Last years from 2024 Jamendo was not…

Last years from 2024 Jamendo was not paying any attention to the agreement between the service and contributors. Royalties are not paid despite the request of payment on time, continually long delays or no payment. You can make contact and always hearing the same melody “Ticket is made” the team will work this out…..but it is no end story with Jamendo.

Guess what, payment requested in June 2025 of my Royalties, normally we expected the money to PayPal in July 2025 between the 1st and the 10th of the month, as agreement of Jamendo, unfortunately until now after two months I got no payment from them…..it helpless and hopeless, no one care about at Jamendo site as contributor, they doesn’t respect their service project or business, finally Jamendo will end soon loosing their business and no Artists will dare to contribute with pleasure within that bad service. I think Jamendo is suffering from a financial crisis. But they won’t make it public to the customers because that will kill any operations excellence, the system is not compliant anymore.

Be wary

Be wary. I have been a contributor for years, and this company has always answered messages and paid my royalties (slowly, not on their stated schedule, but they do eventually come in). However, this year they have not paid out royalties due to me and have stopped even answering support requests and emails. I fear that there is something wrong behind the scenes. Considering dumping my content and pursuing legal action.

Complete lack of regad for authors

Jamendo shows a complete lack of regard for its authors. Payments are often delayed for months, and support responses are limited to standard copy-paste messages. In over ten years of collaboration, not once have they processed a payment on time. Their accounting department remains unable to resolve these issues or ensure timely transactions. Overall, it has been an extremely disappointing experience.

Formal Notice Regarding Non-Payment, Breach of Contract, and Unauthorized Licensing of Music

To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to formally notify you of a serious grievance concerning my artist account on Jamendo.com. Despite multiple requests and the passage of over four months, I have not received the payments owed for the licensing of my music. This failure to issue payment is in clear breach of your contractual obligations.

Moreover, I am aware that other artists are reporting similar issues, indicating a broader pattern of non-payment by your company. What is especially concerning is that, despite this failure to compensate us, you continue to license and sell access to our music to users and clients. This constitutes unauthorized use and may be considered fraudulent and exploitative behavior under applicable intellectual property laws.

Let this letter serve as formal notice that if the full outstanding amount is not paid within ten (10) business days, I will be forced to pursue legal remedies for:

Breach of contract

Misappropriation of intellectual property

Fraudulent business practices

Theft of royalties and earnings

I also reserve the right to publicly disclose these actions and collaborate with other affected artists to file a joint legal complaint or class action lawsuit, should Jamendo fail to address this issue in a timely and lawful manner.

Please treat this matter with the urgency and seriousness it demands. I expect an immediate written response confirming receipt of this notice and an exact date by which all owed payments will be issued.

Furthermore, to any other artists who are also not being paid or feel exploited by Jamendo’s current licensing practices, I invite you to band together for potential collective legal action or mutual support. Please contact me at copyrights097 gmail.com.

JAMENDO Have Stolen All My Earnings From My Music

I have been with Jamendo since 2010...

I have over £1000.00 in my revenue share I have earned for my music, but out of the blue on may 2nd 2025 they have decided to write off all my earnings and have said that they need to be claimed within a 3 year period stating clause 4.2.3 Jamendo licensing

How is that correct if I've been with them and had that amount for over 10 years ?!?!

I am currently looking into legal action against this company because something is not right...

Please be aware of this and read the other reviews concerning the same thing!

Still unpaid after 6+ months – avoid if you value your work

If you're thinking of working with Jamendo as an artist – think twice.
I’ve been waiting for over six months to receive a payment that I rightfully earned. My invoice was submitted more than two months ago, and the last time I received any payment was half a year ago.
Every time I reach out, I get the same copy-paste replies: “thank you for your patience,” “we’ve forwarded your case,” “it’s being processed.” But no actual progress, no transparency, and most importantly – no money.
This is not just a delay – this is disrespect toward the artists who keep their platform alive.
If I don’t receive my payment soon, I will be forced to take serious legal steps, including involving my legal team and contacting relevant authorities in Luxembourg for breach of contract and failure to fulfill financial obligations.
To all fellow creators: avoid this platform if you value your time, your effort, and your income.

Awful experience - lost credits that I had paid for

Bought a pack of three credits in July 2024 with a one-year expiry date. The company changed hands and system in October 2024, my credits disappeared and after months of trying to recover them, and being gaslighted by Jamendo's customer service who kept claiming that I should be able to see the credits on my account, they've now stopped responding saying that I should wait.

Very good!

I've made more than one purchase. I recommend this platform because it was good music, for a fair prize without any Problems occuring in the process from payment to video-upload. (Licensing usually is tricky in my homeland)

Not Worth It for Serious Artists – Jamendo.com Fails to Deliver Fair Compensation

If you're an independent music artist hoping to earn meaningful revenue through Jamendo.com, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. While the platform may look attractive with its promise of music licensing and exposure, the reality is disappointing.

First and foremost: they do not pay artists fairly. The revenue share is extremely low, and even with regular downloads or streams, the amount you earn each month is barely noticeable. It can take many months—sometimes up to a year or more—just to reach the $100 minimum threshold to cash out. That’s assuming your music is even picked up or licensed, which is far from guaranteed.

Transparency is lacking, and support is slow or unresponsive when it comes to payment-related inquiries. Artists deserve a platform that values their work and provides clear, timely compensation for it. Unfortunately, Jamendo does not deliver on that front.

Bottom line: If you're looking to actually make money from your music, or want a platform that respects your time and creative labor, Jamendo is not the place. Consider alternatives with better royalty structures and artist support.

Can’t Monetize My Videos Anymore

I've been using Jamendo's services for a long time and have always monetized my videos by clearing copyright claims without any issues.

However, recently when I submit a claim removal request, I’m being told that the claim won’t be released and that I should contact Jamendo support — because, apparently, the music authors don’t see or receive the payments for the licenses I purchased.

I don’t know who’s right here, but I find it hard to believe the composers are lying to me becouse I’ve received three similar replies over the past month from two different artists. As a result, my videos are no longer being monetized.

Please sort out these internal issues.
In the meantime, I’ll be buying my music from Epidemic Sound — I haven’t experienced problems like this with them.

Usiamo JAMENDO da molti anni, ma...

Usiamo JAMENDO da molti anni, sicuramente era molto economica nel 2010 ma adesso a 89€ l'anno non è più competitiva. Il catalogo non si mai rinnovato, quindi ormai conosciamo a memoria tutti i brani delle 10 radio disponibili. Inoltre la qualità dello streaming è pessima, interruzioni continue, un disastro. Sconsigliato.

Jamendo has played a very active role in my music career. It has helped me greatly in getting my music known to a much wider audience. I would recommend it not only as an artist, but also as a listener and lover of good music.
