upload photos. There is supposed to be a 5 digot code on the cutter. (There isn't - we checked.) The link hasnt been sent, so we have no way of sending in my request. Remongtons clearly hasnt heard of the pressure for a right to repair - or to train their customer service agents properly. We recognise its hard with WFH restarting this week.

Excellent customer service

When i had a problem with my hairdryer and rang them, they were superb, excellent customer service, the rectified the problem immediately. this is what customer service should be like. well done!

Terrible I got a hair dryer within two…

Terrible I got a hair dryer within two weeks it was cutting out while using on wet hair! Obviously it wasn’t wired tidy! Then completely stopped working and still no response other than asking the same questions over and over to buy time! This has been weeks and still not sorted

If I could give minus stars I would. I brought a trimmer Feb 21 by July 21 it had broke. I contacted customer service in August upset that the product hadn’t even lasted 6 months. Replies are slow and inconsistent I have two case number as they cannot folllow one trail, dealt with by a different person each time. I have used their online form, customer service email and Facebook and all mediums were useless. After several back and forths sending repeat pictures of the appliance as they didn’t seem to register I had already sent them date codes and proof of purchase they finally offered to replace the item. 15 days later (they advised 7-10 days for shipping) item not received. Contacted customer service again who advised it was delivered and signed for… asked for proof of this as I haven’t received it and work from home so wouldn’t of missed it, no reply contacted again to chase reply and was sent another case number that said proof of delivery… with NO PROOF!

This is the worse customer service I have ever received. They are incompetent and their products are unreliable. I will not be buying anything manufactured by Remington or partner companies again and will be advising friends and family to do the same especially with Christmas approaching.

Nu køber jeg en Moser i stedet for.

Remington volume and curl air styler

I bought the Remington volume and curl air styler and it seemed to be working fine after a couple of months it would get really hot , my hair is thick and long so thought it was because of the time I had it on but that isn’t the case it literally gets so hot within a minute of using it now and it’s so hot my hair feels too hot to touch and I can smell burning the attachments always come loose and fall off and I’m unable to pick it up because of hot it is and the straightener attachment has melted slightly and now I literally start using it and within 30 seconds it switches off because it has overheated, that is not safe and it should not be doing it that I’m scared to use it now in case it fuses as it’s switching off every 30 seconds. Really unhappy with the product.

Extremely poor customer service…

I purchased a remmington shine therapy straighteners, and on it's 5th use something snapped and they wouldn't open (was in mid flow of straightening my hair). This caused them to shut down rather than ping open causing burns.
The customer service is disgusting emailed the 20th August since you cannot get through on their number, had 2 different people ask for information and it has all been sent across to them, still no response from them after this.
I used to buy alot of remmington products but I won't be again, and with this i will have to go down a different route i suppose.

I purchased a Remington R-4150 Shaver a little while ago. I found that it cannot be used while its plugged in / charging. ALWAYS keep it on charge when you are not using it, if not you may come to a time when its run down, you can't shave at all or even worse end up with half a shave, and you have a very important business meeting that day!!! This is one product that you should be able to use while its plugged in / charging.

I purchased an IPL hair removal device…

I purchased an IPL hair removal device which worked great until it recently burned me on my face/chin.
I got into contact with the company to see if they could repair it so it was still safe for use.
They took it and checked it over and are telling me they found no fault so will send it back, and also that they cannot accept liability for any injuries.
I didn't ask them to. I didn't ask for any compensation or even a replacement, just a repair.
Their defensiveness strikes me as odd, really rude customer service.
