I have been ordering from Firstlight Optics for over 10 years now.
Outstanding service and value. I have always found it clear whether something was in stock and have never had a problem with a delayed delivery. Once or twice I have been directed to one of their competitors when they felt I was best served by a product they didn't supply. Phenomenal customer service

I've bought a lot of astronomy equipment over the past few years, and out of all the companies I've deals with, FLO are hands down the winners on every front.

Easy to use website, accurate stock levels reported, helpful staff if you have questions, and up-to-date information available on the status of your order on the website.

To be honest I relied in reviews like this and all the good mentions and references materialized. Before buying I asked them in the contact request form and got a very fast and useful answer to my doubts. FLO delivers in a quickly and efficient way the products. I bought a pair of Hawke Binoculars. They came very well protected for the shipping in a box through DHL delivery and it just was my best buying experience so far (from the many I had). Really recommendable.

Bought celestron ultima eyepiece duo. Initially a little skeptical as was such a good price of £59. However eyepiece arrived within 2 working days with 2 pound delivery charge. eyepiece looks fantastic, no issues at all. couldn't be happier with the service over all. Will definetly be using again.

I emailed on Friday afternoon to confirm if they had a ZWO camera in stock (rather than, as I have experienced elsewhere, relying on their suppliers having items in stock). They had. I asked if I could collect from their warehouse. Yes, but order it online first. Within an hour I showed up, and I had my camera. Staff were delightfully friendly.

Dealt with FLO many times for astro equipment and can safely say that genuinely they are about as good as it gets. You are kept regularly updated on any order progress, the stock levels are noted and order lead times are pretty accurate and the prices are extremely competitive.

First time I've dealt with this company and I must say it was a first class experience.

I purchased x3 telescope eyepieces from them, which were delivered quickly and for technical reasons they didn't work on my scope.
Firstlight tried to help technically as much as possible but I had no joy getting the eyepieces to work in my scope, my scope was either faulty or incompatible?

Returned everything for a full refund and was refunded promptly, good experience from purchase to return.

Highly recommended.

I ordered some eyepieces and filters from the site. A bit of confusion from the way the status was displayed, I send them an email which they answered within a few hours. They were in the middle of their busiest period, which meant a few days delay. But they were honest and the delivery time was still good, considering it needed to be sent from UK to Denmark.

If companies don't physically have stock they should advertise they do nor state delivery will be within a set time. In this case 2-4 days. They take your money and waste your time. They never had stock. Indeed I got a refund but that was only because I was chasing them up. Otherwise they'd still sit with my money until something turned out. In the end the supplier advised the +30 days. Not good business practice and a WASTE of my time. Avoid.

As a relative newcomer to Astronomy it was great to find a supplier who (i) gave clear, impartial advice in a patient manner (ii) had great prices and (iii) great service (and, for us, wasn't too far away if there were problems)

We got a telescope for our little girl at Christmas and FLO were great from start to finish - you know how some companies just give off that air of confidence and competence you know everything will be great . . . .
