We replaced our pool pump and wanted the exact same model - AmeriMerc had it in stock and price was lower than anywhere else we checked. Free shipping was a bonus and customer service excellent when I called to check on status of shipment. Will definitely shop with them again.

The solar reel we ordered came right away. I am still waiting on the
solar cover. The prices are great, better than any I could find online
with free shipping. I will be ordering again for my pool items.

Recieved my "Horizon" solar reel system for my 15 X 30 foot pool from UPS and when I opened the two boxes it came in, the tube box which didn't look damaged, must have been thrown in the truck by a Gorilla. 2 out of the 3 aluminum tubes were badly dented on the ends and one actually had a small tear. (No end protection on the tubes?) I had to hammer out the dents and crimp the tear in order to slide the tubes together as directed in the instructions. (Took about an hour to repair the tubes.)

The instructions for putting together the system were very easy to follow and descriptive but be aware you will have to read them through carefully & entirely, before attempting assembly. The average homeowner with little or no mechanical or tool skills will most likely have assembly issues.

Once the system is assembled though, it does what it should and is of very good quality. Make sure you spend a bit of time measuring and aligning the reel straps before you punch holes through the pool cover. Make them as perfectly aligned as possible with the reel tubes & cover. If you do, the cover will roll up perfectly. Also make a mark exactly where the reel is going to be postioned when in use. The straps should be in perfect alignment with the cover then. I have a 16 mil cover and there's plenty of room on the reel.

The 4 bearings are of good quality which makes rolling the cover on or off a snap. The stanchions are white and of good quality milled aluminun. I ordered the castors but haven't recieved them yet? The only gripe I have is the manufacturer should give an option for white straps instead of blue. I have a white fiberglass pool, a clear cover and a white "cool deck" concrete Lanai surface, so the bright blue straps stand out like a sore thumb. The only other gripe is the packaging. Please put protective end caps on the tubes or bubble wrap them. Overall, a good product for a good price. I would reccomend this product to a friend.

I ordered a swimming pool accessory for a friend who is retiring, hoping she will be able to enjoy it as she relaxes in her swimming pool. Her retirement party is coming up later this week. I think she will be surprised!

After confirming with a representative of Amerimerc that the product in question would replace my non-functional in ground pool light, I ordered the Pentair replacement. It arrived the morning of the 3rd business day. I'm very pleased with the fast, efficient and reasonably priced service.

AmeriMerc's website was easy to use and navigate. There was a wide variety of options and information on the pool filters I was looking for. It was easy to order and my filter arrived in a few short days. I was very happy with their service and the whole process. I would definitly recommend them to anyone looking for pool or spa equipment.

The good if they have it they ship. If they don't they call and try to fill your needs.
The bad their on site tracking needs some work. Ordered two pumps about 2 or 3 weeks apart, first arrived no problem tracking info was good. Second one ships and it shows the same shipping date as the first one, as well as the same tracking number. a few days later it gives me a new tracking number different freight company. Next day gives me another freight company same tracking number, number no good with the second or is it third company now. It arrives in good time and condition. So overall good needs work on the little things.

I purchased pool cover on 5/15.
UPS tracking shows departure scan on 5/21.
Todays UPS info said delivery maybe 5/28... so MAYBE 13 DAYS?
Can't wait to see if your product is a shabby as your service!

O-rings are very critical to a sand filter so I was not sure if I would be able to get the exact right part. AmeriMerc was the only website I found that gave an exact description of the part I needed. The o-ring seals came quickly and worked perfectly.

I checked on my order 5 days after it was placed & it stated my order was still being processed. Meanwhile, the UPS man had delivered it while I was on the phone with AmeriMerc trying to find out where my order was.

Other than that glitch, it was a good experience.
