Sorry we are unable to offer inhouse refurbishment it's just not cost effective for us to send individual pairs back to Italy but if you can find a local independent cobbler they are worth their weight in gold (I know mine is) and they can normally re-sole and refurbish most shoes and boots. Shoes: beautiful, exactly as pictured. Compliments abound. I could not find shoes of comparable quality anywhere in my city (Vancouver Canada)
Customer service: incredible. Talked to me for twenty minutes on the phone to review how my measurements should influence sizing, and about the colour and profile of several shoes. They followed up with side-by-side pictures of the shoes I was interested in. The shoes I ordered fit perfectly, and only thanks to their help.
Value: worth every dollar
Delivery: received to my home in Canada within 2 business days.

What came first ? the Ferrari or Thomas Bird Shoes?
Thomas Bird is a class organization. Everything from styling ideas, shoe selection and quality, coloration options and svelte shoe shapes. If you are tired of frumpy boring dress shoes and boots, Thomas Bird has the answer. Like a Ferrari, Thomas Bird Shoes have intoxicating shapes, skinny waists and lovely shades and knockout colors. Greater still is Bird's attention to customer service. It's easy to order and shipping is lightning fast. if you need to make a change - no problem for easy return or easy exchange. I've never met more gracious team members who are more than helpful both communicating quickly and completely either electronically or over the phone. How often do you get a helpful expert on the phone these days ? Never. I had the pleasure of being helped my Sam. She is a marvel at getting it right and went out of her way to make sure I was clear on her solutions. I can't wait to buy more shoes from this firm. It's truly well thought out end to end. Congratulations on how to win over customers. Great Products and Great Service. It matters. PS...I am pretty sure the most recent shiny black Ferrari I just saw was patterned after the Memphis side zip boot.

The customer service and engagement, along with the amazing look and quality of the shoes, are what really set Thomas Bird apart. I needed a new pair of shoes for my daughter’s wedding just a few days before the big event, and Thomas Bird worked with me to help pick out just the right style and size. I got them with plenty of time to spare and was delighted. My Thomas Birds paired perfectly with my top hat and tails — they were a huge hit at the wedding. Thank you Thomas Bird!
