Good value for your money host's we're really helpful lovely scenery I wold love the chance to stay again and I've recommended to my family and friends

We had a lovely time, the pitch and the view were perfect. The pitch was a little more than we would normally pay but totally worth it for the amazing view and the peace & quiet. The location was perfect, as lovely garden centre at the top of the road and amazing walks right from your pitch, totally worth the price!

We had the best stay at The Hide. It was for my boyfriends birthday and Natalie went above and beyond. We stayed in the cabin and it had everything you need, it’s really well thought out and finished to a high standard. The bed was so comfy, and the shower is spacious.
So peaceful and you’re left alone. I’d definitely book if you’re looking for a nice a break away.

We had an amazing stay bank holiday weekend in 2 of the belle tents, the facilities are brilliant with everything you could need. The tents are huge and with nice comfy beds. Even though we had bad weather one night we were still able to sit in the fire pit area and shelter from the rain! The site is beautiful with so many fun things to do and lovely pubs (if needed). Bathrooms are private and to a really high standard! We will definitely be returning - again hopefully before the end of the summer! Hosts are lovely and available if you need anything.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Hide. Natalia and Matt were such great hosts - super friendly and quick to respond, providing options for things to do in the area. The cabin was relaxing, cozy, clean, romantic and very peaceful. The hot tub was a perfect addition and we could enjoy it straight away as we requested to have it heated prior to our arrival. The only thing worth mentioning is that the kitchen is quite small and the cooking facilities limited for those intending to self-cater rather than make use of nearby pubs. All in all we had a great weekend and would definitely revisit. Next time we'd love to experience it in the summer so we can make better use of the gorgeous views of Rutland Water

The perfect place for a romantic getaway! The hosts were so lovely and made us feel very welcome.

Arrived to a warm welcome from the hosts. Beautiful shepherd’s hut in fabulous surroundings with perfect views of Rutland water.
All amenities superb, including large shower and mains toilet.
The wood fired hot tub was simple to use and made the whole stay perfect in every way.

Such a lovely place to get out of the city and enjoy nature with an amazing view of the lake. The hot tub make the experience extra nice and relaxing.
Would go back !!

We stayed at The hide for two nights and can't wait to be back honestly. The hospitality of Natalia and the whole experience has been amazing from start to finish. The place is unreal and you can really tell how much effort there is behind and how much they are passionate about their job.
We've not been very lucky with the weather on the days we booked due to a storm,however the owners were very kind and offered us to move dates. This makes you understand that they actually care about YOUR experience and don't do that just for business. We really appreciated that.

All lived up to our expectation… we were treated to the most beautifully spectacular view of Rutland Water and its surroundings… very private and secure… enjoyable for the time spent…

Natalia was super friendly, relaxed and accommodating.
The location is beautiful. We stayed in a bubble tent which was hidden amid the orchard, with a view of the lake.

Couldn't have asked for more. Well kitted out - even had a radiator for when it got a but chilly (late September).

The private stove / firepit / bbq area was very spacious and, again, well kitted out.

Everything was clean and tidy, including the private washroom.

Would definitely recommend and will hopefully be back soon.

Such a special place! We absolutely loved our stay in one of the stargazing lotus belle tents - such a stunning setting with a view over Rutland water and almug the apple trees. The tent was so cosy and had everything we needed including loads of kit for BBQing/lighting fires. The shower is amazing and the tent was super clean. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a Glamping trip.

A wonderful cozy cabin, stunning setting, views over the lakes from the cabin are amazing. Hot tub was amazing to sit in at night and look at the stars. Booked for my birthday and will be booking to stay again. Natalie is lovely and extremely helpful. Overall excellent experience would recommend this place.

Booked this stay for my partners surprise birthday trip and recharge for us both!! As soon as we arrived the host, Natalia, was warm and welcoming, but even before we got there she did her best recommending food places to me via email. She was a fabulous host and only a text away if you needed anything! We stayed in the cabin which was cosy, clean and the views were fantastic! The woodburner hot tub is a great extra to take in all the views, plenty of parking right near the cabin and lots of nice places to visit for food and walks nearby! Im sure I'll be back in the near future! Definitely recommend.

Fantastic end of summer stay at the Hide. We pitched a 4-person tent. All tent pitches are set in individual secluded bays, surrounded by beech-hedges. The views across to the water were fabulous. Easy walking down to the nature reserve and along the lake and plenty of good pub and brunch options in Oakham a 5-minute drive away.

Loved it! My husband was a little hesitant at first because of the size of the Shepherds hut but it honestly was perfect!! Eveything we needed was there plus little extras. Comfy bed super clean, all wood coal needed for fire pit or bbq, great little hot tub and it was in a fabulous location with beautiful views. Natalia was a great host, she was there (or wizzing around on her golf cart) if we needed anything! Definitely going to recommend this little hidden gem to all I know!!

This is my 2nd stay in a month with my roof tent, which says it all really! Unbelievably beautiful location, with really large pitches framed by high hedgerows, and an open view of the water. A dream!
Even the logs bought from Natalia (who is fab, as everyone says) burned brightly and for ages.
I also feel very safe here. Thank you for sharing your amazing vineyard x
