They're great

They're great! Solved an issue with my youtube official artist channel, they're not expensive for the hundreds of soundtracks I release ; they work fast, with efficiency and are supportive to artists.

Songtradr scam

In my case they have freezed my account for three months saying fraudulent activities occurred.but no activities was done from my side . I was being patient and ler them do their job but after after some days they freezed my account for 180days.
In this digital world it is impossible to take six months for investigating a fraudulent activity it is a joke. They clearly using my money for something else
Legal action will be taken if not sorted out soon
Because they not replying my email also. freezed my amount ,freezed my account

User withdrawal not working.

User withdrawal not working.. After withdrawing from songtradr.. Amount is not reflected in my bank account after two tries also..
I think for large amount this problem happens.. Previously I withdrew 12 dollars without any problem but now when I'm trying to withdrawal 116 dollars it's totally not working..

I had purchased an album from…smartsound

I had purchased an album from smartsound. I had been using this album for our videos on YouTube. The purchase included a lifetime use royalty free. Suddenly Songtradr jumps in and claims copyright infringement on our video. I disputed the claim and had to appeal the second time. I threatened them with court action. They still won’t budge. Smartsound stated that they had this album in their library for a short period of time but since I had purchased it during the time they had it Songtradr had to honor the license. They will not. This is what YouTube is doing because of soundtrack:

Songtradr (Sound Recordings) wants to give you an opportunity to resolve your copyright issue before your video is removed and a copyright strike applied.

This is the email I got from smartsound:

Hello George,

Thank you for contacting us. The "Metal to the Pedal" album was a rare case where the album was only offered through our library for a limited time. After the initial contract period ended, the original IP owners decided to not extend and instead pulled the album from our library. This doesn't happen often, but when it does it can unfortunately cause these kinds of problems. Since the music was offered and sold with a lifetime royalty-free sync license, any customers who purchased this album while it was in our library have already purchased the proper licensing for use in online YouTube videos. However, since it is no longer offered as royalty-free music, they are able to issue copyright claims for other uses that did not already obtain the proper licensing. Ultimately since you purchased the music from our library while it was availabe, you have already secured the licensing to use this music, and they need to release the claim. If they do not do this, please send us a link to the video and a screenshot of the claim and we will see if there is anything we can do from our end.

Unfortunatley ContentID on YouTube is still mostly unregulated, but in this case they do have a legitimate reason to have the music in Content ID, but the fact of the matter is that you have already acquired the licensing and Mr. Wilshire has been paid out royalties from us for that purchase, so he should respectfully release the claim.

Issue: "My 2 years experience, The interface is not so user-friendly, you cant connect to official partners artist profiles. and more importantly, They accused me of using forged ID. when I offer them proof of all my goverment issued ID to clear the accusation, they just ghosting me."

So its because I don't know that same person is not allowed to make other Songtradr account. My account is back, safe and sound, thanks Songtradr support guys!

in my case they have freezed my account for three months saying fraudulent activities occurred

In this digital world it is impossible to take six months for investigating a fraudulent activity it is a joke. They clearly using my money for something else
Legal action will be taken if not sorted out soon

Very poor show

Trying to set up payment without a webcam and a phone that doesn't scan is impossible. I spend half an hour trying a workaround. If you are in UK find a NON US aggregator. They used to be great but not sure now. Not as bad as TC though. I think I will have to look elsewhere.

Not recommended

They have a good technical platform and a decent marketplace for sync, which is interesting, even though it did not bring me to any deal in two years, but it might be my fault or bad luck.
After two years of paid, premium subscription and some 20 tracks published, they took down all my releases from *all* the platforms without *any* prior notice.
When asked, customer support said it was due to "artificial streaming", but when asked for some evidence of it, they did not provide any proof at all.
I had to cancel subscription, switch to another distribution and republish everything from scratch.
Unfortunately many days of work for self promotion, play counts, acquired links, placement into playlists etc. were lost & wasted because of their action.
At present day, no other releases of mine under other distributors never had any issues at all, so their behaviour looks totally pointless and inappropriate.
I cannot recommend it.

Purtroppo, non è finita qui!!🙈 Songtradr non solo ha bloccato il nostro account! Il ché possiamo capirlo! Ma ritirare tutte le release compreso una che era programmata per tempo per il giorno 30/09/22 oggi! Mi sembra un comportamento veramente scorretto nei nostri confronti!! Dopo il blocco del nostro account abbiamo scritto a Songtradr chiedendo per favore di non togliere le releases in uscita senza però senza nessun riscontro!! Bravi Songtradr!! Sicuramente così farete in modo che la musica indipendente sia sempre più schiacciata dalle grandi multinazionali le quali non si fanno riguardi a pagare le agenzie per promozionare i loro artisti!
Nelle varie playlist! Senza altri comenti lascio ai futuri utenti che si facciano un idea di come lavora Songtradr promettendo sincronizzazioni che non arriveranno mai!! Spero questa nostra bruta sperienza con Songtradr possa aiutare ai futuri ignari musicisti/artisti indipendenti nella accurata e delicata scelta del distributore musicale!! Buona musica a tutti!!

they gonna steal your money! they have done it in my case. they will freeze your account without any authentic claim, saying you have opted fake plays! i have contacted the music channels but they said we haven't find anything like that! stay away from them

Due to DSPs (e.g Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, etc.) taking a stronger stance on artificial activity, Songtradr has implemented an ID verification layer in an effort to ensure authentic music is being distributed. Any artificial streaming activity is flagged and communicated to the user by our Support team.

Great service with a con (artist from India)

I boarded the Songtradr bandwagon a year ago after looking at numerous options. And I guess I made the right choice. After a year of hustle and impressed by the service I finally bought the Pro subscription. So far I've had not many issues but whatever issues I had with them I got them sorted pretty quick. I've exchanged so many emails with the company and I always got a quick response.

Other than that one thing that hurt me while using their service was they alleged that I was using fraudulent means of streaming which I was not BUT I got this issue sorted as well! I hope Songtradr trust their artists as well. If a DSP allege that a artist is using fraudulent streams then Songtradr must investigate rather than completely believing DSPs and suspending/withholding/terminating user accounts on the go. There are many international users like me who trust Songtradr and their services and I must request to the team to also build a trust relationship with customers. In my case I never used fraudulent streams but still I was terrified because all my music was uploaded through Songtradr but glad that my issue got resolved.

Apart from that honestly I've loved their service and I look forward to more fun with the company. Zak, Betty and Sophie thanks for your responses!

Revenue Withdrawal Never Arrived

Revenue Withdrawal Never Arrived. I have made a withdrawal request since 2 months ago, even a few days ago I submitted a new withdrawal request, so a total of 2 of my withdrawal requests were not processed, while in the article the withdrawal process took 5-7 working days. This is beyond my expectations, I waited more than 60 days! I tried contacting by email many times but no answer. I hope there is a resolution step or response from the relevant team after I write this review. Thanks

22 Days Pending Withdrawal

Service has been downgraded.

I have been a pro member for about a year. I joined primarily for the synch opportunities. For about the first eight months there were many I submitted to but did not score anything. Then along about May the opportunities for tv and movies placements have dried up. Have you downgraded your service or am I looking in the wrong place?
