Excellent service. The app is easy to use with lots of information.
Claims are very simple to put through and paid out very quickly.

My employer offers benefits through Health Shield and it makes a huge difference. The coverage is very comprehensive and the claims process is very straightforward. On the occasions I've not followed the process or met the criteria properly, Health Shield are quick to help and a corrected claim is usually processed very quickly. It's a truly excellent service.

Logging on was more of a challenge due to my forgetfulness of my password. Once logged on was easily found what I need to do and enclose for the scheme with examples of what was needed. Forms was filled in and submitted and got a quick response and payment filled very quickly.. spot on..

Everything is straight forward and clear. Also, Health shield staff act fast on claims. I am very happy and satisfied with the level of service.

Concise advise on required documentation for claim plus swift communication.

Platform is dated and claims always seem to get rejected saying there’s insufficient evidence. I recently claimed for an MRI and it got rejected as Healthshield said it should have been claimed under Consultancy. I didn’t want to use that category as it’s the one used for excesses on consultants fees that aren’t covered by my health insurance and as there is a dedicated category and cover limit for MRI it should have been covered under that surely. I honestly have an issue with nearly every claim I make and you can’t go in and update a claim when they reject it, you have to submit a whole new one. In short, you can get them to pay out, but not for everything you’d expect and not easily.

Fast, Efficient Claims Service.

We got there in the end but it took several attempts as the receipt was long and seems all information had to be in the same photo.

My claim got rejected for not showing payment and reason for accident. Although both things were included on the initial submission- they were overlooked. After calling, the lady was helpful and stated that she would contact the claims team and get it adjusted.
