Was just about to give SIMS a go - was initially a bit put off by the excessive prices for CW Fish - Then I read the reviews over the last 12 months- and no Way am I taking the gamble !

Absolutely awful service. I have ordered 3 times from this company.First time my fish never arrived and some lame excuse as the courier had mis routed them. I tried them again a few months later and this time had no issues. I then ordered some fish last week that never arrived.Again the same excuse that the courier had misrouted them and I would get them the next day. They never came then either . Had to chase my refund .I will never use these again if you want top service great quality fish at much better prices go to Tropco.

Not sure why SIMS tried to have my review taken down, maybe if you spent the same energy checking the fish you send out i wouldn't have dead fish and empty wallet.

Ordered 3 female and 1 alien male betta fish. Only 3 fish arrived , small male alien, small female blue and a very big female koi. As soon as i put the fish in the koi started displaying as a MALE. I contacted as fast as possible Sims, who assured me this was impossible as they get females elsewhere. WRONG, The now MALE koi killed the £50 alien and attacked all the females i had, killing another 2. I took the suspected koi MALE to local shop where it was confirmed it was MALE. Sims has always treated me well and sent out some free females to replace the BEATEN AND EATEN. The MALE Alien that i so wanted all this time is Dead and all i am left with is 6 finless females that i am nursing back to health. I spent £80 and have one more female fighter than i started with.The death and destruction has made me want to shut down my tank. Very sad...........

We had a excellent service from these and the fish are good quality very well packed . I know some reviews say about the prices but if you want quality you have to pay and our opinion is they are well worth the price we are doing another order as we are very pleased with ours.

I don't understand the bad reviews, my fish were delivered on time and packaged really well with heat packs that were still warm, the correct fish were sent alive, healthy and a better size than I was expecting.

bought 2xdiscus both turned up ill, dirty water sadly died refused to exchange or refund.£140.
they should be closed down, cruel to fish.

Ordered an axolotl which unfortunately passed away in transit. Couldn’t fault Sims who turned it around incredibly quickly despite the transport deadline passing before Christmas. Very grateful and went above and beyond. Thank you. Would highly recommend.

SIM TROPICAL ARE BUNCH THIEVES THEY OWE ME MY MONEY BACK AND THEY HAVE NOT REFUNDED, BUNCH OF TOSSERS, DONT BUY FISH OF THESE GUYS, YOU WILL ONLY GET SICK FISH IF THEM, AND THEY WILL ALL BE DEAD, THEY SEND FISH IN DIRTY WATER, THAT MAKE S FISH SICK IN TRANSPORT,

They just can’t be trusted I’ve ordered a few fish from them asking to supply male only, told me all there fish are male turns out sent all female, I hate people who lie I will never order from them again

Great fish, staff knew a lot and were helpful and answered all of my questions. Would definitely order from here again and recommend them.

I couldn’t decide what colour shrimp to have in my khuli loach tank I was able to get a mix of all different colours and all have settled in well. One looks like it might have babies.

Ordered a few fish, very quick turn around and fish were wonderful!

I’ve ordered twice from them. The fish have always been healthy but both times I ordered they didn’t send the exact fish I ordered. First time I ordered two ryukin and they sent me fantails. The next time I ordered they sent me an albino bristle nose pleco after I ordered a lemon blue eye bristle nose. I can’t fault the health of the fish but they weren’t quite what I wanted.

i ordered a pipefish through ebay. bought 2 more and a small cichlid from the website to add to the order. on the delivery day: no fish or msgs. no reply to my msgs. was finally told the courier had messed up and would deliver a day late. not great as delicate species, so msged back. no reply. box arrived the next day. tracking showed they'd lied about the day they'd posted. box contained none of the fish i ordered, and one sick little cichlid of a type i didn't order. he's now taking up a tank space, so i can't buy the right species from somewhere else. he did recover with medication. no replies to my msg's or requests for a refund. another box arrived the next wk, with no msg to check i'd be in, or let me know another box had been sent. contained twice the number of pipefish i bought, including one of another species, and they did look healthy and well fed. also contained another cichlid i hadn't bought, don't have space for, and am having to drive 1.5 hours to take to a home i found for him. i still don't have the cichlid i bought, and don't get replies to messages, including one about what parasite treatments the pipefish had, so i don't worm them unnecessarily. replying to msg's and offering refunds/ future purchases/ a wait to get the right fish would have solved most of the issues. The two big problems are that substitute fish are sent without asking, and msg's aren't replied to. other places sometimes have trouble getting the right fish, or there's a delay, but they communicate so it's no problem. i really don't understand why sim's doesn't do this.

Getting little late but very supportive and good quality and healthy fish, well packed. value for money. Highly recommend. Thank you....

Very poor. I ordered quite a few fish of which only 2 was what I ordered. Now waiting to see what they are going to do to rectify this. I also now have fish I didn’t want! This will not be going away had enough of there poor service, been bitten before and gave them the benefit but not this time. Fishes way too expensive to let it go again

ordered a super jelly head oranda goldfish and was sent out a different fish entirely and colour!
quality of the water and fish are terrible and im now stuck with fish i didnt order.
sims tropical fish is the supplier to other companies
reading many reviews seems like they send out any fish they deem fit.
