I bought a pair of boots and after two months a defect arose in the sole of one of them resulting in wet feet - not ideal for wet winter dog walking!
I messages Tretorn and Frida, in their customer services department apologised, offers a full refund and 15% off our next purchase. Absolutely top class service.

Jag hade köpt ett par vinterskor som jag älskade men vars sula tyvärr släppte snabbt. Tillslut tog jag kontakt med Tretorns support gällande detta. Jag fick snabb återkoppling, trevligt bemötande och en vecka senare hade jag fått hem ett par nya likadan skor. Väldigt glad för det!

I bought the blasia rubber boots last…
I bought the blasia rubber boots last year and unfortunately they got broken and leaked. I contacted the costumer service and they nicely offered to send me a new pair, which is very kind! I love the shoes, because for rubber boots I find them quite pretty and they are really comfortable. In further rubber boots I always got blisters. I totaly recommend Tretorn and the Blasia Boots!

Tretorn, change your nome to Boot-torn. That is a a good description. Maybe in Europe no-one actually works hard enough to need boots that last more than 2 months, but in Canada, we still do work.

As mentioned previously, we are unable to assist with this matter directly because the boots were purchased from a different retailer. We’ve tried to clarify this in our previous communication, and I sincerely hope you’re able to reach a resolution with the retailer you bought them from.

Mycket trevligt bemötande
Efter att jag reklamerade ett par gummistövlar, blev jag bemött på ett mycket värdigt sätt. Jag kommer att få ett nytt par likadana stövlar, samt får jag behålla de "gamla", som de föreslog skänka till behövande, en vädigt bra idé!
Desutom får jag 15 % rabatt på ordinarie priset vid mitt nästa köp!
Det betyder att Tretorn bryr som om sina kunden!

Had a pair of boots bought as a gift. Within 6 months they had split in the same place on a seam. Because I had no order number Tretorn would not replace them but offered me 15% of buying a new pair. No thanks I will never buy from this company and do not recommend them.

Tretorn Garpa
I had an issue with Tretorn Garpa. After 2 months and 10 uses, their glue started to fail and are leaking. For such an expensive boots this is unacceptable. I reached Tretorn with picture of a leak place, because the seller does not have replacement. But the answer from Tretorn customer service was, that I have to solve the issue with the seller. Cold corporate behaviour. I just want to have my Garpa which wear great, not my money back after endless hackling with the seller.

According to the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (Konsumentköplagen), warranty claims must be handled by the retailer where the product was purchased. Since you bought the boots from a third-party retailer, they are responsible for assisting with any replacement or repair under the law.
We know it can be frustrating to have to go through the retailer for a resolution, but we truly hope you’re able to get the issue sorted quickly. We want nothing more than for you to enjoy your Garpa boots to the fullest!

Richtig schlechter Kundenservice
Richtig schlechter Kundenservice. Sie geben einem ein Rücksendeetikett mit, dass keine Expresslieferung enthält und dann braucht das Paket eben ewig nach Schweden. Die Zahlungsfrist ist aber abgelaufen und nachdem sich keiner meldet vom Kundenservice und es auch keine Hotline gibt, musste ich den Betrag bezahlen, obwohl ich alles vorschriftsmäßig gemacht habe.

Watch out for shockingly bad customer service
Beware: shockingly bad customer service.
I've been a loyal customer of Tretorn and have owned several of their shoes and boots throughout my adult life.
Recently purchased a pair of rubber boots the same size as my older ones and disappointed when they fit larger. This was not mentioned on the website.
Got in touch with customer service and someone by the name Jesper replied asking for my order number and that he'd 'cancel all shipping cost'.
After I sent my order number, I didn't hear back from him and received no other actionable email. When I followed up, I received a one-sentence email with no-context whatsoever.
This hipster-way of communicating infuriates me, as I had to keep chasing with another email to clarify what exactly is the solution offered to me, only to receive more one-sentence reply with nothing to action.
Here we are, close to two months later, and they seem to have ghosted me.
It's truly a shame as they have good quality products, however their horrendous customer service prevents me from purchasing online. Be mindful, especially if you are purchasing from the UK.
