Ridiculously expensive for 2 power steering cables.

Semi FALSE ADVERTISING-VERY MISLEADING ADVERTISING.——They offer a “discount” if you’re a new customer but you have to spend an arm and a leg!

NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT!

Shipping was ridiculously expensive—-$25.00 for 2 (13”) rubber hoses and 2 metal attachments. The shipping costs were almost as expensive as the parts.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

The guys at SS396 went above and beyond after hearing my issues with FedEx and made it right. Most companies have a “that’s not us, not our problem” attitude. Not these guys. I will 1000% be a return customer for this project and the next.

FedEx was the problem, not you guys. My tracking said it would be here Thursday. Perfect timing. These trim pieces were the last thing to do before my car was done for a show/cruise on Saturday. The package was then lost in GA for 3 days and didn't show up until yesterday around noon....to the wrong address. Luckily I knew the neighbors who received it and they held onto it for me. Sheesh.

This is the second time my order showed up with the box all tore up and mailing tape put over the open up end of the box. It's amazing that small items make it with the size of the holes in the box. Also the packaging inside the box is very poor, the rear valence was all scratched up. This is the last time I will be using ss396 for parts for my chevelle.

$30 shipping on a $20 part and I chose standard shipping. Don't understand that.

I await a delivery of the 2026 sales catalog for Chevrolet Chevelle that has been requested. I’ve been reminded that a catalog can take additional time to make its journey across our Great Nation and will be patient in receiving this physical copy by mail.

I ordered a variety of parts revolving around suspension & steering components for a 71 Chevelle. I am pleased with the quality. 98% or the parts were in stock parts and promptly shipped from the same warehouse. The remaining items arrived in less than a week of the initial order. I ordered a 4 speed swap for a 70 monte carlo, the parts were amazing quality and pedals are great

Here is where the problem is that these cars rarely came with manuals and its not te same as the chevelles

They sent me chevelle z bar ,linkage, and brackets expecting it to work

You can tell They did no actual R&D
To see if they were compatible

While it is true chevelles and monte Carlos share a good bit of parts

But for obvious reasons a monte carlo hood wont fit on a chevelle even tho they are very similar the hood is 6 inches longer

That its self shouldn't be so bad if they didn't give you 3 days to figure that out and after that your stuck with it

The only reason they are getting a 3 star is i cant deny the quality of part they are of good quality and came with all the parts to assemble everything but I will be having to fabricate the brackets and linkage after I paid 300 for the kit

If you have a 70 monte carlo buy the pedals only they are great and buy a hydromax kit they are only 90 bucks for the pedals rest of the kit is useless
