The showroom is really well presented and inviting. No-one pressured us whilst we were browsing, but when we wanted help all the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Once we made a decision Julie Williams was really helpful in helping us choose colours/ cushions and completed the purchase for us. We were made to feel valued as a customer without feeling any pressure. We will be back!

Julie served us extremely well, she was so helpful and very patient whilst we TRIED to find common ground to agree on which armchairs we would purchase !

We were in need of a new mattress after making two bad and expensive choices from a different retailer. We went to Stoker's in Chester after receiving their Autumn 2026 collection brochure in the post. Our initial visit was on Saturday and we were greeted by Steve Hartwell who was friendly, helpful and professional. He showed us mattresses that he thought would be of benefit to me, as I have sciatica which is severely compromising my sleep. There was no pushy sales patter, just good product information from Steve. He left us to try out several mattresses, we never felt pressured or rushed, but we felt the level of attention we received was exactly what we required. I wanted to do a bit of my own research so we left the store without making a purchase that day. We returned the following day to try out our shortlist of mattresses and decided on a Harrison Spinks. Every member of staff we encountered was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The Chester store is lovely, bright, fresh and welcoming, it has a vast selection of stock in every department with a great team of staff. We highly recommend Stoker's Furniture and will be using them for all our future purchases. They are also excellent on prices. Thank you Steve for a fantastic deal on our new mattress and for the excellent service, much appreciated.

We went in to Stokers Chester West near Greyhound Park and have to say that the salesman Pete was hugely respectful of our space but on hand when we had questions. His knowledge on the products was excellent too so much so that after looking round in several other outlets we went back and bought the mattress. Great service and great salesman in Pete.

Mark was a very pleasant and very helpful member of the staff he was courteous and patient with us as customers and definetly deal with him agaain.

We had a very positive experience at Stokers. The staff were attentive and friendly whilst allowing us to have a wander round and look at all the furniture at our leisure.

We dealt with Mark Cain who assisted us with all the various questions we had about some occasional chairs and sofas. He was friendly, approachable and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and at no time did we feel under any pressure. It took us three visits, much measuring and looking around again before we finally decided on our new furniture. At every point Mark was professional and very knowledgeable. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Stokers, and Mark Cain, to help potential customers!

We had a great experience buying our Sofa at Stokers. There was lots of choice and no pressure browsing trying them out.Jo (Tudor) was very helpful nothing was too much trouble. He answered all our questions, ordered us fabric samples. We were delighted with the Orla Kiely sofa we chose and felt it was really good quality, really comfy looks great and was good value for money. Thanks again

After looking lost in the bed/mattress section Steve Hartwell approached us and asked if he could help. Steve showed us multiple options for mattresses which suited our needs and budget as well as a bed base. Steve recommended ways to keep our bed in good shape throughout the life of the product and didn’t feel like a salesman but a person genuinely interested in helping the customer. 5 star service, thank you Steve!

Lovely experience at Stokers today. Great parking. A massive store with a huge choice. The store consultant Andrew Short was very helpful and patient as we juggled sofa and chair sizes that would suit our lounge. Our final purchase came with a good price. Andrew knew all the options available and we were able to phone him a couple of hours later with our decision. No pushy salesman tactics but just honest and we trusted him to give us all the relevant information and to give us a great deal.

We are returning customers to Stokers as we always find their staff to be very helpful and knowledgeable.
On this occasion we were helped by Peter Thackway, a young man with clear high standards of customer service. Polite and professional, he was able to quickly assist in our selection of a new mattress, it was such a pleasant shopping experience that we ended up buying a new bed too.
We will continue to select Stokers as our furniture provider of choice primarily due to the quality range of products and the helpful attitude of Peter and his colleagues. We never feel any sales pressure here.

Stokers is our "go to" when buying large furniture items. On this occasion we were looking at a new bed for when we move home. We don't currently have a moving date nor have we signed contracts so we had no intention of ordering. When we arrived, Peter came to see if he could help us and guided us to a range of beds to review. We quickly found one we liked and he explained we could place a provisional order to ensure we got the benefit of a time limited offer. He then took us through the options to make the purchase as personal as we needed. Highly recommended. Very helpful, great service without making us feel pressured.

Great selection of furniture, sofas and mattresses. We have bought several times from Stokers Chester and it is always great quality. The staff are great and there is no pressure to buy when in-store. Overall great experience.
