Pets4Homes are a brilliant service which helps potential dog owners discover their 'Forever' pet. I like this because payments have to be totally transparent and honest. It has helped me find a pet long ago and has found a very compatible dog now after my previous pet passed due to severe arthritis after 12 years.

Absolutely appalling service! £309 missing despite paying £109 for payment protection!

I paid £309 for a puppy deposit through Pets4Homes, including their £109 payment protection fee. Their website redirected me to my banking app, where I authorised the payment. The money left my account, and my bank has confirmed it reached the recipient account.

However, Pets4Homes failed to register the payment, forcing me to pay ANOTHER £309 by debit card!

£618 has now left my account for a £309 transaction!

Despite explaining this to customer support, I’ve been fobbed off with a generic response confirming they’ve received my payment. Yes, the CARD payment — WHAT ABOUT THE OTHER £309?!

What exactly is the £109 payment protection fee protecting customers from if Pets4Homes cannot even account for payments made through its own system?

Absolutely disgraceful. I want my £309 refunded immediately and a proper investigation, not another dismissive response!

I had been looking online for pup after the loss of our 18 year old cat we just lost. I came across pets4 homes and found the perfect puppy we all agreed and went for it. Will be picking it up on Tuesday so I feel the site helps even with safe payment system so all in all I've had a very good service.

The whole process was easy from start to finish. The massaging service made it easy to keep In touch with the seller. The payment system is safe and secure.

Excellent app with super options that are easy to search and find based on distance and type of pet. We were delighted to find a beautiful hand reared Cockatiel that has now become a really interactive part of our family. He was well tamed and trained by the breeder and clearly well cared for and looked after. We are so happy - thank you! A terrific user experience online and the payment meant it was easy to secure your pet for collection where you then confirmed it could be released to the seller - upon collection of your healthy pet. Really safe and secure for buyers and sellers. Well done Pets4Homes!

Easy to use site found exactly what I wanted.Seller got back in touch very quickly deposit payment made and was instantly with the seller so puppy reserved. Balance held till collection.Brilliant service would definitely use this site again

firstly it is not the ease of use on this site but the people selling the dogs I genuinely would love to purchase a pup I have contact over 10 owner's I either get one word answers or no response or the conversation stops halfway through arranging a viewing if you selling pups then at least answer your enquiries logically

Most worryingly I have recently had a conversation with a so called breeder who would only take cash and would not let me view the mum dog and wanted to meet in a random area this should not be allowed the advert should be taken down and authorities informed

Come on Pets4homes tighten your vetting system up!!!

I intend to buy a specific mixed breed of puppy in the new year and this website is the best one for looking for mixed breed dogs. I'll definitely use this site when I look to buy in the new year.

Easily accessed website. We found our mini Schnauzer from a breeder approximately 20 miles away. We especially liked the fact that Pets4Homes held the balance of the payment, only releasing the funds to the breeder once we confirmed that we had accepted and taken possession of the dog.

My experience with Pets4home website is awful.

I placed an advert and noticed an error, tried to amend it, its website doesn't give option to amend it. So I submitted my query on its web site more than 3 occasions, no one ever came back, the worst - they closed all 3 tickets I raised.

Then I emailed them, eventually they replied and said they responded my requests on date xxx which I do not believe it as I received absolutely nothing, checked junk mail and nowhere to be seen.

So now they confirmed they actioned my request that I sent after my 3 requests online and 1 email.

My experience:
CS experience is a ghost.
Website/app design is awful. Especially filter function design is not good. e.g. Poodle is a generic term, there are different types of Poodles, such as Standard Poodle, Miniature Poodle, Toy Poodle. Most people do not necessarily know the difference. So if you list your dog as Toy Poodle, then buyers search when use filter, if they do not tick Toy Poodle, your advert do not get seen unless buyers filtered exact breed.
Upgrade options for advert is very uncompetitive.

Great site and great add-ons to get you’re advertisement seen betters sold 2 litters through pets4home and would use again in futures smooth sailing all around

Did not actually buy a puppy as we did not find the one we were looking for but web site was very good and helpful… we are still looking🤞

Easy to navigate re finding pets. Pleased to see checklist of healthchecks etc for pets being offered for sale and ability to narrow to location and breed of pet.well done x

It was great using Pets4Homes because you only get genuine people selling their pets , with all the information required to make you feel at ease with your purchase, and to be able to have direct contact with the seller makes the whole process so much easier and personal. I would recommend using them to anyone searching for their loving pets.

I used this website extensively in 2023 in order to purchase/give a home to a pair of Oiental cats.
The website was invaluable to me.In the past,Finding suitable pedigree cats had been an uphill battle,having to rely on the public information of dozens of breeders and then contacting them.I sadly lost one of my Orientals last week so am again using the website to find a replacement to keep her companion from fretting!
