I first want to recognize the outstanding customer service from Thomas Bird London. I had been waiting for a pair that was out of stock, and as soon as it became available, they contacted me right away so I wouldn't miss the opportunity to purchase it.

I also had an issue completing the payment through the app they use, but their team reached out immediately and helped me finalize the order without any hassle. That level of attention to customers is hard to find these days.

As for the shoes, they are exactly what I've come to expect from Thomas Bird London, exceptional quality, beautiful craftsmanship, and excellent materials. Every pair I've purchased has exceeded my expectations, and this one is no exception.

If you're looking for elegant, well crafted shoes backed by first class customer service, I highly recommend Thomas Bird London.

Size is very very small. I can’t use these shoes.

Its hard to order a brand unknown online, the shoes looked very classy, high end , when they came in they were beautifully made ! Fit was great I used same size as my birkenstocks, love these and people who like nice things will notice these shoes are far above average.

Great buying experience and the quality is excellent for the price point. Shoes arrived in the US within 48 hours!

Thomas Bird supplied me with blue shoes and a belt to match, the belt did not match and was not the same colour as the shoes and then with a small amount of(time less than a year) the colour changed to nearly black. I have used nothing but the Thomas Bird polish and cleaned the shoes in accordance with their instruction. The shoes are kept in their respective socks and returned to their original box after use. the shoes have not been worn a large amount. This experience has been a total disappointment and the Thomas Bird company should be ashamed as it has no integrity and their customer service team is non-existence as they pass you from one provider to another and nothing happens even though they promise outcomes that they do not keep.
This is the reason I have not posted this before as they keep you holding on in the hope that something will transpire. The companies mission statement should be quote. "WE HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED THAT PROBLEM BEFORE". Do not buy product from this company. Regards, Bruce

Thank you for your response but this is just the same old rhetoric with no substance.
A suitable solution/resolution would be to take the shoes back and give a definitive and honest answer as to what has happened to these particular shoes, not offer a discount on another pair of shoes.
As I have previously explained to the many customer service workers, I am not looking for money or a discount and I am not willing to throw good money after bad, what is my guarantee that the next pair of shoes would not have the same defect? I had an answer from Stuart that intimated that the shoes would need to come back but this was never formally done as no forwarding address or acknowledgement was given to me, even after I had asked.
I also asked customer service several times to ask the manufacturer what had caused this issue they could not answer properly, only to say they have never had this issue before.
These shoes were used very few times they were cleaned with Thomas Bird product and kept in their respective socks in their original box and kept in the wardrobe. Thus the reason for not noticing the colour change immediately, as the colour change must have been progressive also on another issue but with the same problem the belt is no longer the same colour as the shoes?
It seems to me that Thomas Bird does not operate with honour and integrity, as has been evident by their responses; this is the point that really irks me, as I don’t believe I could ever get a fair and reasonable response from them with this issue. In conclusion all I expect from Thomas Bird is exactly what I paid for blue shoes and matching belt nothing more and nothing less. Regards, Bruce.

I have unsubscribed several times and yetThomas Bird still send their messages and advertisements.
I shall not be buying any more product from this company until my blue shoes are repaired to the original color as per the belt, their product quality assurance is not good and as per my previous experience they do not give any true resolution.
This company is only a shoe distributor and not a manufacturer, everything is great until there is a problem. Bruce

Their return policy is unclear and fearmongering. Dont waste your money. Their shoes fall apart and stain the second you touch them and are impossible to return.

While the time difference made for less than speedy (by American standards) response time, once they began responding they tried to do everything they could to resolve my issue and did resolve that issue. Now me paying for shipping the second time wasnt optimal, but in the end was okay. Never use USPS for something this expensive THOMAS BIRD LONDON!!
