There was no problems with contacting the company with queries or with receiving my interest payments month by month. The final closing of the accounts for my deceased husband was a bit traumatic but I suppose that's because they have to make sure no fraud is taking place. All in all I have no complaints.

Secure Trust pays competitive interest rates. In this particular instance, I had contacted the customer service helpline on 6 July to request a tax certificate for an account that had closed (unfortunately my internet banking was disabled in 2022 after a mix up over my membership ID number). The tax cert didn't arrive the first time (lost in the post?) but after a 2nd request, when I spoke to Anita on 12 August, it arrived within 24 hours.

Very smooth transaction from start to finish. My 2 year fixed rate has just matured and no issues at all. Very pleased and would highly recommend.

Tried to download a statement for my new bond but was unable to. They are looking into the website design to see if they can make it more 'user friendly'.

You do need to have a statement when you have just invested, rather than wait a year for it when the first interest rate has been applied.

I gave them some money for 2 years, they gave me more back as promised. They did change the mobile app half way through which was a pain as I lost mobile access, but hey, they delivered on their promise which was the highest interst rate at the time.

Chaotic. It is impossible to transfer money to a new account. A new profile is generated and causes problems. Staff are helpful and friendly but they computer systems cause the problems. Allow a day or more plus several phone calls to get a resolution to what should be a very simple operation.

Over the years of dealing with Secure Trust I have found their service, communication and patience on the phone superb. Their rates of interest are normally better than average too. A pleasure to deal with.
