The Hide at Manton bay Opiniões 

Was a last minute thing to make the most of the September sunshine and was absolutely perfect.

Great location, near to Oakham, Stamford, Uppingham for some shopping, cafe hopping and yet far enough away for complete relaxation away from the hustle and bustle.

Brilliant site with all the facilities you would need and really liked the individual camping bays, will be looking out for sites in future with the same feature!

What can we say? This was one of the nicest places we've stayed and Natalia was both responsive and kind throughout our stay and before. We had everything we could possibly need and the location was just spectacular. Toilet, shower, kettle, utensils, comfy bed - it didn't even feel like we were 'camping' as it was so luxurious.
We can't wait to come back next year!

This camp site has great access to the cycle route round Rutland Water. With a great view of the lake to boot!

The Stargazer Tent was lovely, the whole area inside and out was perfect. There was plenty of wood and coal to burn on an evening in our own private outside seating area.

The views were stunning and the place was idyllic.

Natalia was a fantastic hostess and couldn’t do enough.

The facilities were all clean and kept to a very high standard. Everything we needed to cook was readily available too.

We would definitely look at going back again. It was such a peaceful and relaxing place to stay.

Absolutely beautiful views of the lake and peninsula - Natalia was quick to respond to queries and gave really helpful directions to the local spots. Showers and toilets clean and working. Had a lovely stay - highly recommend. L

Probably the best campsite I've been to...lovely bays meaning each set of campers had some privacy...great views...proper toilets, hot showers, hot water in the washing up area. Lovely host. Great!

Beautiful belle tents by the waterside. Lovely location and good facilities for cooking and hanging out, hammocks and deckings are a lovely addition. Only a couple of things let this down which was no instructions for how to check in once you've arrived on site, and no washing up facilities. We also had to use a bathroom that was much further away than what was advertised which was fustrating, but it was still overall a very lovely stay.

Beautiful location, friendly and welcoming host, everything you could need provided and the bed was so, so comfortable. Walking and swimming in and around Rutland Water made this an ideal spot to stay.... in absolute luxury! We didn't want to leave and hope to be back again one day. Thank you for having us!!

Fantastic stay from start to finish. Absolutely loved our stay in a Shepherd’s Hut. Beautiful location, stunning views and so peaceful. The hut had everything we needed and Natalia was so kind and helpful.

We had the best weekend getaway ever, just what was needed to chill and switch off from everything. You couldn’t ask for a better setting with some breathtaking views.
Everything was lit up at night so it looked so beautiful, the private deck was also an added bonus to watch the sunset with a glass of wine. We loved sitting in the hammock with the fire going making s’mores. All the wood was provided which was so useful.
The tent was spacious, clean and had everything you needed for a relaxing weekend away! We highly recommend staying at the Hide!!

Gorgeous little cabin, relaxing stay with absolutely beautiful views over the bay. Went for gorgeous walks around the nature reserve literally on the doorstep, watched the osprey chicks came home fired up the hot tub and dined alfresco. Popcorn and fizz on arrival lovely touch. Cabin has everything you need with lots of little helpful bits that you may not of thought of. Showers is very hot and powerful, super comfy pillows and bed 💖

Beautiful location and best campsite I’ve been too. Great view of Rutland Lake and felt secluded. 5 min walk to the Osprey Centre.

Me and my husband had a wonderful experience at the hide in Manton Bay, we stayed in the stargazer belle glamping tent, everything about it was stunning!! the views, the tent and the beautiful reservoir 😍
The tents were clean, cosy and very comfortable. They were extremely accommodating, the tents were stocked up with tea, coffee, milk, drinking water, a kettle, mini fridge, heater, pots/pans and also cutlery, it was perfect!! The bbq area was amazing and coal/wood was provided.
Everything was lit up at night so it looked so beautiful, the sunset was breathtaking from our private Deck.
The room was spacious and clean, The bed was extremely comfortable, The vintage aesthetics were awesome.
We had such a wonderful experience, it was the best stay ever. The hosts Natalia and Matt were delightful, their service was exceptional as well. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend staying at the Hide!! ✨

An incredible place and the experience and service overall was so personal that it just made us feel very grateful to be there.
We switched off from the world only to experience another one. Only to reconnect with nature to the absolute fullest. You must stay here.

We stayed at one of the Shepherds huts for one night, it was so cosy and romantic with stunning views. Lots of special finishing touches and Natalia was super helpful. Will definitely go back for longer next time.

What a fantastic friendly place to stay ,just returned from a weekend break ,the tents are amazing with lots of added extras the bathrooms private and amazing, best of all the views are stunning from the decking of the tents, every consideration has been taken into account, thank you,we will be back
