We've been using Workable for over a year now - works really well for medium-sized companies (approx. 250 employees). It's very user friendly and has a robust software that hardly ever goes down.

However Customer Service is the gem: they're very responsive and I also like that I deal with the same person all the time. He knows the history of the issues we encounter; furthermore, you're able to build rapport. Definitely recommended !

Generally speaking, it's not that bad.
The UI is more painful than competitors like Smart Recruiter or Recruitee, and there's something in the user experience that seems to mean that within 5 minutes of using the tool you end up with 10 open tabs. That said, it works.
A major new issue is the fact that legacy issues don't seem to be being fixed, they're being resold to the customers as add-ons... Referrals don't work properly? He's a 5 grand referrals add-on. Requisition forecasting doesn't work? Here's a 5 grand forecasting add-on.
I understand that businesses need to make money, but there has to be a middle ground on this where customers aren't left feeling they've been oversold a product that won't improve unless they fork out more money on it. If I'd been able to spend over 15 grand on an ATS, I'd have probably gone with something like Lever.

Workable is the easiest ATS I have ever used over my 20 year career as a recruiter. You don't have to go through an arduous logging in or uploading process. My clients can communicate with my candidates directly and it is all recorded.

I will be recommending it to my clients.

Struggling with job adverts - the fact you can have the same person apply to the same role is silly (upload themselves and they are able to upload through another source even once they are rejected and they then appear in your list a 2nd time)
The copy joblink is a lot harder to copy now, when posting a job online
It would be good if you could drag a job board application straight on to Workable direct from email instead of dragging on the desktop and then on to Workable
The fact the source is not automatically updated is ridiculous and the worst part about workable. If we get 100 applicants from JobServe we have to singly go in and edit every candidate, so time consuming.

Clunky interface and hard to find what I'm looking for. Search is poor too.

Brilliant product, brilliant support and service. I have been a fan of this product for years and like the fact they are always innovating for their clients.

In a competitive landscape they are keeping on top by consulting and listening to their clients.

If you work in TA, this is a must see product which doesn't break the bank and adds tonnes of value to the recruiting operation.

I have used Workable in two different companies. I highly recommend it!
Given that I didn't know much about recruitment or have ever used similar tools, using Workable helped me improve my hiring skills, and now I consider myself a knowledgeable person when it comes to finding and hiring for my team.
Part of my success is based on their good and fast support team as well as the ease of use of the tool and People Search

very USA orientated :(- wording and options available when advertising etc...
Not user friendly when inviting recruiters to jobs..can only invite one at a time!!?!
also be good to have step by step guides for hiring managers and recruiters that really spells out exactly what they should do as I have to keep taking them through how to upload a candidate etc

Might be down to client usage but finding it to be inefficient

Workable is one of the easiest websites to use and navigate, I would recommend it to everyone!!

Great product at a good price. Easy to use for recruiters and makes communication across hiring teams simple and effective.

Solid app with a clear, easy to use workflow. This is a good example of a SaaS app that nobody talks about because it just works and everyone is able to get on with their day. I wish everything we used was as no-nonsense as Workable.

My only complaint is that several of the pages/page sections are too slow to load when browsing through candidates, but they are not slow enough to consider using another app.

Initial integration of workable was difficult and slightly fraught. Once it was in place we had to get to know the application. It does what it needs to...but the UI needs a complete overhaul. It's not intuitive and not user friendly. A more tab driven layout would help. The software itself is buggy and does some very random things from time to time. Yes we can manage our hiring via the tool, but it has a long way to go to warrant a 5 star rating.

The service is amazing, very helpful people, very prompt service, excellent.

We have been using workable for just a bit of time and I absolutely love the support, it's fast and effective. The program has helped us save a lot of time and organise our applications in a comprehensive way.
I personally love it.

I'm very new here and the support rendered by workable team (Marios) was indeed great and saved a lot of my time...
