Not only they don't pay artists anymore, but also just realised, that they still sell my music and whole even that I removed my music and whole artists profile from them some time ago. I will be taking legal action enough is enough.
But for all you reading this, please stay away from this company.

I had an issue accessing my Jamendo account, but the support team was incredibly helpful and responsive. They followed up quickly, involved their IT department, and made sure everything was working again. Great customer service – thank you!

Update 11/05/2025, get paid two months late.
I have been working with this company since 2016 and have never had any problems with them before.
In November 2024, they suddenly stopped paying out rewards for stream licensing and Online synchronization, which has already raised some suspicions. And in February 2025, I ordered a withdrawal of money and they have not been able to send it to me for two months. They say that they have been negotiating with the accounting department for the second month and so on.
The amount is small, about 100 euros, and it looks like they simply do not have any more money to pay authors.

Good. The music library is effective and suits any type of business / customers. I especially appreciated how fast and effective the customer service was (by email) when I had a question.

I want to use an app to play a licensed music in the store, the app is no longer available to download and they removed it without any prior information, in the current situation the only option is using the website that also includes music our shop cannot use without paying additional license. They are not informing users about upcoming changes, I was looking for 1 hour why some tables cannot download their app. If you want to find some music for your place stay clear and look for something else. And they even won't allow downloads anymore.

EDIT: After another talk with support they don't feel obliged by the promises made by sales person 4 months ago, so I'm no longer able download music as promised, and the new app by default plays non royalty-free music.

Jamendo has a great customer service. Quick to respond and very efficient !

L'azienda si è dimostrata seria anche se non tempestiva nella risoluzione di un loro problema informatico.
Tutto sommato valuto l'esperienza positivamente.

Inscrit en 2013, j'ai posté mon premier EP sur ce site et j'ai vraiment vécu quelque chose d'assez extraordinaire : mon titre a fonctionné à la perfection, totalisant plus de 100 000 écoutes. Le site avait eu un réel impact sur mon travail d'artiste indépendant, avec de nombreux retours et, surtout, de nombreuses vidéos en ligne utilisant mes musiques. Le rêve pour un jeune qui se lance. Jamendo a même vu naître des artistes connus aujourd'hui.

Mais voilà, rien n'est plus comme avant. Déjà, le site n'accompagne pas les artistes qui percent, les laissant livrés à eux-mêmes. Du coup, ça passe ou ça casse.

J'ai eu la surprise de constater que mon EP, ainsi que toutes mes écoutes, mes statistiques, etc., ont été supprimés par Jamendo depuis que j'ai indiqué être à la Sacem. Alors en soi, ok, je comprends. Cependant, il y a un nombre incalculable d'anciens EP ou albums d'artistes à la Sacem qui ne sont pas supprimés de la plateforme. En fait, tant que vous ne l'indiquez pas... voilà. C'est un peu de la triche, quand même.

Aujourd'hui, j'ai de sérieux doutes concernant la véracité des écoutes sur Jamendo... et je ne suis pas le seul. J'ai trouvé des personnes sur Reddit qui doutent également de la véracité des écoutes. Les statistiques d'écoutes ne coïncident pas avec les autres statistiques de favoris et de téléchargements. J'ai un ami qui a fait 80 000 écoutes et il n'a que 2 commentaires et 1 favori... quelqu'un peut expliquer ?

Bref, à fuir. Jamendo, c'est la grosse déception. Je ne sais pas si c'est toujours Martin qui gère, mais franchement, c'est lamentable d'avoir laissé un site aussi cool, une vraie plateforme pour nous, les indépendants, se casser la figure à ce point.

je suis abonné depuis le 04/11/24 sur la plateforme en RADIOS IN STORE
1 - c'est écrit que vous avez 2 semaines offertes c'est faux car ils ne veulent pas vous désabonner
2 - la licence promise n'est pas accessible depuis 1 semaine pour pouvoir diffuser légalement la musique dans le commerce.
3 - attention, il faut payer la SPRE et non la SACEM en France comme taxe et donc leur envoyer la licence JAMENDO pour justifier que les artistes sont bien rémunérés par JAMENDO et par la SACEM.

Great platform with a fairly big collection of music — I found a lot of classical pieces, far more than I could find in any other paid or free royalty free music platform.
