If I could give a lower stars I would
TESCO HIGHWOODS COLCHESTER PHARMACY If I could give a lower stars I would. 1 is too many for this abomination of a pharmacy. No way to contact by phone. Staff member was blunt and really CBA. 20 mins to queue to be told come back in 40 mins and then had to wait a further 25 mins. All for some antibiotics prescribed whilst im suffering from a really bad ear infection , headache nausea but had to wait!! No empathy .
24 hr BP broken and disgusting
Went for a 24 hr blood monitor check with Tesco Pharmacy, and the monitor they fitted was disgusting, filthy, ripped and unbelievably un hygienic!
This was fitted by lady called Maria.
Within 15 minutes my arm was itching and felt like a rash was starting. When the device went off my arm went bright red and hand tingly. When I took it off to look more, I discovered a tear in the blood pressure wrap, that meant it was over inflating and hurting my arm (quite dangerous) and the item was filthy and smelt for pee/feaces, like it had been in sewer ! I spent the next 20 minutes. Scrubbing my arm to get the smell off. Do not under any circumstances go to this pharmacy.
This is the worst pharmacy that I've…
This is the worst pharmacy that I've ever had to deal with. Firstly, they often have a lack of important, basic medicines and with them being the only pharmacy in the local area, this is a big problem, especially for people with mobility issues who can't get to another. Next up is the wait times in queue, there are occasionally two people serving. However one of the tills is almost exclusively for those lucky people that only want to buy something over the counter. Sometimes they will use that till for prescription collection. The wait time in general is utterly disgusting, with customers faffing around wasting everyone's time and a lack of staff serving. The wait time from the prescription being ordered to it being collected is also insulting and the worst I have experienced. I have used multiple pharmacies in Colchester and even if you just bring your prescription slip in you will only wait about 10 minutes until it's ready. Three days or more can pass by with Tesco Pharmacy. These issues existed over 10 years ago at this pharmacy and if anything it's worse. The staff are nice, although seeing them having a nice little chat with each other behind the desk does annoy you when you know how long people are waiting. Clearly the management are incompetent (as usual) and the normal staff are making the best of the situation. For god sake sort this out...

Booked a flu jab for 13.00 in the Stevenage Broadwater store. At 13.35 still a long queue and no one could tell me when my appointment might actually happen. I couldn't wait indefinitely so gave up. Totally chaotic.
GDPR breach and slow service
Every time there's a long queue and not enough staff. Every time, they make you wait 20 minutes. Last time they gave me someone else's repeat prescription paperwork with their personal details, name, date of birth and full address. A total breach of GDPR. Wouldn't be so bad if they were serving quickly and slipped up, but when they make you wait 20 minutes then there's no excuse. I can't find an email address to make a complaint. I will have to write a hand written letter or borrow a printer and write to head office.
Tesco Extra Orpington
Today I required an urgent prescription prescribed by a&e at PRU Hospital to be collected from Tesco Extra Pharmacy Orpington and as I arrived there was a power cut so nobody was allowed in. The staff were great and obliged just as the pharmacy duty manager was leaving. He allowed me in and sorted my prescription. I am so grateful to them!
Tesco Pharmacy Strood
Tesco Pharmacy Strood. I have been given a dog prescription for Pregabalin. As its an unusual 'human drug' prescription I phoned Tesco to see a) would they do it. b) do they have in stock c) how much for the prescription. I had wildly differing costs told to me by other pharmacists.
The man I spoke to at Tesco, seemed to help. I asked if I could email the written prescription. He told me it might take a few hours so I emailed and waited. I phoned a few hours later as i heard nothing.
After going through the palaver of pressing 2,2,1 the line was hung up! I tried over 6 times to get through. I have no idea if they could have done it.
Big thank you to Boots the Chemist who were equally as busy but prepared to answer the phone, give me a figure and told me the drug is in stock. Shame on the customer service at Tesco Pharmacy Strood.

No stars at all. Should be minus 5. Prescriptions are never ready. If I ordered say on the 14th and prescription has been sent to them that morning, they should be ready on 18th. Nothing is every ready & I never receive the text to say its ready. Which they recommend I sign up to. Atleast 5- 6 months now. I've left it 8 days and still never receive a text and when I go in and queue for 30mins I get told to go and do some shopping & come back in 20 minutes. Only to come back to que and wait for another 30 mins. It SHOULD BE BLOODY READY!! I HAVEN'T CAME IN FOR SHOPPING. I'VE CAME IN FOR MY PRESCRIPTIONS.
I come in at weekends to do my shopping. Anyway, so I actually do go and do some shopping and get a FEW bits. Then go to buy some tobacco after queuing for another 15-mins. Only to be told,
I've to much stuff to use that till.
Even though it WAS only a few bits, but it could've been scanned and put item straight in the trolley. So that means I've got to go and queue once more. So 4 times I've had queue for essentially for 2 orders. I don't want to spend nearly 2 hours in your store. I won't anymore, AT ALL. I've changed pharmacy already & snapped clubcard & will NOT use tescos ever again for absolutely nothing and I mean nothing. My family will not be going in there either. Not because of me. But because they have all had exactly the same problems. Such a bad service in there. Literally you stand in the cue of pharmacy and every single person in that cue is saying out loud, how crap it is & how much they hate going there!! You literally leave wanting g to kill some1. It's that bad 👎 I will be putting this up on every single review site and social media platform. I'm not normally like this, but it's such a bad experience to go in there. So much for trying to make it a good shopping experience. Absolutely 💯% 💩
Visited the Buttershaw Tesco pharmacy…
Visited the Buttershaw Tesco pharmacy with my 17 year old daughter who has a history of tonsillitis and always requires antibiotics which he was informed He basically said ring 111 and gargle salt water. and refused to even look at my daughters throat. She has been to Boots pharmacy today who have straight away prescribed antibiotics as they are so swollen it makes it hard for her to breath properly. Really disappointed with the service at Tesco Buttershaw pharmacy just felt like he couldn’t be bothered and didn’t want to be there.
Tesco makes huge profits
Tesco makes huge profits - £2.9b yet in many stores treats its customers like criminals, especially near deprived areas. The worst aspect is you use the scan-as-go to save time, then the self check out assistant scans it all again on a security rescan. Avoid any store that repeatedly does this to you.
Would give Teco Clay Cross Pharmacy 0…
Would give Teco Clay Cross Pharmacy 0 if I could as have ended up without a prescription again today on second visit to pick it up.
I was told yesterday, after queuing for about fifteen minutes, that they had received the prescription from my G.P. but had not had time to do anything with it so it would be ready if I called back tomorrow.
I left it until about 5p.m. today and then went back for it. This time I queued for about twenty minutes only to be told yet again that they had not had time to do it and to call back another day. I was really unhappy about this as I had been waiting so long with my painfully osteoarthritis and told the lady I was not happy about this as I had been told the same thing yesterday.
She just snapped at me that they were really busy and so it meant that , "People like you just keep getting pushed to the back of the queue". I don't quite know what she meant by that ...
She then moved on to the person behind me and I was just left standing there holding on to my rollator like an idiot. As soon as I manage to get this prescription I will be taking my business elsewhere.
Had a important question to ask
Had a important question to ask. As not getting from the Doctor's a lovely lady gave me the advice I needed thank you
Clay Cross pharmacy
Clay Cross pharmacy. 3 staff chatting amongst themselves with only 1 doing any work.
Customers waiting, didn’t faze them one bit.
I will be looking elsewhere for my scripts in future.
Bad Phone sytem

Flowers dreadful
Flowers dreadful. The roses had only just come in at 6am so the man got them for me. Within a day they were wilting. I emailed on contact form but no reply. The flowers were £10. Dreadful service. Will stick to Marks and Spencer in future. Tesco leave dead flowers out too. I have mentioned it to them but they don’t appear interested. No reply from customer service. Three telephone numbers shown but all with same message. They just couldn’t care less. Shameful and pathetic service.

Had to leave due to staff members following me around the shop as if I was about to rob the place.... to this I cut my shopping short due to the fact that I was made to feel so uncomfortable and made to feel like I was robbing the place.... I will never shop in this Tesco store ever again and plus the staff don’t realise some members of public do have mental health issues around such things!!!
The toilets in Tesco's Burnham on sea …
The toilets in Tesco's Burnham on sea were atrocious!! The bins were overflowing with disposable nappies, toilet paper all over the floor and no clean paper in one cubicle and the other had the roll of paper on the floor. It obviously hadn't been cleaned all day!!! Not good Tesco's!
Avoid - Every Little Helps(less)
Where do I start with all the issues I’ve had? I used Tesco Pharmacy Warfield and it takes them a week to process a prescription. I got antibiotics from my doctor on Tuesday, due to a septic finger. I called and was told I would get a text once ready. Roll on Friday, infection had spread and I lost feeling in my finger. I became very unwell and needed hospital treatment. I had to call on the Saturday to ask where it was and told, you will get a text message. Useless! I had another issue back in December and had run put of all of my medication. I called and it bounced to store. Some unhelpful store supervisor Lauren answered. I explained I needed my medication as I take anticoagulants amongst other medication. I tried explaining this to Lauren, who does not even work in the pharmacy, and I just wanted to talk to the pharmacy & not her: She refused & said ‘well they are busy and we are all in the same boat’. She was rude to me, and I asked her politely to not be, to which she shouted at me. I did not raise my voice, only asked to talk to them directly. She continued prying in to what medication I am on, which is not relevant to her. GDPR, only reverent information, which is not revelation to a store supervisor who does not work in the pharmacy. I am autistic, I have ADHD and mental health needs this resulting in me having a panic attack. I had to call store before going in as this awful experience had exasperated my anxiety.
