Although much of the information on your credit report only stays for 6 years, there are so many other bits and pieces that can remain indefinitely, like address history and financial associations.

Viewing your full report gives you the best overview of your data, so you'll always know what could impact your credit applications.

Regarding your payment, whenever you request to cancel your subscription (either permanently or temporarily), we should stop taking payments right away.

Usually, the quickest way to cancel is online. Simply log in to your Checkmyfile account and head to the 'Account' section (you can find this by clicking the icon with your initials or looking under Help Centre). The option to cancel appears there under Billing.

If you're having trouble logging in or need more support, our team would be happy to cancel your subscription for you. Just email us at help@checkmyfile.com or give us a call on 01872 304050 9am-5pm Monday to Friday.

We'll always send you a cancellation code to confirm we've cancelled your subscription.
