A lovely lawnmower, a nice upgrade from having a electric cable Mountfield. Looks nice in green although not to dissimilar to a Mountfield mower. I've had the mower for just over a month now, the battery pack does as it says and lasts for an hour, so plenty of charge for my lawn and can almost get two cuts per charge. Customer service is excellent as well.

Got the lawn mower delivered. Everything is super. Did the first cut. Have to get used to the propelled. But really good. Because of the dry weather conditions I didn't have to mow the lawn since then.

Ok, it was my fault that I ordered the wrong part. But the website is not clear. Wanted a replacement blade for lawnmower - it said the blade was compatible with my model. Well, it is in that it will go on but is not the right length - is shorter. Even when I knew it, it was still hard to find on the website where the length is mentioned. Will cost too much to send back. Am disappointed that I sent them a message about my experience and got an automated reply saying they would respond within 1 day, but then heard nothing. Just want them to amend their website so noone else makes the same mistake - it's easy to fix ATCO!!!
Amendment - had an email from Acto the same day as the review went live. They are sorting me out and hopefully they will amend their website.

The Atco 18s is just great.
Found the drive cable I was looking for and received it quickly.
I previously wrote a review praising Atco customer services under my wife’s name but now I have a major recurrent problem. It echos, precisely, the problems outlined in a review by Richard in March 2024. My Atco Quattro 22 SHV is, like his, throwing its drive belt off at regular intervals : and, suspiciously, my purchase was made at a similar time to his. My supplier has replaced the belt now 4 times, originally under warranty but lately at my cost. I first approached Atco customer services with the problem but they directed me to my supplier BUT he cannot determine the problem. Given that my mower was bought almost at the same time as Richard’s I am beginning to think there is a batch failure. My supplier suggested trapped long wet grass might be causing the belt to fall off its pulley(s) but that is not the case. It last came off when cutting short grass which was quite dry. He states that normally his customers have not had problems with this model BUT I certainly have. My supplier is collecting the machine again tomorrow ( I cannot fault his service) but given the above history I have asked him to contact Atco : this is, it seems, a manufacturing issue. Help, Atco, please.

I have been throughly impressed by the service I have received from in customer services at Atco, Katie was swift in her response to my email, concerned to listen carefully to my experience and then resolved the matter very effectively. I only have praise for her and if the rest of the customer service team are as good then Atco should be extremely proud of the staff they employ, Katie is a credit to you Atco
After spending nearly £700 on a battery operated lawnmower,I was absolutely appalled that after the first year service and it being cleaned the paint was flaking off and was rusty.
I spoke to Customer Services at Atco to be told the reason the paint had come off was due to mowing the grass when it was damp, how many people cut their grass when it is slightly damp?
I thoroughly clean and wipe it down after use and can’t believe the rust is so bad after one year!
The man from customer service says that he never ever cuts his grass when it’s damp! What can you believe?
Not only am I not satisfied with the mower now but also appalled with the lack of interest customer service had.
I said that the company who serviced it was happy to put some paint on it for me and he suggested that was a good idea!!!!
What can you say! Never again!

Highly recommended the White glove service, the mower was delivered ready to go by a local dealer who was very knowledgeable and went through all controls and ensured I as happy before leaving.
Quick turnaround on delivery and responsive when I had some follow up questions. I chose ATCO because it’s a heritage British brand (albeit one that is now part of a bigger international group). However would be nice to see more emphasis on the brand being used more going forward and perhaps a wider range of Atco products? Also little things like the delivery correspondence being branded Stiga etc confuse messaging etc…. Otherwise very pleased with the lawnmower it cuts fantastically well!
I was contacted when the part was available and it arrived within days.
