I have just stayed in Easy in Oxford

I have just stayed in Easy in Oxford. The whole team were so friendly and helpful, Josh, Patrick, Aura in particular. Polite and willing to make sure my stay was good. I found the hotel to be spotless, the rooms modern and comfy, on the small side yes but beautifully done for a mid budget hotel. Great location. I will stay here again.

Unclean

Hotel has no window , shower was cold and unclean , no space in the room just a bed and small bathroom. Sink was unclean . Staff didn’t understand English very well, drinks were 2 pound , Won’t be coming back

Very bad nights sleep

Stayed here for 1 night as was attending an event in Milton Keynes, when we got to the hotel we checked went to our room we had a twin room. Well it was like a box room has to side wall around the end of the bed to get to me bed, you could not swing a cat in there only bonus was it had air con. The telly didn’t work as had no signal and there was only 1 pillow per bed, now the bed was so hard it felt like I was sleeping in the floor had the worst nights sleep ever.

Nice and cosy!!

I’d Stayed at the Travelodge in Leeds city centre the night before & had Upgraded to a SuperRoom Double !! But had a restless night !! Due to the Firm bed & the room temperature Uncomfortably warm Despite having a Osculating fan & the window open Hence also the noisy Rd! So when I Check into the Easyhotel the next day I was Quietly surprised how Comfortable the bed was & how cool the room was Despite the window being locked! The Convenient thing about the room is that You can control the room temperature on the wall!! & I didn’t hear any noise all night! & even better no traffic noise! also the hotel is a stone Throw away from the local amenities Defo would recommend will be definitely be staying here again!!

Værelset lugter og er møgbeskidt

Jeg har booket et værelse på deres hotel i Paddington i denne uge og kan desværre kun give en stjerne, der er til medarbejderne i receptionen.

Værelset er hvad man betaler for, men lugten er meget slem og og værelset er beskidt/ulækkert. Her lugter af en blanding mellem mug, fugt, røg og billig parfume og har man ikke den larmende aircondition kørende hele tiden kommer der hurtigt til at blive meget indelukket, som om alt ilt forsvinder fra rummet.

Jeg vil aldrig vælge dette hotel igen.

Stayed at the Easyhotel Milton Keynes…

Stayed at the Easyhotel Milton Keynes in May 22. Requested a vat invoice on checking out as i was told that is when i would receive my invoice or it would be auto emailed to me on checkout.I opted for it on checkout as gut feeling told me i would never receive the email(how right was i) low & behold i was told the printer was out of order. Absolute nonsense as there was a queue a mile long checking out & the guy on reception really did not seem bothered tbh.
In a nutshell i have now rang on 5 occasions-no answer! Contacted customer services & they dont respond either!!! This booking was made through hotels.com & they are not interested either!!
Worse companys ever to deal with,they wont be getting our business again.

easyHotel makes customers contribute to recovering their COVID-19 losses

COVID-19 has caused us all one way or another losses and hardship but to find a hotel like easyHotel Maastricht City Centre makes me contribute to recovering their losses is not expected and unfair.

Booking.com made the reservation with easyHotel Maastricht in November 2019 before COVID-19 arrived, for 2 nights in July 2020 as we were attending an Andre Rieu concert which was then postponed.

I followed the directions and recommendations of the ECC Net to act in good faith with contributing to the survival of suppliers, however easyHotel sadly didn’t follow the Unfair Contract Terms Directive 93/13/EEC and Pursuant to Book 6, article 265 of the Dutch Civil Code.

The concert was rescheduled to July 2021 and Booking.com did reschedule the hotel dates however COVID-19 again cancelled the concert and the concert was changed to July 2022 but Booking.com didn’t answer my requests and I had no option but to contact easyHotel which did reschedule the date.but now my wife has had to have chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant.

The treatment was in October 2021 and expected to be completed in December 2021 and we still planned to come to the Netherlands after receiving all her previous and current vaccines but in May the hospital told us that she was immunocompromised and despite receiving three COVID-19 vaccines and would still need hospital treatment plus it was too dangerous to travel due to COVID-19.

The concert couldn’t transfer the tickets to July 2023 and offered a refund but easyHotel couldn’t change the date and refused to refund.

Even when I had found a couple who were wanting to take over the reservation, a day before the reservation, easyHotel didn’t reply to an email I'd sent until mid afternoon of the day of the booking, too late for the couple as they had found another hotel

Let something positive come out of this virus and support the hotels, travel insurances and other business that followed the guidelines by working with their customers and report business and hotels like easyHotel and Booking.com which feel that travellers should pay for their losses and can’t be trusted to do the right thing. Also didn’t receive any help after requesting a voucher from Booking.com.

My initial flights from Australia to the Netherlands for 2 was AU$2500 in 2020 and this year now costs about AU$8200 so we have losses too but I don’t expect easyHotel to pay for it.

Anyone who have still not received a refund from easyHotel or easyHotelbenelux and is interested to commence a class action please message me.

Please help travellers by adding your hotel to the list.

Vile, Cheep, Tacky, Rude!

Was kept wait 2 and half hours due to discrepancy as to what it says on booking.com and easy hotel guidelines as to when you can check in, also staff tend to appear at your door without request and then open it without knocking, I had just left shower and this is outrageous. This hotel is cheep tacky and for what you get a rip off. Vile.

Terrible..

Terrible... Do not book with them, I have tried and tried to cancel a booking via email, via tweet, and via their website, it's been almost two weeks and STILL nothing, no response.. NOTHING all I want is my money refunded.... Not a word from them, they answered a tweet 3 days ago saying they would pass my email on to the "booking team" and still nothing ... I have until aug 4 to get my money back (as per refund policy) and I just think they're holding out til then.... Shocking . AVOID AVOID AVOID!!

Don't ever use this hotel!!!!!

Don't ever use this hotel!!!!!! We got two rooms with no windows. The hotel claims, that we ordered rooms with no windows. But we didn't!!! And the Mail we received on the confirming, does not say anything about windows. So stay away from this hotel!!!!

Poor service (EasyHotel South Kensington)

The receptionist at EasyHotel South Kensington was very rude. She accused us of not paying and demanded we pay saying that our credit card was declined. We had to show her bank statements to persuade her that we had paid booking.com already. Her level of English meant that she was not able to communicate clearly and understand. When we complained to EasyHotel the response we received was defensive and accusative and took no responsibility, seemingly written by the receptionist we complained about.

Paid but check-in doesn’t work!

Their website and app broken so I can’t check-in online and it doesn’t recognise that I’ve already paid extra for early check-in and bag drop- it tries to add them, even though my booking states I’ve already paid for them.
The app states - ‘error please call manager on ….’, but the it’s not possible to get through to number they provide as continuously engaged. Their contact form states they’ll get back to me within 4 days……Hope I have a bed tonight…….

Very basic you get what you pay for

Very basic you get what you pay for.
Was left without any running cold water for my stay, even though I reported it. No sanitary bin in the bathroom. Paid for a late checkout only to have the cleaners bold in, in the morning. Fan kept clicking all night and disturbing sleep. Apparently no other room available to swap with.
Will warn if you are a wheelchair user, bed is very low down. Doors are heavy!

This is basically as uncomfortable as…

This is basically as uncomfortable as their airline and has no business charging the prices they’re charging. The showers is literally a death trap as it is so slippery! Stayed for 3 nights and the bed and pillows are such poor quality they left us with back and neck ache.. there was a TV without a remote in our room..

No changing of towels, bedding (FOR 3 NIGHTS) nor toilet brush, telephone or kettle in the room, only two hangers and nowhere to actually store clothes. The air conditioning is way too much even in the lowest setting but off the tiny room becomes unbearable.. all in all I stayed in better hostels so please don’t waste your time and money!

Manchester Easyhotel

Just stayed at the Manchester Easyhotel. Great experience and helpful staff. Simple, modern, comfy room in a great location. Although the room is on the small side it was great value.
