Walnut Tree Place Excellent
My father lived in Walnut Tree Place Goring by sea for 2 years and was very happy there. It has a great community feel and being a smaller development a great personal feel. The manager there Maxine is extremely helpful,caring and very efficient and is a great asset. If you are looking for a retirement apartment in the Worthing area I would highly recommend Walnut Tree Place

Firstly, I must say what fabulous staff McCarthy & Stone, Earls Grange, Burscough, are. They cannot do enough to make sure I feel comfortable and happy about moving.
Karon picked me up from my home address today to look at one-bedroomed apartments to finalise my choice of apartment.
Karon and I sat with Sue and had coffee and biscuits, and a good natter putting the world to rights (so funny); then I met some really nice residents while I was looking at apartments.
I’m really looking forward to being part of the community, because I live on my own and it’s not much fun; but moving to Earls Grange, I’ll be able to meet lots of new friends.
I’m so looking forward to doing jigsaw puzzles, knitting and sipping on fizz on a Friday and getting sozzled with the other residents! 🍾 🥂
Karon showed me around some apartments and I chose apartment 32, which is absolutely beautiful, with a balcony to sit out on during the summer and have breakfast and an open plan lounge and kitchen - note, I can’t believe how big the kitchen is! I also asked whether I could have an integrated dishwasher? “Yes, of course, we’ll sort that out for you”, Karon said. ☺️
So, so, so excited now things are up and running. My house will be put on the market now and, as Karon said, my house will sell quickly because it’s not only beautiful looking from the outside, it’s beautiful on the inside, too. A perfect first-time buyer’s home.
Thank you, again, Karon, for being so supportive, friendly, kind, caring and for keeping me up-to-date in the process of securing and buying my dream apartment. I couldn’t do it without you.

He has gone above and beyond by helping my mother get a replacement CD player, helping her to fix her door, finding the face cream she loves but couldn't get and moving chairs in the property outside the lift area so that my mother can take a rest between floors. Westwood Manor - Exceptional service and experience
There are not enough thanks or words of appreciation in the world for Joanne Harris at Westwood Manor, Beverley, for everything she did to get my grandparents moved into their new home.
The process itself was challenging due to circumstances at our side and whilst it would have been understandable for a business to reach a point where they could no longer help, Joanne dug deep and continued to push forward for us, her determination and commitment to doing the right thing for my grandparents meant that against all the odds, she got them moved in, making a real difference to our entire family and we cannot thank her enough.
The apartment itself is beautiful, and the moving day was handled with real care and consideration, given my grandparents ages and Alzheimer's diagnoses, we knew it was going to be a particularly emotional and stressful experience, however, the team were on hand throughout the move (without us asking), helping us to settle them in and doing everything they could to minimise stress.
It's been a couple of weeks since the move and my grandparents are over the moon at their new home, it was a significant change for them both and the fact that they're settled into their apartment so soon at their age, is a real credit to the team at Westwood Manor, they are a force of nature and McCarthy & Stone are lucky to have such a fantastic, compassionate and genuinely kind group of people working there - Sam has been amazingly supportive and has thought of every single detail since move in day to make sure that everyone has everything they need to be settled and at home.
We are incredibly grateful for the team at Westwood Manor, huge thanks to Joanne in particular and I've no doubt that my grandparents will have many happy years in their beautiful new home together, and we know as a family that they are somewhere they'll be happy and well looked after by such a fabulous team!

At Benedict Court in Newbury, we have found the House Manager, Denise Brant, to be extremely supportive. We have had a really positive…
We have had a really positive experience with McCarthy Stone at Haven Court. My mum moved in over a year ago and has settled in really well. The community is lovely, and it’s reassuring to know she is happy, comfortable and enjoying where she lives.
I would particularly like to mention the new House Manager, Leanne, who has been fantastic. She is always approachable, friendly and has a smile on her face. Whenever a homeowner needs something, she acts straight away and does her best to help. It makes such a difference knowing there is someone on hand who genuinely cares about the residents and their needs.
I appreciate there may be challenges when it comes to selling properties, but for me, the most important thing is that my mum is happy where she is and feels part of a lovely community.

I am a home owner at Cranberry Court, Peterborough since 20 19. I feel safe and happy living in the development with a friendly, respectful and caring community. Our house manager Mrs Gwen Tack is dedicated and caring. She ensures the building is safe, clean and well maintained. Gwen organises and encourages us to be involved in activities of interest and well being. She organises evening get togethers with food, drinks and entertainment, enjoyed by all. Helpful with any queries or problems we need sorting. Location of the development is walking distance to supermarkets, medical and dental surgeries and places to eat , beautiful walks and gym./swimming pool. Beautiful garden to relax in any time of the day in the development.

Priory Place - Sophie
I have been dealing with Sophie, at Priory Place Studley, on behalf of my parents and i honestly can’t thank Sophie enough, for the help she has provided.
Sophie is so knowledgeable, so friendly and so smiley. Nothing has ever been to much trouble. Sophie has been an absolute joy to deal with and is a credit to McCarthy & Stone.
We have also dealt with Ellen, the House Manager at Priory Place, who is lovely and Simone at Powell House, Sutton Coldfield. Simone was kind enough to help, with a meeting, as my parents currently live closer to this location, and with my Dad’s ill health, it was a huge help.
The apartments are gorgeous and Priory Place, is a perfect location with so many things, in walking distance!

When I bought my apartment two years ago, Claire and the sales team were extremely helpful in assisting me with the process of moving and introducing me to the community here, particularly as the sale of my previous house caused complications and delays.
