Been a member for over 40years I think
Been a member for over 40years I think, mainly use dental, optical and last 2 years chiropodist. Have used physio , and maternity in the past. But recently retired and pay money through bank instead of out of my wages, I think this reset the month I started claiming and this I think caused one of my claims to be declined, so that’s why I gave great rather than top score

A friend recommended them highly but I…
A friend recommended them highly but I couldn't find enough info on the website about what was and wasn't included, so I called up. I particularly wanted to know about pre-existing conditions and whether outpatient care is excluded or only 'Hospital Benefits'. He told me outpatient cover is not included at all. I questioned this and he started reading the manual. Not confidence-inspiring and still no idea if my condition is covered.
Thanks for your reply, but outpatient literally means what you state is covered.

Thank you for your review and apologies for any confusion caused.
I can confirm that we do not cover outpatient appointments on our health plans, we only cover a daycase appointment where the patient attends to receive a diagnosis or for a treatment, investigation or minor surgery.
We also do not cover pre-existing conditions for three years from the start of your policy or at the higher rate for three years following an increase to your level of cover on our voluntary health plans.

Difficult to deal with…
This company has been difficult to deal with as it has very rigid ideas about supporting documentation format for claims. I’m now on my 4th attempt having spent hours on the phone to the hospital and my primary healthcare insurer. If you wish to make a claim with these guys, prepare for a long battle! Would not recommend.
